To make matters worse, nobody informed me upfront that the replacement battery would not be a genuine Apple battery. This information was only buried in the fine-print disclaimer, which was not easy to notice or understand. The staff should clearly explain to customers before starting any work that an Apple battery will not be used and make sure the customer agrees. Damaging my phone during a battery replacement and failing to clearly disclose the use of non-Apple parts is completely unacceptable. Very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this service.

This was due to overly charging the battery. Zuly, a phone tech assistant, informed me that due to safety issues, I needed to have it fixed immediately. Upon her further inspection, she told me that Fix My Phone could most likely fix my phone. Zuly evaluated the phone and ordered a battery immediately. All of this was done on a Friday, and the phone was ready the following Monday! The phone is now operating as if it were a brand new phone! I could not believe the results. Fix My Phone (Gaithersburg) saved me time and the purchase of a new phone, and I was totally blown away with the professionalism and expertise of its staff. I cannot say enough good things about this particular phone repair experience. Parking is severely limited in the direct area but the plaza has many shopping options. I'd suggest parking in an open area as some people were posted in areas that lend to unfortunate circumstances for the unaware.
