Thirty minute wait For zip in the way of help…read moreHella, hella lame This one star review is only for this particular brick and mortar Verizon location. Verizon as a whole is probably five stars for me. I've had both T-Mobile and Sprint in the past. By far, Verizon has the best coverage and fewest dropped calls of any of these networks. Getting on the family plan with Verizon has also been a really good deal. Saving about 15 bucks a month by switching from Sprint to Verizon. I no longer get unlimited minutes and data, but I have only had one month where I came close to the limit. For the past several months, I have had trouble charging my cell phone. The charger cord would not stay connected to my phone without propping it against the wall with something heavy on the other side. Never had this problem in the past. Finally got around to bringing it in to my local Verizon today. There were four other customers in line in front of me. Only two employees in the store. Far too much chit chatting and unsolicited sales pitches when there were other customers who were waiting in line. Perhaps the employees at the stores are primarily sales people, but they should at least know some basic troubleshooting. One of the ladies in front of me was unable to access her voice mail messages. They fixed this problem in about 15 minutes. Once it came my turn, explained my problem to the employee. She took a cursory glance at my phone and said the charging port on it was corroded. Whaaat? I have no idea how my phone could have become corroded in 19 months. She said I could bring it to the Har Mar store where I bought it, but they could probably not do anything for me unless I had purchased insurance and was within the 12 month policy limit. Told me that I would probably have to get a new phone. Decided it was time to put on my Inspector Gadget hat. The solution was as simple as finding the right tool and two minutes of labor. Took a needle and cleaned out the charging port. There was a ton of crud in there, but no corrosion so far as I can tell. Problem solved! Works great now. Maybe I should be embarrassed at my lack of technological savvy, but you think this would be a problem that the Verizon employees could diagnose relatively quickly (even if they are primarily wearing a sales hat).

When I went in and told them I could upgrade phones at AT&T with 4 lines and iPhone 8s for less then $200 with three lines . The guy at the counter didn't even call customer service to see what could be done . He told us to come back around Christmas when they had deals. Are you kidding me ?? Then I said I was switching to AT&T and he said ok . Very very disappointed you lost a family of loyal customers today

This week, I went in to this location planning to purchase a new phone. I didn't want to adjust my…read moreplan or do anything else; I just wanted to buy a phone and I knew I was going to pay full retail and was okay with that. The rep helping me, needed manager assistance. Enter Alyx. Alyx came out and insisted on chatting with me about my plan before helping me buy a phone. This was very frustrating to me; although, I do feel she was genuinely trying to improve my plan, service, and experience. She made some good points so ultimately, I left, without a phone, to do more research on the plan change recommendations. I figured out what plan change I wanted to make and went back in the next day. I started working with someone else, who was able to make the plan changes I requested (although she was not engaged or friendly). Then, when I finally got to the one thing I came in for - buying a new phone! - the new rep recommended I go to Apple to buy the phone. I almost exploded inside. I just wanted to buy a phone at full price, and I couldn't understand why they keep 'strongly' encouraging me away from this. After a few minutes with this rep, who seemed to be uninterested in our conversation, I was about to leave in shock that for a second day I was leaving without a new phone. Seconds before I got up, Alyx, the manager from the day before came over and asked how things were going (she had been helping someone else when I walked in). I explained the situation and she immediately started doing what she did the night before - looking up options to make it work. Long story short, I did leave that second day with a new phone and a new plan that I feel good about. This was the most frustrating experience I've had buying a new phone; however, in the end, I am grateful for Alyx. Her persistence, knowledge, and genuine concern for getting me to a better plan/service was what lead to me getting the phone I came in for and ending this transaction in a better situation than when I entered, even though I tried to push back the first day. In the past, reps would just sell me the phone, which was great for the moment. But Alyx wasn't just considering the moment; she was looking out for me in the longer term. She took the time to sit down with me, explain what I needed to know (even though I didn't want to hear it). She pushed back when I tried to be firm and just buy the phone, and she kept listening and searching to find the best solution for me. Although, I was initially annoyed by this experience, in the end, I am better off and it is because of Alyx not just doing what I asked, but doing what was better for me as a long-term Verizon customer. She cared and was professional and friendly and I appreciate her help. If I only dealt with Alyx, I'd give 5 stars. I am giving 4 because not everyone at This store is like Alyx. Even the rep on day 2 was not going to attempt looking for a solution for me and instead was going to let me walk out, frustrated and upset, to go buy a phone elsewhere. I love Verizon overall, and I hope they fill all their stores with people like Alyx.

To start off this location is awesome very efficient and very personable staff!! Can you get a new phone and a new plan switched over from AT&T you know it's never going to be easy and they made my experience as effortless as possible. Working with Gigi, there were some small hiccups. She was extremely Patient ! Helped every way possible and resolved every obstacle that we had to face. Even towards the end when I almost had the phone in my hand, it was accidentally shipped to my house. So I had to wait a few days. She went above and beyond to take care of me and make everything right! Really appreciate her customer service and I would definitely recommend going to this location and trying to work with her. Thank you again for your patience! As it is a process to go from one carrier to another and transfer your phone number! Also, my service is way better than AT&T in Minnesota......

This is the summary of my two (and only) experiences at this store…read more.. 2 STARS!!! My first Apple Store visit was LAME. I should have known better. I'm a 60 year old dude, probably 20 years behind in tech. I'm a caveman. My only Apple product is a used iPhone SE I got from my elderly mother 2 months ago. She lost it under her recliner, she got a new one, she found the old one, she gave the old one to me, and neither one of us even registered it with Apple. Get the picture? My business partner inspired me to dive into Apple products and to give them a chance. So I decided to drive to the Apple Store at Rosedale, alive and IRL, with $2000 cash to buy the newest iMac in vibrant peachy orange! I also got a wireless mouse, a matching full sized wireless keyboard, yada, yada, yada. What could go wrong? Right? My simple purchase turned into a 3 hour long nightmare. I was actually there for nearly two hours after closing, in a dark empty mall. Apple doesn't take cash payments for their stuff. But they magically take cash for gift cards. So it was my cash...converted to several gift cards...used for my iMac payment. Easy, right? No, not for the great and mighty Apple Corporation. The transaction failed with an immediate halt. And it took geniuses and managers 3 hours to figure it out. Sad. Only Apple could completely fail and turn a simple 5 minute cash transaction into a 3 hour long nightmare. What a joke. To add insult to injury, they kept asking me for my Apple ID. How many times do I have to tell them? I have NO Apple ID yet! I'm a brand new Apple customer. Get it? But no - no they did NOT get it. No comprende, amigos and amigas. Like watching paint dry...I observed multiple managers scratching their heads, lots of honchos in frantic conversations, geniuses rubbing their temples, multiple calls to Apple corporate HQ in CALI, I heard comments hinting at lots of weird corporate obstructions, I made a couple threats to cancel & demand my cash, I got bribes of free items to lure me into not to giving up...etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. I would have preferred to be water boarded. But I'm a stubborn Scotsman...embrace the suck, hold fast til the end. I'm down for the pain. What is the stupid bottom line summary, you ask? After 3 hours...when added up...the cards were 53 dollars short for my purchases. So my transaction failed. I just had to hand them an extra Ben Franklin hundo. Dumb. 4 STARS!!! My second Apple Store experience was GOOD. I was having some basic issues with my "new" used phone. My assigned genius got to me immediately -- no wait. And he was awesome. He helped me reconcile multiple Apple IDs (it's a long story), he gave me the skinny on apps, he helped me cleanup some silliness on my phone, and he answered several of my idiotic newbie questions. BTW, I have to acknowledge and salute the Hipsters, I counted at least 3 man buns on premises at Apple. I spied them in northern CALI trendy spots about 10 years ago. At the time, I predicted they'd migrate East and appear on the crowns of Minnesota Hipsters in 10 years. And I WAS RIGHT! I saw 3 in one day at Apple! I saw a genius wearing a kilt too. That one warmed my heart. Thanks, Apple! You redeemed yourself. I promise to never pay for an Apple product with a United States of America paper note, "legal tender for all debts, public and private", ever ever ever again. I guess Apple sets U.S. monetary policy now. Do I get to vote for the CEO? All hail Apple, I guess.
