Cheers to Ivan and his manager who helped me today at around 430pm November 14. I had an issue with my sons phone. I felt like a valued customer. Ivan was very engaging and gave me the best customer service. I really appreciate being treated this way. They exceeded my expectations at this t mobile location. Today at 11am my 75year old dad went to this T-Mobile location looking for help to update his software because I could not figure it out at home it said he needed more storage and I didn't know how to do it. The young guy working at that time told my dad when he asked for help "You know you guys need to figure out how to work these phones yourself." HOW INSANE!!!! A PHONE STORE EMPLOYEE SAID THAT TO MY FATHER WHEN ASKING FOR HELP! This is your literal job. My dad was absolutely furious and it takes A LOT to get him to that level. There were 3 employees working and no other customers in the store besides my dad and nobody else could help . How useless, what are you guys paying them for? I couldn't believe it and that employee is very lucky I wasn't with my father because it would of been a scene. THE AUDACITY of that worker!!! If you don't like your job quit. This review is based on two recent experiences, the last one just an hour ago. I'm aware that among T-mobile stores the quality of service varies a lot, and that by just walking a couple of blocks you can be given the total opposite answers to the same problem. My situations were: 1. Last month I wanted to add a new line to my family plan. I tried initially over the phone and my request was denied due to my account being too young (they claimed some weird anti-fraud policy). To my surprise, I went to the store and it worked. Only problem: they put the wrong data plan on that line (which affected two billing cycles already). After a few calls it all seems to be resolved. 2. On another account, a SIM card was lost, while I had another card that was disabled two months ago, so it made sense to avoid paying $15+taxes for a new one. Some online forums (also hosted by T-mobile) claimed it was possible as long as it hasn't been 90 days since deactivation. So to the store I went, just to be told (by more than one employee) that it was completely impossible, that I had to buy a new one. Not satisfied with their answer I tried the online chat and it worked. I can now use that account on the other SIM card. I admire T-mobile for their competitive family plans while offering (almost) global data, but they should give better training to people at the stores, or at least make sure they're aware of their limitations (as it's plausible that different channels enjoy different permissions, and maybe reactivating SIM cards is something stores can't do). read more

I came in one day to replace my phone that I had for way too long. I was greeted by Fred, one of the sales reps. I was covered in sweat and he went to get me an ice cold water. He was very friendly and went above and beyond to help me. He was very kind. He took me around to view the number of popular phones on the market and described the best features of each phone. Of course, I asked for his preference and he recommended the Samsung Galaxy s7 Edge that I was leaning towards anyways. He even showed me that he had the same phone so I was sold. As he was getting me all set up with my phone (& free tablet), I watched the other employees too. They did not stay behind the desks, the employees would approach others and ask if they were being help or needed any assistance. Overall this is a great T-mobile location to go to. I was in and out in no time! Fred and all the other employees are very friendly and seem to really enjoy what they are doing. If I need to switch my phone in the future, then this will definitely be the location that I will walk into. read more

I dont write very much on those reviews. few things you need to know when you go to this Tmobile location. Dont ever deal with Marc (white dude with annoying voice). He will try to sell you stuff you dont need, he wont tell you you might be better with this or other plan.....he will tell you you NEED this plan because....and if not he will make you sign a waver that you didnt accept the better plan (what kind of bull is that?) He will try to make you feel stupid but please dont be intimidated by him. Just when you go to this Tmobile make sure you know which plan you want and what Tmobile offers ,because you simply will be lied to. Plus the black girl dancing behind the counter makes this place look ghetto. I gave this place two stars because I ended up finishing my deal with Diony, probably one of few people in that location who have any genuity for the costumers. read more

Great store, clean and organized,the staff members are super helpful. Fred, is who I dealt with the last I was there, he is very proficient at what he does, well mannered soft spoken so not everyone hears personal information as I've had experience at other stores. Parking sucks in the area but great location for public transportation user's. read more

Don't go to this T-Mobile. The manager wasn't any help and the rest of them just mislead you, give you the run around and apparently, they don't know what they're talking about. Kenneth the sales rep is a con artist. Please do not go to this store unless you want to get scam. I was getting ready to open up a phone plan with T mobile and for some odd reason they told me that they didn't have the phone I wanted and I will have to wait till they ordered it for me. Then I asked if other t mobile offices have it and the nerve of them said "all of Brooklyn don't have it". Really all of Brooklyn and this was coming from the manager. No I don't think so, so I quickly told Kenneth to stop putting our info in the computer and I had my boyfriend called and confirmed it. Well guess what another t mobile nearby had it. That wasn't even the best part. Soon afterward Kenneth came out and said oh look we have the phone that you want. Seriously you and your colleagues originally told me you didn't have it and now you do. Totally scammers. Don't believe these sales reps. They also mentioned that they couldn't give us a NYC worker employee discount and we have to apply it online but guess again apparently they can do it, but it is just more work on their end to do it for you. They are too lazy to do the extra paper work. I went to another t mobile store and they helped us out. If you truly want good service and honestly people you should go to 6033 myrtle Ave and look for Carlos or Fiona. They will truly help you without any false pretenses. read more

4.10 i had gone to t-mobile to change my phone plan from att. I just wanted to say Steve and Jeffery were very helpful. There was some transfer issues with my iPhone but it turned out OK but the guys were very nice and the service there is great. read more
