I winter this so-called T-Mobile location to get my screen protector which is under warranty and they informed me that they are not in fact T-Mobile but their company called GP mobile, which doesn't make sense to me because everything in that store is T-Mobile T-Mobile T-Mobile so I could not get my screen protector under my warranty This is such a . misrepresentation of a brand if I ever saw one read more

I am extremely dissatisfied with the level of customer service I received this evening when choosing your store to perform a SIM swap for 3 of my Sprint lines. Upon walking into the store, I was not greeted with a warm welcome. The mobile expert I met with today, Bruce, was the absolute worst customer service representative I have ever come across in the wireless sales industry thus far. Bruce was very dismissive when being asked questions about my account. Bruce failed to provide insight as to why I should keep my service with Sprint/T-Mobile, simply saying "because you gonna pay more with the others." I then asked for a run down of plans available and he gave another stick remark. I then asked if he could pull my account up and he said , "for what?" I finally get him to take a look into the account and he is very impersonal with sharing the account information with me. He didn't offer solutions to my concerns besides telling me I have to pay off my sprint lines before I can pivot to t-mobile, in a very condescending way. I felt like I had to argue with him in order for him to provide me with the information that should be provided anytime someone inquires about doing business in your store. He then swaps one of the SIM cards and hands the phone back to my wife. Because of his piss poor customer service up until this point, I told him I'd swap the rest of the SIM cards , Bruce walks away and says nothing to me the rest of my visit. Mind you, the SIM he swapped for us was replaced with the same SIM he removed before the swap. It took me performing my own troubleshooting before I realized what was going on. That was HIS job to at least drop by periodically to check on me to ensure I had no issues connecting using my new SIM. As I went through troubleshooting, Karen stopped in periodically as 2 of your employees played on their cell phones. I will never shop at this store again and will go out of my way to avoid having any interactions with your representatives because they lack customer service in every aspect of the word. Each time I've been in there has been the absolute worst experience and this topped it off for me. As a local business owner looking to activate several lines for my business, customer service is important to me. Also, as a former wireless expert, I know what it means to the business to make money and he did nothing to secure my dollar. His choice of words and intonation during our conversation seemed as if he thought I was incompetent. Once my Sprint phones are paid off, I will choose another provider and never recommend this location to my colleagues, family and friends. read more

Newish to the Waldorf area, I went to this location to upgrade to the iPhone 12 mini and my plan. The day before I spoke with an excellent T-Mobile rep (Sam) over the phone at the T-Mobile website and since it would be several days for shipping my phone along with $6 shipping fee, he suggested that it may be quicker to get my phone by visiting a T-Mobile store in my area. As a customer since 2005, I was very disappointed with the service I received at the store. The rep (Devin) got the phone, put on a screen protector, and a new case. Despite me asking questions about my Apple ID and transferring info, he simply rang up my items, which included a $20 "upgrade support charge" and sent me on my merry way. Fast forward two days later, I am having inconsistent ability to swipe up to unlock my phone or to answer calls. The rep today 1/12/21 said my phone was not defective because it worked for him. I explained that it works sometimes but not all the time for me. When I asked about the $20 charge, the response was "well it's what we charge if you buy from the store." I then asked to speak to the manager. I was informed "they are in a meeting but if I want to wait 20 min or so then I can." Totally disgusted by this whole experience, I left the store. I pray that I can get this issue resolved and questions answered by calling T-Mobile corporate rather than visiting this local store. I strongly do not recommend this location. Today I came in to potentially activate two lines for my parents and I was assisted by Troy C. He is the only I decided to activate these lines. I had a few questions about the plan including in depth details and cost. He was extremely thorough in explaining these details to me. Since I had to port over two lines he made sure no numbers were lost during that transaction. His customer service was phenomenal. Not only did he ensure I received my promotion for my two lines, he also told me about another promotion where I could receive a new tablet. I thank him for being patient and walking us through this process. If you every need anything ask for Troy C. you won't be disappointed. read more

The tmobile store in Waldorf md, inside of st Charles mall. Was horrible. After calling the store and speaking with a sales representative. I was informed that they had the upgrade that I was needing for my T-Mobile hotspot. 3hrs later and a store manager that did NOTHING HELP THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE that were looking to upgrade a phone, buy a Apple watch etc. She was no help. The other 2 employees were terrible at best. Lack of training. Blamed their lack of knowledge on tmobile. I was there from out of town and I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. I went to the t-mobile located at 1252 Smallwood Dr W, Waldorf, MD 20603.I The young man is light skin, thick in stature and has blondish, brown colored hair. I went in the store on March 19th to purchase two galaxies ultra-23's for myself and my husband, and I went online and discovered that this young man added a third line to my account that I did not ask for, nor was I told that he was doing this. Also, he charged me installment payments on accessories that we paid for upfront in full. I had to deal with calling customer service for three days, going back to the store for them to tell me that they could not rectify the problem; and sent me to another T-Mobile store just to find out that the smallwood, waldorf store is not an affiliated store of T-Mobile. I had to call customer again to get my bill corrected because the of under minding issues that this employee has cost. I work too hard for my money for me to be scammed by someone that is trying to make a sneaky commission and not informing customers what they are doing. I will be filing a complaint also with the better business bureau. read more

The customer service here was amazing. Troy C helped us with what we initially came into the store for and more! We were able to get the exact phone we wanted and Troy was very helpful in helping fix our current plan and save us money at the same time. He wasn't pushy at all and we felt very comfortable and confident with him. He DESERVES A RAISE!!! We will defiantly come back in the future and refer customers to him! read more

I been in the Waldorf, Maryland Market Place location twice in the last two weeks. The first time my sister and I (whom are on the same plan) BOTH purchased the iWatch Series 4 44mm, with Jazmine, her service was beyond AMAZING! She explained all features of the watch, any out of pocket expenses that were due today or in the future. I informed her I was also interested in upgrading my current iPhone 7 to the iPhone XR, she immediately told me what fees would be due and the time of purchase and in the future. She also went over all the features of the phone. I decided to hold off on the iPhone XR for personal reasons, Jazmine gave me her card and I informed her I would be back. Last night I went back into the Market Place location ready to purchase the iPhone XR. Jazmine wasn't there, so I was helped by Devin. (Jazmine, sorry I didn't wait for you. Trust me, I'm more disappointed than you) I informed Devin what I was there to purchase. He was not very helpful. He assisted me with my transaction and that was pretty much it. He didn't ask if I wanted any accessories, I had to ask for a screen protector, he did apply the screen protector to my phone, then walked away. I considered getting a case as well, however due to such poor service I went to 5Below to purchase one. He then left to go assist another customer whom I assumed he spoke with earlier regarding another sale. At this time I'm sitting in T-Mobile attempting to back up and activate my phone with no assistance from the representative whom I spent my money with. After he cleared up with his more important customer, my sister began asking questions regarding upgrading her phone as well. Devin was unable to explain the fees that would be due today. He gave me one amount, then when it was time to take payment he gave me another and said he just noticed something on the account that made the amount change. Therefore we decided not to move forward with the transaction. At this time, I'm STILL sitting there attempting to active my new phone. Devin informed me that "it's going to take a long time and I should just do it at home". At this point, I am EXTREMELY annoyed, so I left. I go home to back up my phone to my iCloud and when finishing realized Devin never activated my new phone, I had to spend another 30 minutes on the phone with T-Mobile to do so. Being a new iWatch user I was unaware of all that was needed to do to unpair from my old device to my new device, without the assistance from a friend whom works for AT&T I'm not sure that I would have figured it out. I am so disappointed with my service yesterday I am considering taking the phone back and just sticking with my iPhone 7, who wants to spend money with a company who make you feel as if they don't want to help you. I have a child I have considered adding to the plan, as well as purchasing Air Pods for both current lines, but due to such poor service I am going to hold off. I have been a T-Mobile customer for approximately 2 years and I have never experienced such poor customer service. The only reason I even rated the location two stars is because of Jazmine. I would agree with the other review on here about poor customer service and long off-peak wait times. However, my biggest complaint is a lack of training about critical information customers need to know. Ditch and Switch promo where TMobile persuades customers to ditch there carrier and switch to T-Mobile...beware! The rep who assisted me never explained key details of the promo. This meant I was stuck with $280 in fees for switching! The manager took no responsibility for their rep's costly error and his attempts to find a workaround included more erroneous info. Errors happen but this was handled so irresponsibly. read more
