I am not happy with Happy Nails Monument Road. I went there a few months ago and the male technician did a very haphazard job. He did not even cut my cuticles. I went again today bc I was in a rush and decided to give it another chance. Same thing! Different technician! I asked her to please cut my cuticles, which she did. But she didn't put the polish all the way down to the cuticles. I didn't really see that until I was into the outside sunlight. It seems to me they do this purposely bc they grow out faster and then you are back in the salon sooner. To me, Monument Road Hapoy Nails is a waste of time and money read more

Unfriendly! Walked in with my mother (75) who needed her nails trimmed. They refused the services. 3 nail techs sat in an empty salon without any business and wouldn't help us. This is a great local nail shop that is clean and offers several options. They a friendly and do a nice job.

Which one of them fell off after a day! And my pedicure is already chipping, making me realize they never did gel when that's not what I asked for multiple times. So story time.. let me start off by saying I made an appointment for 3PM, I got there 5 minutes earlier, they took me at 3:25PM. I came in for pedicure and acrylics I specified both gel when I made my appointment and when I picked out the colours, the lady who grabbed me for the pedicure pointed to the nail polish I got and said that's not gel, so I said okay then can you grab the gel ones she said okay. She did my pedicure and guess what it was not gel that she did but I didn't know at the time I was on my phone and trusted her. Now moving onto the acrylics the guy was rude almost mean mugging me, I felt pretty uncomfortable. Not friendly at all. I showed him a picture of what I wanted which I'll post down below, anyways he saw the photo at the very beginning before starting and he got to work on replicating it. He ended up doing the shape of the nail and got to the part of the polish where he tells me he can't do it because the photo only showed one hand. I told him it's abstract he can do similar on the other Hand or even just mirror it on the other Hand it doesn't have to be perfect, literally it's white squiggly lines on a nail like 1 or 2 lines per nail, I could probably even do it. Anyways he refused and said he can't do it. I ended up having to find a photo that matched the shape of my half done nails because it was a stiletto shape and I didn't have other designs in mind for that shape so I find a plan b last second, I picked one I sort of liked he didn't seem patient so that's what I picked. Now progress on the nails the day after I got my nails done my toe nail got messed up, I then realised it wasn't gel, because they made the mistake I called and asked why they didn't do gel lady on the phone at first was making me prove who I was as a customer and didn't even want to hear me out without Proof of receipt! So I found my receipt and called her back, she then FINALLY remembered me and then wanted to hear me out she didn't offer me any discount just her fixing that nail with the same regular polish, even though I asked her for gel specifically at the place and also while booking the appointment. She then said I can come back in two weeks and do gel nails and pay full price for it. This has to be a joke! In the matter of less than a week 3 of my acrylics came off! I noticed it was too small for my nail and of course I went out came home and noticed it had fallen off. Please fix your customer service, and hire people who can actually do nails. I won't even return to fix my nails because I'm not paying for someone else's mistake. Please go somewhere else I won't ever recommend this place to anyone and my friend who's a regular I will tell her not to go here anymore either. read more

Came here because the lady I ALWAYS go to at TN Nails (right across the street in the shopping center next door) was booked. Paid for a gel acrylic full set which is already lifting after just a week. The lady who told me to wait and asked what I wanted done told me that they couldn't do an ombré French nail (even though there are pictures of them on here that people have gotten). The acrylic powder they use is cheap and I could tell as they were doing my nails. The guy that did them also didn't do the shape I asked for at all, which isn't hard to do. I went here for a spa pedicure and a basic manicure. Pedicures range from $25 to $50. This nail salon is essentially brand-new on the inside, very clean, and they have nice massage chairs. The ladies were quite friendly and they accept walkins. They also have a very good selection of brand-new nail polishes. All in all, I thought it was a good experience. There were a couple quality issues that I identified in terms of the shape of my nails and the woman addressed them right away with no hassle. I would definitely come back. read more

Past experiences at this nail salon have been decent, so I returned (as a single mom-educator this was a splurge day) I asked for acrylixs natural as you can get short..pale pink. From the get go the man was very dismissive and very irritated I could not relax my hands as he nicked my cuticles the entire time with his tools. He slopply applied the gel and yanked pulled my fingers mumbling . I was unable to understand him due to language barrier. I told him about 5 times i needed shorter nails..he dismissed. After witnessing my pagent 1980 press on nails emerging.. I begged him to even them out -they are crooked! He scoffed told me he does good..The one woman working noticed my unhappy demour and walked past several time and stopped -but didnt intervene. tried out a new nail salon today with my boyfriends mom. called them and asked if they could do 2 full sets of acrylic at the same time and they took my name and said come on in. when we get there, I got seated and the only male there started on my fingers. I told him that I wanted them medium length and square and thin, very similar to the tips that he had already put on my fingers, and long story short he cut them too short and the shape was unacceptable for what I had asked for. barely any of my nails are even. my boyfriends mom didn't even get called up til mine were done and her nails didn't even get to get polished because the acrylic itself looked so bad and it wasn't even smooth by any means, plus she asked for skinny round nails and received square with rounded sides. very unhappy with the service provided, and also didn't get the discount they have shown in the window for 10% off. read more

My daughter went to get her nail done yesterday for home coming, a gentleman put her nails on crooked and moved her to another lady. The lady noticed they were not straight and ripped them off. As you can imagine this was very painful. Well she put on another set and let's say she might as well left the first set on. They are horrible and all a different shape.
