I went into the Flourtown store today for a servicing issue. Bernard helped me. He was terrific. After reviewing my options, I decided it would be best to get a new phone-- mine was over 2 years old. Bernard set it up for me, wiped my old phone and even packaged it up for me to send back. He offered to help me with any servicing issues I may have going forward. I would highly recommend him. Everyone at Verizon is misinformed and everyone has different information. Then you have to pay the cost for their misinformation. There are different varieties of stores: corporate, authorized retailer and something like agent. They don't all communicate with each other and they all have different information. The "authorized agent" in flourtown told me that there would be a $70 restocking fee if I tried out my new pixel 7 and wanted to return it but that the $70 would go towards my new phone if I swapped it. I walked away with a pixel 7 because I thought that it would not cost me anything to try it out for a couple days. And that was what the salesman had me believe. When I realized the pixel 7 was way too big for my small hands and that I would need two hands just.to unlock it each time, and that the fingerprint sensor did not work, I needed to return it. The people at the flourtown store said that the first guy had been incorrect, that the $70 would go down the drain. So I had to pay $70 for no reason because of his bad information. If I were a self-respecting company, I would tell the customer that we're so sorry they were given incorrect information and I would foot the bill for my company's mistake. This is how you treat customers who have been with you for over 15 years? See you later, verizon. Time to try a different company. read more

I have always had excellent service getting my phones here but this time it was even better. Bobby (with the bald head:) could not have been nicer or more helpful. I'm not great with technology so he set everything up for me, transferred everything and he hand wrote a list of things I needed to do once I got home to back up my phone and make sure I had all my updates. Buyer beware! My daughter went there in February SOLELY to buy a new iphone with her father. They wanted nothing else. Neither of them are listed as account holders. They thought that the $616 that they paid by credit card was for the new iPhone. The sales rep (Britt) told them that Verizon had a special on "free iPads." Without the account-holder's authorization, Britt added a new line to our account for the "free iPad," (costing $20 a month). Out of the $616 charged to the credit card, $410 was for the cost of the "free iPad" and only $120 was put down for the new phone. The rest was for transaction fees and a $50 screen protector that is about $10 on Amazon Britt was no longer working when I went back in. A very nice salesperson named Will spent almost two hours undoing the transaction (we returned the "free iPad," and eventually the extra line was disconnected). We now have to wait 30 days to pay off the phone. Incredibly, neither account holder signed off on any of the initial paperwork. This is unacceptable. People in our community deserve better. read more

Unethical selling practices and rude customer service. I went in to purchase an iPhone and the sales associate was upselling a liquid glass screen protector I'd never heard of. He said it was a new technology and that it came with a warranty and was eager to apply it to my screen. He also told me he'd give me a discount on the phone case I was also buying and never followed through. I contacted Cellular Sales after my phone screen shattered because I researched the warranty and product reviews and found out I was scammed (Verizon does not sell this product in its own stores and both Apple and Verizon customer service also thought the product and its warranty were misleading). I simply wanted reimbursement for the screen repair. Jennifer from Cellular Sales proceeded to tell me they could not help me because they were "unsure of my intentions" when purchasing the product. Now I'm really not sure what kind of intentions I could have possibly had when all I did was purchase a product I never knew existed that was pushed onto me by their employee. It was clear they did not want to own up to their fraudulent business practices and could not think of any reason to deny me. When I asked Jennifer for contact information for anyone else I could speak with, she simply declined and she hung up on me. I have not heard from anybody since. read more

Went here Saturday to switch from Sprint to Verizon for cell service. Ian @ Cellular Sales had ordered us a new iPhone and then we were bringing one phone with us. He searched and was able to stack promo upon promo for our new plan, giving us more discounts and more data than we ever had with Sprint. Verizon is even covering our early lease termination on a Sprint phone. Even with the complicated task of moving a Nexus 6P from Sprint to Verizon Ian figured out an "official-unofficial" way of getting it done. If you have Verizon and need additional services, or are contemplating a switch, I highly (HIGHLY) recommend this location! read more
