Finding the store front along an outdoor walkway in Alderwood Mall was streamlined. Music outside the entrance/exit helped set an upbeat vibe upon entry/exit. Upon entry to the store I was greeted by a friendly worker. Music played quietly for the duration of my visit and I was not interrupted by other patrons nor workers while looking at the devices. After entry, I made my way to the computers area to look at what was on display. Desktop options were on display with corresponding keyboard and computer mouse technology. Laptops were on display by make (Air and Pro). Each make had varied laptops on display to highlight different size screens and different finishes (silver/metal and black). Clicking on the trackpad awakened the device and basic features were available to access/explore. I found my experience on the whole to be welcoming.

I just got a new phone & I'm on the prepaid plan. e-SIM didn't work so i couldn't transfer my phone number over from home. I went to this T-Mobile location to get a QR code & was told by the associate manager (AM) that since I was on the prepaid plan, she couldn't help me & I needed to call customer service. I mentioned to her that I lived in a bad cell service area, and if I could make the call from inside the store. She told me that I could go outside instead and make the call from my car. I looked around... We were the only ones here and I was the only one who had my mask on. Maybe she could still smell my coffee breath? So, e-SIM didn't work, going into the store didn't work, and now I can't make the call from inside the store? Guess the store is here to just look pretty? Anyway, I told her this should be feedback to corporate about the inefficiencies of this process. And I was fed back with "I can only do so much". Inspiring attitude... worthy of a TED talk! Said no one in the empty T-Mobile store. So I got into my car called T-Mobile Customer Service & explained my issue. The rep was baffled on why I couldn't make the call from inside the store, because I needed Wi-Fi to get my phone # activated on my new phone. So reluctantly, I went back into the store again, AM told the other employee to come out with her.. guess it takes 3 T-Mobile reps now... or she needed the muscle, or it was my coffee breath from behind my mask... not sure. But the 3rd employee was asking me why I was on the prepaid plan. I guess my answer didn't please her, because she just stared at me... no smile, not even moving.., nothing. It was like watching a system freeze in front of me... I thought I broke her! AM even said nothing could really beat my plan, but then she tried to sell me on upgrading to the international plan. Talked about how I could do free messaging, payment plan would be all set up, etc.... I guess wearing makeup makes me look well-traveled? It was sooo awkward being in there & at that point, I thought I would rather get my eyelashes plucked than spend any more time in that store with these two employees. The catitide (cat + attitude) unfriendly customer service, certain tech skills that were lacking (which can be easily forgiven, had the experience been more pleasant) made this store trip strange & uncomfortable.... I'll drive the extra miles and go to the one in Shoreline next time!

Upon entry to the store, I was greeted by a friendly worker who said it was okay for me to look at the phones on display and helpfully directed me to where the Samsung Galaxy models and iPhone models were on display. My device at the time of the visit was an iPhone Xs that is still working well, so I was interested which models were closest to what I had. With Samsung, it turned out to be the Samsung Galaxy S25 and with the iPhone (15 thru 17 were on display) it turned out to be the iPhone 16e. Both were a little bit taller than my Xs and about the same width. The display set-up allowed me to pick each device up and look at the front and back. I preferred the single camera circle of the 16e to the three camera circles of the S25. The devices could also be explored operationally. Since I use my phone a fair amount for photos and videos, I explored the video/camera mode on each. I found the zoom to be ever so perceptibly slower with the Samsung than the iPhone, both were quick though. Prices for the different devices and different storage space capacities were communicated by each phone model I explored. All around I had an enjoyable experience and greatly appreciated being able to see/explore different phone options in-person.

She helped my aunts with transferring their number and getting them onto my account. Then she helped us all (me, my wife, and my 2 aunts) in getting smart watches, linking them up to the right phones, and never showed any frustrations or annoyances. Knocked it out of the park! I'll definitely go here as long as they're there.

The "district manager" Sebastian G then just lies to me and tells me my only 2 options are to come back the next day for the phone or pay out of pocket (upon calling asurion later he was supposed to tell me to call them to have the IMEI number fixed on their end, but it was close to their closing time and he did not want to stay late). So with no other option as I cannot leave my phone (literally dont know how to get home without it as I drove over 40 minutes to get here) I am strong armed into paying out of pocket. Now after weeks of run around with their parent insurance company assurion they found a solution where another claim could ve submitted which they would be reimbursed for and then I could be refunded as they would have essentially be paid. To this the "district manager" Sebastion said no because it would make a lot of paper work for him and apparently he was just too lazy to do extra work for a mistake his employee made (according to asurion they are not to do any work on a phone if the imei number doesnt match the one that is on the claim). So at the end of the day, 2 mistakes made by the company and no responsibility shown by the "district manager" Sebastian. At this point both them and Asurion are completely washing their hands of it and leaving me out the full amount of $491, which is ridiculous price to charge for a screen repair of a 5 year old phone but that is besides the point. The 2 receipts pictured will show that my correct IMEI number is on the receipt *after* I pay out of pocket (interesting how their system reads it right once I pay but not during the claim processs). Avoid at all costs and cancel your insurance with asurion, paid into it for over 5 years with no claims and when it finally comes time to pay out they find a way not to. Sebastian also lied when the work order was created to try and deny the time I dropped off (he claimed it was 4) but as you see on the receipt the work order was created at 11:46 am so it took them over 4 hours to *not* fix my phone. To further everything after finally having the insurance company get directly in contact with the store Sebastian lied about the events that transpired. Do not use Asurion and U break I fix, they are not consumer friendly and will not assist you in errors caused by either their own internal website or errors directly caused by their staff. imgur link to the photos since cant add them on yelp https://imgur.com/a/dfELhpE
