    Older Kyocera rugged phone.  Sturdy and never broke...  Have to go to Verizon to get it.

    T mobile does not have any decent flip top phones. Many people still like a good flip top phone. T Mobile used to have a rugged Kyocera Extreme phone that was excellent. The rugged Kyocera was the best flip top phone I have ever had. Now T Mobile has one flimsy flip top phone or a free one that hardly works at all... Maybe I will change carriers to get the Kyocera... Oh well... I called T Mobile about this and they cannot help... .

    My office needed an urgent network cable replacement that went between a couple of buildings. You…read morecan imagine how stressful it is when computers can't communicate with each other and production goes way down. Stress to the max! Enter Darren, the owner of Communications West. He came by that day, assessed the situation, and provided a temporary solution within less than an hour until he would be able to come back and put the new replacement cable in place. That gave my office some breathing room and brought us back to full production. Darren came back a few days later to replace the cable throughout the buildings and the network and computers are blazing fast. Darren provides excellent, prompt, and courteous service at a fair price. If you are in need, call Darren without hesitation.

    When our conference calling had suddenly stopped working and the phone company (Frontier) was…read moreblaming our equipment for the problem, I called Darren to come look at our office phone system. He was very knowledgeable about everything that had to do with our phone system, and we tested everything meticulously. He even helped me talk to the Frontier techs on the phone to communicate our problem. We concluded that our equipment was not the problem, but that something was now different about line 1. It helped tremendously that he was there to communicate with the techs using technical terms to convey our problem. I would call him again if ever I had a phone problem or want to change our system. He really knows the whole system from top to bottom.

    Finally figured out how these guys work. They are a "re-seller" of services. They don't do anything…read morebut INSERT themselves in between a business and service (internet, phone, telecom, etc). Long story very short: let's say you want internet service. ITS goes to Spectrum to obtain a wholesale/reseller rate, let's say $69 per month. Then, they charge the business $250 or more per month. Why such a markup? They claim to provide 'white glove' service. If they did, great! However, my experience has been 'regular' service. One last thing: they lock you into a 3-year contract and you have to pay "taxes". The trick here is that the taxes include junk fees. For example, if you have phone and internet thru them and your bill is about $300 per month, you will pay an additional 30% in these secret taxes. The worst part? Your locked in the contract! So, you have to pay it or else they threaten to charge you the full 3-year contract and take you to court. Hope this helps you. My personal experience can hopefully help others.
