There are some pros and cons - mostly pros. PROS: I had an appointment and they were ready as soon as I walked in Good assortment of nail polishes Use of shaver to take off callous Attention to detail is great Person nice and didn't force convo (appreciate it) CONS: 1. Had to lift my leg to tend to heel. Really annoying, they need a yoga brick to prop up a leg. Cheap and quick fix. 2. Did not use the cheese grater type for my callouses. I get regular pedis and I still get callous, I need double duty. Really the cons can be fixed just get a block and use both the razor and grater on feet. I'll come back for gel manicure for sure!!!! read more

WAY MORE than five stars!!! TN Nails was a referral from a lady I met at work. I LOVED her nails! This was approximately nine years ago. I have been meaning to write a review for a long time now. LoAnn is THE BEST EVER!! She has done my nails, my eyebrows, and my eyelashes. She is a PERFECTIONEST at EVERY single thing she does. I am EXTREMELY picky!! Just ask her! I lived five minutes from this Salon. I then moved 30 minutes away. I STILL go to LoAnn because of her work ethic, the pride she takes in her work, and her serious nature for perfection!! She treats her clients personally. You are not a number, you are her work of art! And, indeed, her work is always truly an extraordinary work of art!! She will do whatever YOU want. She is NOT the type to do what she "thinks you should have" which a lot of Salon Techs do. I refer all of my girlfriends, co-workers, etc, to her. We're new to the area and are in search of a new pedicure place. This place is close to our house and I thought we would give this place a chance. I did see that they had one review, not good, but given it was dealing with waxing, we were willing to give them a chance. I made an appointment because I'm not good at waiting. I understand that things happen and I might have to wait five or ten minutes but not 30! They gave you the typical "it'll be a few minutes" every few minutes, but a few minutes turned into 30. Needless to say I wasn't happy. If I were a walk in, this would be perfectly understandable, but we weren't. Finally we were seated..after getting the water ran, she left. Ok, not a big deal, at least we're in a massage chair. She came back and started the pedicure, however, she left again and went back to work on someone's hands. They have about three choices for a pedicure. Their middle pedicure that gives you the sugar scrub is $5 more than everyone else. If we hadn't chose that option, I don't think that we would even had any kind of leg massage. We enjoy the leg massage, especially my husband, that's his favorite part, and it was almost nonexistent. I also asked for French on my toes as I gave her the polish, I bring my own. Now most places put the white line on after they put the polish on, so I didn't think anything about it when she didn't put the white line on. It appeared she was wrapping up and I asked when she was going to do it and she said she didn't know I wanted that. I'm guessing because she left twice is why she didn't do it. I told her never mind because I was too irritated at this point. Getting a pedicure every two weeks with my husband is suppose to be a nice relaxing thing we do together. This wasn't a relaxing or enjoyable experience! read more

Worst manicure EVER!!! Instead of cutting my cuticles she ripped them. Started bleeding from 3 diff. places. she did not apologize nor tried to stop my bleeding. I mentioned it to her and she acted like she did not understand. Very unprofessional!! read more

Happened to be walking by, needed a brow wax and stopped in because I saw that they did them there. My first mistake, going to a nail place for a waxing. Long story short; I've been getting my eyebrows wax for over 10 years now and have never been burned until I left this place. Left a welt in my brow bone for a week. Fortunately didn't leave a scar. Next time I'll go to actual professionals and not some rude little girl fresh out of beauty school. Lesson learned. read more

Despite the negative reviews I tried this place anyway. I really needed a pedicure and the place I normally go was booked. I decided to get a manicure as well. I normally keep my nails natural as I no longer care for acrylic, gel and the like. My neck was also hurting very bad and I was really looking forward to the massage chair. The chair was old, wobbly, loud and so annoying I just shut it off. The pedicure was just OK. I asked for french (white tips) and for the most part it looked pretty good but I noticed later that some of the white had been transferred to the rest of my toenail due to the clear-coat. When I first walked in they asked me to pick out my polish colors. Unfortunately most of them looked old and separated. Again though, this was on a whim I was running out of time and needed the services done. When she started doing my fingernails I noticed that the polish was streaking really bad. I asked her about it but she could not understand anything I was saying nor can I understand what she was saying. She did another coat and most of the streaking was gone. About four hours later I noticed the polish on two of my fingernails had chipped. The tip of one of my finger nails was so rough that it kept snagging on things. By the next morning four of my fingernails were very chipped. It looks so bad that I just wanted to remove the polish altogether. Reluctantly I went to work with my nails the way they were. As soon as I got out of work I returned to the nail salon to see if they would fix it. She said because my nails were natural, the polish was not going to stay. I asked, shouldn't it at least last a few hours??? She agreed to fix my nails. What she ended up doing was removing the polish from the chipped nails and re-polishing them. Once it dried it did not match. This was done Saturday evening around 6 PM. Monday morning I woke up and felt something strange on my pinky nail. When I looked, the polish had come on exactly half of my nail. Then I noticed my index finger had no polish at all, it looks like it was never there. I'm guessing I'll find that in my bed somewhere.... The place does not seem very clean and like one of the other reviewers mentioned, there are a lot of young children running back-and-forth screaming and yelling and acting crazy. Very disappointed to say the least. read more

I wish I could give it LESS than one star! I stupidly went twice thinking it was maybe the nail tech! Horrible service, nail techs children are running thru the store screaming and she ignores them. The techs dont speak to you or greet you! Then the nails OH MY GOSH! They messed up my nails so bad, i went back and gave them a chance to fix what they did the next day and they charged me!!!! Had to go get a full set somewhere else! Horrific!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Someone needs to shut them down I cant say one positive thing about either visit!!!!!!
