Initially, I made a mistake common of many folks, going to a kiosk labeled "Verizon" without realizing that it was an "authorized retailer" designed to siphon just a little more cash out of you on top of the usual. After initially being very nice, many phones were not in stock, and added services (insurance, data transfer) were added essentially without consulting me. After I realized what was occurring (namely the data transfer) I asked them to stop because it wasn't necessary (all of my data is already in the cloud and I can add apps like any brainless idiot without paying 30 dollars). Other charges were added to my bill that I did not realize until I contacted Verizon. Finally, they often do not have sales which match or are the same as regular Verizon stores. So, next time you need to go to "the verizon store" make sure you find a real one and not this garbage store.

I was sent here by assurant after damaging my 15pro screen. They replaced the screen and the tech who did it was unable to calibrate the screen and was not comfortable with removing it so he had to recruit another tech with more tenure to remove the screen for a second time. This second removal caused a damage from the bottom of the screen. So they hand me my phone with a lit screen but by the next morning at the bottom was a black spot. By the evening the spot grew and I brought it back to the store per assurant's instruction. The tech I met when I returned lied to my face. She acknowledged the damage and that it happened during the repair. She then claims there's no 15pro screens in stock and says she's ordering me one and noting this, so they will call me when it comes in. Guess what? She didn't order a screen, she didn't note any of the interaction, she just avoided repairing the phone and sent me off. I call them after a few days and she answers and says to come in because they're slow and they have the screens in.... so I go in and spend an hour with these people discussing how it isnt there fault. There was so much effort put into avoiding repairing their mistake it was incredible. The Employees were all clueless as to the repair, there were no notes or documentation on their end and even their manager whom I spoke to through an employee's cell phone, was trying to blame me and avoid repairing the phone. If this was the case why was I not told this a week ago when I brought it back after the initial repair was defective? And why was I not contacted when the replacement came in? I imagine it's because this location is being managed by a lazy person who has recruited a team of lazy people that will do only the bare minimum to remain open. 0/10 I wish I could give a negative star count.

Tons of items to choose from at this clean location. The staff was REALLY helpful and attentive. That experience makes me want to come back for all my battery and bulb needs. She took my sample and quickly found the bulb I needed. She checked me out and I would on my way in less then 5-10 minutes. I'm really happy about the service as I've tried to find this bulb in larger chains and had issues. I ended up picking up an extra but I know where to go if I need another one. I visited the Verizon store at 9th and Walnut 2 days ago to exchange my old IPhone XR in for a new…read morephone. My IPhone XR was dying a quick death, and I needed a new phone before traveling. This was hands down the worst experience I've had in any Verizon store. The store at 15th and Chestnut next to the Cheesecake Factory is consistently knowledgeable, professional, and transparent throughout each transaction. This store is the opposite, and I now regret not going to the Verizon store on 15th. I now have a new IPhone 16e that works great - but I also have an increased monthly mobile bill, which inexplicably increased by $30+. The customer service rep who helped me lied to me and told me that I needed to purchase 7 months of new phone protection from Verizon. I came to find out via a phone call with a Verizon rep just yesterday that this is not true. The Verizon rep removed the charge for the insurance. Also during yesterday's call with the Verizon rep, I was informed that the customer service rep at the 9th and Walnut store changed my plan - giving me a more expensive plan without informing me that he did this and without my permission. I am now seemingly stuck with this $30+ increase to my bill. My bill went from a very affordable $57/month to nearly $100. I cannot afford this increase, and the Verizon phone rep who I spoke with yesterday is unable to reverse the phone plan to my original phone plan. My bill is now both unaffordable and a mess. I've spent the past 2 days and a total of 3 hours on the phone with 5 different Verizon reps trying to get this all sorted out - on top of checking my Chase credit card bill statement and learning that the Verizon 9th and Walnut customer service rep also charged me $265.62 without providing me with an itemized receipt or explanation of charges. Verizon also does not have a copy of this receipt and could not help me with this issue due to the lack of receipt in their system. This charge is still pending, and I will be disputing it with Chase once it posts. Avoid the Verizon store at 9th and Walnut at all cost. Its only intention is to rip off its customers.

That he had to live there for 65 days but can not give that in writing. I am very disappointed with Verizon.
