I can tell on the review half of the times it's 4 stars and the other half is 1 star. unlucky for me I give 1 star - facts: opened the tmobile internet at home about 25 days ago, canceled the account 15 days ago, received confirmation by email the account was canceled and modem received by tmobile I sent. about 5 days ago on the 23rd I was charged 50 dollars despite all this hassle... walked in huffing and puffing and was asked to leave, called Michael at store 3 times all day not once have I received 1 call back, when I did walk in and explained in detail what happened I was asked to leave when I demanded my money back, called the police - instructed me to work with another store - which I did at 8355 15th Ave NW, Seattle - I gave same attitude, huffing and puffing demanding my money back, SUPRISE - they listened, worked with me and assured me I would get my money back in 3-5 days... thank you Art from 15th Ave store! KUDOS TO YOU, I would never want anyone to have to deal with Michael or Dung from 1216 N 45th St. store.... read more

This review is for headquarters which is why I choose this location. I called T-Mobile 4-21-14 and spoke with Denise to let her know that the company continued to make the same mistake and charge me for the second phone line that I had turned off months before. Each month, they did credit my account, but I was very tired of having to call back for the same issue. I was being charged via easy pay which is a mutually accepted agreement with my permission to take funds directly from my bank account. I told Denise that I was going to cancel with T-Mobile even though I had been with the company for many years. She assured me by removing easy pay, that it would not happen again. I gave T-Mobile a chance, but I insisted as nicely as possible I will cancel if there are any further mistakes. On May 20th, I called and spoke with Matt which was basically the same repeat conversation I had with Denise, due to the SAME error. I told him I was going to switch cell phone companies which I did and to remove my account from easy pay. After I ported my same number with Verizon, a new bill from T-Mobile arrived and I thought for sure it was a mistake in billing. I called and was told that I was being charged for a full month due to not giving the company a 30 day advance notice. By this time, Ii was just plain fed up with dealing with them. I had been a loyal customer for approximately 8 years, and the company obviously tries to suck the very last dollar they can get out of a person. It was not the money, but the principle. The cell phone range is MUCH better with Verizon with no dropped calls at this point, so at the end of the day I am very happy, but I wanted to give a heads up to the practice of T-Mobile. read more

Sarah. She was brilliant. Professional, knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. Wanted a new iPhone. They were out of stock. She said she would call later that same day when they were in, and she called less than two hours later. I went in, signed up as new customer, got the phone, and I was out within an hour. Never had such an easy experience with a mobile carrier. read more

I wish I could give them 0 stars. Always received awful service and they genuinely piss me off and I rarely get mad. Currently at AT&T getting a new plan although I was unable to cancel my tmobile one yet. Can't take another second of it. read more

I'm giving this store a 5-star rating because of my awesome experience with Kevin two days ago. He was sincerely helpful, and, though I normally don't like people to try to sell me much of anything, Kevin has a manner and a sincerity - as well as a good habit of *listening* - that made all of it, sales included, a sweet and highly comfortable experiece. Kevin, you rock! read more

THE ABSOLUTE WORST SERVICE EVER! My wife and I were made to feel stupid by their employees for asking questions. When we got into the branch we asked a question about our plan/insurance and were immediately told to call into T-Mobile Customer Service on the store phone while the employee then left my wife and I to try and figure everything out. The employee then decided to get his coat and just walk right by us, without saying a word and leave for the night. When we got off the phone with so called "Customer Service Rep" the two remaining employees decided to just let us sit there without asking us if we needed anything. Finally one of them asked reluctantly if he could help, when we told him our story he decided to laugh at our issue and make us feel stupid for asking a question at all. If they are there to answer questions and help, but the last thing they do is answer questions or help, then what the heck are they there for. We never heard how our issue would be handled or fixed by T-Mobile and we ended up leaving EXTREMELY UNSATISFIED. read more

We've been visiting this T-Mobile store for several years, and recently had to replace a damaged phone that was covered by T-Mobile's Asurion insurance program. Asurion provided a replacement phone promptly, and we took the new and the damaged phone into this location to have them assist and verify the transfer of numbers, data, photos, etc. We received excellent service from Kevin, Randy, and a newer associate, Monte. You have to wonder about those who complain that a T-Mobile location won't sell them a new hot (at the time) phone like an iPhone 5s from their own stock to use with another carrier. There's got to be a reason that the reviewer didn't or couldn't buy from their own carrier, and then to disparage T-Mobile for not selling it to them over T-Mobile's own customers - that is truly nuts. Don't trust those types of reviews or reviewers. read more

Jon and his colleagues were very helpful and knowledgeable. We were making a switch from a different carrier and Jon knew exactly what to do and when to call for assistance. He explained the whole process and it was seamless. Great customer service! read more

It's strange to review a particular T-mobile store, but I've only gone to this one and both times they confirmed why I like T-mobile. The first time they fixed my phone that I smashed to the ground. The guy glued the shattered casing together so it would play sound again. The second time I went to correct my social security number and also change my phone plan. Everything was done correctly and as soon I as got my Nokia N86 (which is not officially supported by any US providers) the internet worked along with everything else. read more

Daniel is the MOST AMAZING customer service rep EVER. He spent hours with my whole family as we switched from ATT to T-Mobile, with lots of complex issues and personal needs. He is knowledgeable, hard working, a creative troubleshooter, fun and kind. He definitely went the extra mile to make sure that we were all satisfied and all our questions were answered. Most excellent service. Couldn't imagine a better experience. Thank you, Daniel, for all your efforts to help us become a T-Mobile family. read more

The staff and the manager (Sarah) were SO amazing and helpful. We had to switch from Sprint, and they spent time with us one on one to get everything taken care of quickly. No hidden fees or anything, very up front about what you're getting! T-Mobile Customer Service did a fantastic job! If you are having trouble, call 1-800-T-MOBILE (1-800-866-2453). If the Representative is unable to help, escalate to the supervisor. Remain calm, don't blame, and clearly explain your side BRIEFLY. Tell them what you expect of them to make it right. Stay calm, don't get mad and keep trying to work it out. If that fails, write a letter to the CEO directly and explain. The problem WILL be resolved and T-Mobile will bend over backwards to make it right! Here's an example you can use as a template. Remember to send a thank-you note to the CEO. They will keep working hard to keep our business if we do these things! ------------------------------------------------------------ Mr. John Legere, CEO T-Mobile Corporation 12920 SE 38th Street Bellevue, WA 98006 Mr. Legere, I wanted to provide written thanks to you & your employees that recently helped me with several problems. As customers, we are quick to complain but not always as quick compliment. I am trying to change that. Specifics: 1. Sending in payment for payoffs on the phones and T-Mobile applying it to services instead, then seeing phone monthly charges afterwards; 2. The 1st specialist unable to fix #1, and order a new phone because we missed Tech Support business hours while talking; 3. Explaining the issues to the next specialist that talked constantly instead of working. Your supervisor took the complaints in stride and offered a nice gift to compensate me for my time. It confirmed that T-Mobile is sincere about fixing issues and I appreciate it very much. Please thank Brendan, Supervisor with ID number 23139 for erasing the issues completely and confirming I am with the right carrier. I am posting this note on Facebook, Yelp and the T-Mobile forums to spread the word. Thanks once again and keep up the great work! Jeff T. The staff here either don't understand T-Mobile's data plans, or they deliberately misrepresented them to get me to buy a more expensive plan. I came to the store to switch from ATT to T-Mobile because I wanted to be able to do tethering (sharing the phone's data connection with other devices through wifi). The sales people at this store swore that all plans limited the amount of tethering to 500MB, saying that even if you had a plan where you got 2.5GB of data, you could only use 500MB of it for tethering. They offered to sell me a more expensive plan that included no tethering, and add multiple tethering packages, for additional cost. Their statements were simply wrong, according to both T-Mobile's customer service phone rep, and the staff at the T-Mobile store in downtown Seattle. It's troubling that I can't trust my neighborhood store to provide accurate information. read more

T-mobile as a phone company is completely horrible. I would never sign a contract with them again if my life depended on it. Since I joined them, I have not been able to make a call more than 3 minutes without it dropping assuming that it went through at all. Do not even think about joining t-mobile. I would not recommend it to my worst enemy. read more

When I used my data allowed on my Tmobile hotspot my connection to the Internet throttled back so slow I cannot access the Internet at all. T-Mobile after 6 calls told me I would just have to wait until my plan reset later this month unless I wanted to spend more money for more data. I was told when I purchased the device it would slow down after my data use was exceeded but not that it would stop functioning altogether. Beware! read more

HUGE HASSLE. Terrible experience. Shopped around for a smart phone, decided on getting the Samsung Exhibit. The store rep was helpful and efficient and I walked out happy with my new phone. BUT, the new phone was a lemon. didn't work at all. never connected to the internet. Took it back, the next morning and they were seemingly helpful, explaining it was a hardware glitch but and replacing my phone. BUT it still didn't work. The thing still wouldn't connected to the network. Brought it back AGAIN and spent an hour in store as they unsuccessfully trouble-shot network issues. Had to catch a flight and ran out of time. Three visits and countless hours in a t-mobile store wreaks havoc on one's patience. Returned the phone and went back to my old one. What really irks me is that they couldn't give me my old plan back so after all that hassle I walked out of the store with my old phone on a more expensive plan with less coverage, which I plan to ditch asap. After all that trouble they couldn't even cut me a deal to match my existing coverage!! I've been a t-mobile customer for nearly ten years without trouble, but after this experience I plan to leave as soon as possible. read more

This store's google maps page showed that they were open until eight, I showed up at 7:30 and the door was locked, and they didn't open it for me even though there were OTHER CUSTOMERS inside. Excellent customer service provided by Derek!! My husband recently purchased the ALC 5042T Pop Astro phone from the Wallingford location. After having issues with the internal memory (only 2GB of available internal memory and it's not expandable), we brought the phone back for an exchange. The particular model my husband was looking for wasn't in-stock at this location. Derek was really great to work with! My husband and I have a limited knowledge of smartphone technology and cell phone jargon. He communicated with us clearly and did not make us feel like idiots for not being tech savvy. He was super friendly, informative and helpful. He made several calls to other stores to locate the phone. He even offered to credit our account if we were charged a restocking fee! We will definitely be back! Derek is AWESOME!!! :-) read more

Michael N. is as good as can be. I needed a phone fast... and he delivered! Happy camper. Thanks so much!

This review is for T-mobile's prepaid rip-off service. I tried for several weeks to cancel my monthly recurring prepaid charges online, but the link was broken and generated an error. I called T-mobile repeatedly to only be told that the only way to cancel my service was online - via the broken link. So I visited the T-Mobile location in Wallingford, where the manager spent over an hour on the phone with account services to try to get my monthly recurring payments turned off. At the end of that torture session she assured me my account was closed and they were issuing a refund for the previous month. A month passed, they issued no refund, and they charged my account again, for the service I was not using. By this time they had finally fixed their online link, so I promptly and finally canceled my account successfully. I called T-Mobile and they informed me they would issue me a refund for the previous two months (for which I had used zero data). Another month has passed, and they have issued no refund. I called T-Mobile and the supervisor told me that their records indicate the previous two calls ended with representatives telling me there are no refunds. This is patently not true. One of those calls was actually between T-Mobile's service representatives and their own location manager (Tiffany at Wallingford.) The supervisor read some script about not giving refunds an hung up on me. T-Mobile just took the heavyweight belt from Comcast for the most awful, scamming, lack of integrity "service" of any utility. read more

Just upgraded from a 5-year old Razr phone to a MyTouch 4G, and wanted to give props to Jonathan for great customer service. I recently visited this store and was SO VERY impressed with the superior customer service I received from both Brandon and Montaque. I had recently made a huge judgement error and had left T-Mobile to go with another carrier (to help out a family friend). This was a big, no HUGE mistake. As fast as I could, I quickly moved back over to TMobile! I called in at this TMobile store to ask some questions about the phones that this store carried and Brandon spent 20 minutes on the phone with me, answering all my questions and being very helpful. I then went over to the store and Brandon and Montaque both worked with me to find the right phone to meet my needs. Then they also were so kind and took the time to move my photos and transfer all my contacts to my new and wonderful TMobile phone! A heartfelt big thank you to Montaque and Brandon for really knowing what SUPERIOR customer service is! Thank you for making it so effortlessly easy to come back to TMobile, where I plan to stay! read more

I'm doing a review for my friend who is a tmobile customer. She was visiting me from Texas and while at pike place dropped her phone and broke it. Needless to say it wouldn't turn on and clearly she needed a new phone to get her through her last few days of vacation plus to get home on the airplane etc. So when we got there we were put on waiting list like normal but didn't have to wait more than 5 mins. Kristen was taking care of us and I would give her 10 out of 5 stars. She went above and beyond to help my friend get a replacement phone. She was able to give her a good replacement phone that she could return at at a Tmobile store back in Texas. The whole process probably took 30 mins or so but Kristen was so patient and understanding. Excellent customer service. I have Verizon as my carrier and have never experience customer service like that and would definitely consider tmobile if this is how they always treat their customers. What I'm trying to say is this location is highly recommended for phone issues. read more

Not sure where they got this Michael N guy but they should do what ever they can to keep him! He is highly intellectual, not only about phones, accessories but real world technologies. I bet this guy could scan your icons on your home screen and tell you your story. I've been to many other T-Mobile locations, heck I used to work for T-Mobile in California, and I find it important to be able to ask questions not only detailed about their network but also about phones outside their network and what they have to offer. I went in an got myself and my wife a new phones utilizing Jump and Binge. In no time I had my LG V10, and a rose gold iPhone for the wife. He did a great job detailing out all the bells and whistles of my new phone. Only thing, which is not his fault, they did not have a case for my phone. Oh well, its not like the old days of cellphone carriers, where you could talk them into a free one anyways ;-) read more

I think we can all acknowledge that T-Mobile does not have the best coverage area of the major providers. Nor do they have the best phones. So I arrived at the Wallingford location today after doing something pretty dumb - jumping in a pool with my phone in my board shorts. On top of that I have a big phone interview tomorrow so I needed to make sure I had something that worked. My contract runs out in December and at that point I want to be able to openly evaluate the best smart phone on the market and select it without dealing with the ridiculous termination fees all cellphone companies charge. So I explained my situation to the guy working there and he went out of his way to find the best phone for my (temporary) situation, got as much data as he could from my damaged phone, and set me up with a fair payment option. On top of that, he didn't give me a hard sell, he just provided me with a solution. Who knows where I will end up in December, but this example typifies the type of quality customer service I have always received from T-Mobile. read more

Check out #Tmobilelies on twitter before signing up. Don't believe the sales people. They will make promises that T-Mobile will not follow through on, and you as the customer will be stuck paying more than originally agreed on without much recourse. Totally unfair. #Tmobilelies. read more

Bought a mobile hot spot here a couple months ago. There was an online special at the time to save $20. I needed it in a hurry, so I couldn't wait to have it shipped. I mentioned the online special in the store to see if they could honor it even though I needed to pick up the device in person. They said they could do it, but could not discount the device, just credit my account, which I should see on the next bill. Well of course it did not happen, the company said I would have to go back to this store to get it straightened out, and when I did they said I was out of luck. The moral, I suppose, is get it in writing or it didn't happen. read more
