My abnormal EKG with a seriously abnormal PVC rhythm taken via iWatch4 {T-Mobile} with new software. Maybe T-Mobile saved my life? Thanks!
Paul M.

THANK YOU T-MOBILE PEOPLE at this store last night on 12/10/18...where two of your amazing employees went out of their way to help me set-up the new iWatch4 & help me download & set-up a few days old EKG app on the Watch & iPhone [also with my existing Cell & DIGITS plan]...WOW! Your employees are life savers! Fast forward to one day later...as in tonight..after work. I put on the watch after a stressful day at work & look at my post-work EKG....and Premature Ventricular Contractions are shockingly in abundance tonight on my new ECG enabled iWatch4 from T-Mobile! Yesterday, The SLO Apple Store did not have this past Friday's update yet & they refused to even help me! Fortunately, I notice an irregular heartbeat & palpitations a few days ago. I just thought that it a rare sporadic abnormal rhythm that I noticed about 15 years ago. Then I "broke" it with carotid massage & another technique after listening to it. Further work-up over a decade ago showed nothing. It seemed like a rare episode of benign Afib...maybe. On the other hand, this new PVC episode sometimes looks like Trigeminy PVC's. This is not good news....but it seems like between the new iWatch4 & EKG app, it maybe "saved" my life. The Watch sends the EKG strip to your iHealth phone app via Bluetooth & then you can send a professional looking EKG 30 sec strip to yourself, your MD, or whoever. The quality of the EKG is amazing. I surely know EKG since I first studied my Mom's Nursing EKG textbook before I was 12 years old. I then read Harrison's Text of medicine & later became an EKG Volunteer tech at Coney Island Hospital in NYC. Much later, I helped pioneer Intraoperative Evoked Potential monitoring at NYU Medical Center. Ironically, I much later needed that very same monitoring to help fuse my broken back much later in life to prevent getting paralyzed. I now benefit from my knowledge of current events, following tech & other news, & just plan dumb luck in using new advance tech to confirm that I have an abnormal heart beat...little did I know yesterday, that I would find such a serious abnormality, that so far, has lasted for hours. Anyway, while I am shocked that I found this & know what it is, I am also kind of shocked that the Watch is not programmed to recognize PVC's & can state that it is normal sinus rhythm... in error. Many MD reviewers [e.g. like S. Gupta] have worried about false positives with this...well this is a far more serious TRUE positive....along with many false negatives. It must be a simple matter to program the device to mimic at least what a basic "dumb" EKG machine can interpret. I suppose that then they would really have to get further FDA approval. In the wrong hands, I can see the dangers of this tech...no wonder that you have to check through all the disclaimers. Most youngsters or people who can understand the Tech, will likely not have abnormal EKG's. The oldsters like me, who really may need this watch's features may not bother with it...since it is both $500+ a plan. I surely need to follow-up with an EKG, a stress test, an Echo & likely more. I might need ablation of the site or it could be from damage from a so-called "silent MI". Anyway, it is amazing Tech....so if you at all suspect any problem with your heart, you may want to shell out for this. I had to pay about $500 bucks at the downtown SLO T-mobile store [where they did an amazing job helping me step up this new tech for over 1 hour...Bless them] & then $10 per month to link with my iPhone [which they also helped set me up with DIGITS & enabled linking my Cell number with my iWatch4. It even has a Dick Tracy type of cell service & also auto-sends your EKG results across your Condo to your iPhone to review later & then email if you like. Amazingly...tech has saved both me & my wife a number of times so far! I pray that it is nothing too serious. It is always something in this world. At least my other toys....like all my Alexa & Goggle devices have never scarred the hell out of me...so far. PVC's OMG! I really want to thank Apple for this watch in a way...but that Apple Store was total useless...they are far from Geniuses. They mistakenly told me that they could not update their old 4 software until doing it overnight sometime. They were at least 3 days late & seemed not to care when,or if they would have it updated. They made no effort to set-up a demo watch, nor bother to even try to set up a display watch. I have own most of their many products for over a decade & they fail this simple task. It is ironic that the people in T-Mobile did spend the time & had the compassion to help me. The Apple store's fail could have cost me my life...if I waited too long for them. With T-mobile's help & their iWatch4 with the new EKG software, tomorrow, I can walk into a Cardiologists office & show them several long EKG traces that document my problem....

The Worst decision ever When it comes to cell phones Purchases. This will. be my third day Outfront of their store. Trying to warn customers if Your phone or Sims card was taken out of You'r site in the store. You'r Sims card Is compromise and cloned? I'll just say right now It was probably one of their employees Or all of them? If You like to hit me up or come downTown. and ask me Why your new phone settings Change on There own If you're having the same problems I might be able to help and tell you what to look for Hopefully it's not too late for you In my case it's already? Out. There social security number credit card and passwords Just trying to get the owner of the store to come out and explain to me why This happened in his store hopefully the message won't get intercepted. I gotta give it a try See what happens story to be continue. Well I've been at the store all day. Actually? It's been 3 days. No owner to talk to? Give it somebody out in front of my store with a big sign like the With the one on my truck I would go out and see what the problem is and if there's something I could do to improve Customer relationships Right. It's pretty obvious to me that this is a family run business that doesn't sell phones. They have other things going on in the back room because I've been here 3 days. I haven't seen 1 person walk Walk out with a T-Mobile bag I assume that would Have a new phone There's family members there 8 hours a day I'm wondering how they support themselves unless they're at mystery T-Mobile owner probably Uncle or papa T Pretty sure nobody in the family's gonna spill the means. I'm about to cloning and the information stealing going on In the back room Also when I was out front I got a text from T-Mobile opened up the attachment. My phone started getting attacked and files started getting deleted. I'm pretty sure that was Them. I was gonna go small claims but I'm pretty sure they've got a few cases pending and when it gets too hot they'll just take All their inventory out of the store change the owner's name put it in LLC cover there butts start hacking in cloning again And nobody will be the wiser So I'm just hanging out as long as it takes to make sure. Nobody goes in there and let's them walk away with their Sims card. End up like me. My whole life was on that phone personal and so on and now a whole world can get to it just pay for it on the Dark web and weight for Me too slip Up and they'll be there As far as my brand new $2000 Samsung is nothing but a brick that I can only use for phone calls.

Don't go here.

Don't answer their phones during normal business hours. Service overall is poor. I would go elsewhere.

I called them up today because I was very motivated to buy a new phone TODAY. I asked the woman on…read morethe phone if they had a particular phone in stock. "No we don't." No attempt to find out what I might be looking for or if there was any other way she could help me or offer me another option. Just no. Me: Okay, thanks, um, bye? I was running errands and realized I was right by them so I popped in and asked a question related to an offer I had seen. Again, "No." Just no. There were no other customers. She didn't have any reason to think I was the same person who had called (like maybe something had offended her on the 1st call?) She was just standing there doing nothing but still couldn't be bothered to engage me and try to assist me or make a sale. Again, I wanted to buy a new phone TODAY. Something is wrong with this place. They REALLY don't want your business. What is this? A drug front? Kidding (not kidding?)! 4/6 Quick followup edit: I later called customer service and got a really great woman on the line who more than helped me. She gave me the inside scoop on getting an even better deal than I had been looking for. She was genuinely funny, and friendly, and helpful. This evening I made another call and got another amazing customer service agent. He was so funny and helpful! What is this - Opposite Day? If T-Mobile is trying to suck less than usual, they're doing a great job w/ their call center. But the franchises? I don't know what their story is but I was glad to not have to step foot into one of their stores again.

Came in today to make a bill payment. I was told that they didn't accept credit/debit cards ("cAsH…read moreOnLy"), which is flat out bullshit because I have paid my bill here before with my debit card. It would've been pointless to tell him this though because a) it wouldn't have changed anything and b) I wasn't interested in hearing any more nonsense.
