My mother went into this store to get a first responder discount renewed since my dad is a retired police officer. The spring Grove location told her she would have to cancel her account AMD reopen the account under my Dads name. She had never had to do this in the past and she had the discount on her account but it needed to be renewed. What these asses did was force my mom to open a new account closing hers the phones she had on her account had a buy one get one free a while back that she took advantage of. When they reopened the account to get this discount she was billed $2200.00 for the phones she already paid for on her account and they talked her into giving a credit card to get an additional discount. T-Mobile then charged her card for the $2200. She went back and forth with the store and they never got her resolution. Come to find out the first responder discount was never applied. Found out later this store gets credit for new lines of service this was the motivator I believe to change her account to get that sale. Stay away from this store the are shady and are only looking out for themselves. Not only is my mom the primary caregiver to my father who has COPD, Afib, prostate cancer and a brittle diabetic. He was in ICU for most of this fight to get her account back to what she had and was told they could not. They did issue a very small credit foe one of the phones that they charged again. They pit the credit on her original account and since it was now closed she could not get access to it after many trips to the store to get resolution it was the same story. She contacted the customer service and they did get the credit moved but they would mot refund for the phones she had already played for on her account. I would understand if she got new phones under the new Account but she kept the ones she had for the past 2 years. Let me tell you about my Experience with T-Mobile store Il Fox Lake and the stores manager. I was with ATT since 1990. Their service used to be good, but in the last few years they have changed. This being said we decided to stop into the T Mobile in Fox Lake. From the moment we walked in the door. The manager Nick couldn't have been nicer. we explained to him the problem we were having with ATT. He had a total knowledge of all of T Mobile phones and packages. He made switching over to T Mobile a painless process. Both my wife and I got brand new IPhones. A couple months later we switched over to T Mobile's internet service. When we first walked into the Fox Lake store. We really didn't intend on switching service or getting new phones, but after talking to Nick for a couple of minutes. We knew this was the company we wanted to be with! Also any time I've had a question. Nick or a member of his staff was more than willing to help us out. read more

Went in to get so to a charge on account was messed up and customer service call in was no help. Alex and Caitlyn called customer service and fixed all my problems on even after customer service gave them a run around. All said and done they made sure I was happy and my concerns were addressed. read more

Went to get my wife's Motorola phone looked at. We got this phone from T-mobile 3 months ago and now it lost 5G. The T-mobile rep put in a new SIM and told me it will be a few hours until it get re provisioned and I should leave and it will auto update and be good in a few hours. I showed him we can force refresh the provisioning on the phone via setting and that it still had an issue. The T-mobile rep took a long time to look at it then told me it was the antenna and he will order a replacement for $20, and that I will need to pick it up in a few days. I asked why I needed to pay $20 for a phone that t-mobile gave me (Which I am still paying for) that clearly has a manufacture issue? and he said its he is the manager of the store and that this is T-mobile policy. He was very rude and dismissive when I asked why he told me it was the SIM then told me it was the device itself? when I left the store, I contacted Motorola and they told me there is a know software bug on this device they are aware of, and will send me a software security patch directly to my phone based on my phone SN that will fix this issue. No need to replace the phone. No need to pay $20 to T-mobile. - Shame on this manager for such a poor customer service and for being so rude to paying customers. read more

Last weekend I went into the store in Fox Lake, IL and Jessie (Jesus) greeted us. However, that was the only time he gave us his undivided attention. During our visit, he was preoccupied with everyone around him, making other phone calls, complaining about the t-mobile computer system, and having conversations with other T-Mobile employees. He was very inattentive and wasn't doing anything to assist us. So, I asked Vhince to take over, since Jessie was preoccupied with everything else but us. Since this location is where I purchased my phones and placed them into service, the manager is helping to correct the issue. He goes above and beyond to help his customers. I went into the Fox Lake, IL store - S Route 12 & Haritgan - on Sun, 1/21/2018 because I needed to get a sim card and switch over to a new device. I was helped by both Kevin and Vhince, who gave some of the best service I've ever had with T-mobile and, in general! They were both super helpful and knowledgeable about the devices I was switching from & to and were able to recommend exactly what I would need. I was told the POS system was down and they may not be able to do the transaction, which was a disappointment initially. BUT, they worked together and were able to work around it! They managed to activate my SIM card and help me change over the data from 1 phone to the new phone, even while all the systems were down. Kevin was especially helpful with getting all of my data transferred over. I was going from a Samsung to a Nexus, so we needed a couple different apps to pull my call log and text messages, as well as my photos and my apps. It took about an hour for the whole process, but it was very pleasant and I would highly recommend them anytime you need help with a new phone or switching your device. read more

I went to the Antioch T-Mobile location at first because that's closest to my house and they were friendly but unfortunately did not have the iPhone I wanted so I called the Fox lake location since I was heading that way anyways and I'm sooo glad I did ! Honestly if I would of known this place has A+ customer service then I would of skipped Antioch and came straight here !! I walked in having the iPhone 6s and knew I wanted to upgrade to one of the new iPhones that came out but to my surprise I had not had as much knowledge about the newer phones as I thought I did ... Dylan one of the workers there gave me one of the most informative pleasant and friendly experiences about a product I haven't had in a long time! I honestly learned so much from him and felt he was really genuine and honest about the products. Thank you for your help Dylan! You made the transition a little easier considering the newer iPhones have no more home button or aux :( read more
