My mom and I came here today to upgrade our phones. It is a nice store and the employees were extremely helpful. We were able to sit down at a table and upgrade both our phones at the same time. The store is big and spacious. One of the employees Jackie was super helpful and so sweet. She sat with us and did all the transactions with our watches that we were getting and the cases. I live in SF, but my daughter and I came to the Corte Madera store in Town Center on Sunday. We had the best service ever! Being city girls, this location has a lot going for it. There is plenty of free safe parking and next to Philz coffee!!! We had outstanding customer service from John; Sang and Jackie. My wife and I had a great experience transitioning from Verizon (prices keep going up) to T-Mobile - all thanks to John S. Our iPhone 8's were beaten and battered and we were sick of the ever climbing Verizon bill - time for a change. We qualified for the 55+ rate, free Netflix, great trade-in and now we have two new iPhone 14 ProMax phones. John did all the work. If you look at my review history, I mostly write positive reviews. That said, this store sucks. It was the only T-mobile store I've been to where I didn't have to wait an hour, and there were three employees available. I was turned away without anyone even pulling up my account for an issue I've been trying to resolve for two months that I'd been on the phone working out all day. They said the service I needed was something the entire company "was no longer doing and it would be done automatically in a few months." I went to the San Rafael T-mobile and they handled it within 10 minutes. Little did the lazy (presumably) manager know, theirs was the fourth location I've been to in recent months trying to resolve the issue and the only completely unhelpful store I've been to. T-Mobile is the most corrupt and incompetent Internet and mobile phone provider in history! They be offered me an $830 discount for my trade of my iPhone XS for a new 15Pro and after I accepted the deal they "forgot" to include it in my contract. So instead of charging $11.41 per month they charge me $50 for the full price phone despite acknowledging they have the trade in. Each month a different supervisor reads the notes and agrees with me and makes me wait a day to a week to have it corrected. If the correct price is changed for that month the next month it is back to the $50 charge. I have spent at least 7 hours chatting and talking with "supervisors" who always tell me it is fixed with their apologies and the next month the overcharge returns. They are so subscriber unfriendly that they don't even allow for the chat messages to be sent to me. So while I have reports on them to the FTC and FCC the company still fails providing g a permanent payment plan that is correct. If you like anxiety and lies then by all means stick with them but if you prefer having an honest company working for you then leave them in the dust. They deserve to go bankrupt! read more

Yet another problem with a promotion. My friend is at the store trying to get unmade calls to 411credited back right now to his account. The customer service dispute line was only help the store could do was to tell him he had money left on his account but then the contradiction that he owed some $38 and change for many 411 calls not made from his phone account which was a promotion of a free phone and pre pay for two months. He ONLY had one month of service without the added trouble having now. The customer service team seemed to not know how to do much but support the fact that they said he called number 411 calls he does not have as a record. I think their record system is the downfall. The bills are never sent to customers.The customer service representative also is not helping much and it is obvious reason he is being ripped off. Terrible services f the call center customer service also. They are there to sell phones and collect money! That is all! No stars review. read more

Very unpleasant experience at this store. Had a reservation and showed up a bit early and wound up waiting 30 minutes until it was my turn. T-Mobile rep was not friendly, was a poor communicator and seemed completely disinterested in helping me. Over 20 minutes into our appointment and we were getting nowhere. I wound up leaving without even getting what I came in for. When I told the T-Mobile rep that I wasn't satisfied and was leaving, he sounded glad that I was going to explore other options. I had such a good experience with the T-Mobile rep on the phone who set up this appointment so it was a surprise how unprepared the in store rep was (didn't know anything the 1st rep supposedly set up for me) and what a different experience I had. I have used T-Mobile for many years . I have never had a problem until I dropped my phone and smashed it. I went in and asked if they replace the glass? They said no and that I needed tp purchase a new phone. I drive for LYFT and need to have a phone. My phone still works. But I took their word for it .The sales rep Julian was very aggressive like a used car salesman. He kept trying to sell me more products than I needed. Then he got angry when I said NO. When I got home my nephew texted me that I could of gotten new glass at the Mall. I went back the next day and they told me that they charge a $75.00 return fee. Clearly I was taken advantage of. I am sad as I am a stock holder. They used to be honest. They should of just told me to go to the Mall first. read more

While she was helping me, she also provided quick guidance to her colleagues, without losing attention on my requests. Even when my mask was not covering my nose, she politely and sweetly remind me of my own safety. Because my problem was caused by a Sprint representative, she decided to LEARN how Sprint does things, so that she could fix things from their end. Ms. J. He was able to help me add three more lines and avail all ongoing promotions. He also was able to help my friends pick their sim cards in different locations due to travel restrictions. NEVER GO HERE! EVER. Horrible- service, people, and experience. Last month went in for new service- worked with Cesar & Vanessa. All seemed great when we left store, only to find out after receiving email confirmation, that everything we were told was a lie. We cancelled in less then 24 hours by calling into customer service. Customer service was a joke as well. 4 people later - and we thought service was cancelled. Until today- we get an email bill for $270 to be auto withdrawn from our account. Another call back to customer service- 3 people later and we cancel for a second time. Due to Covid-19 and the BLM protests all over San Francisco, my partner and I made the 30 minute drive to this T-Mobile store where we were treated by the ever so sweet and polite, Jaleh. She helped me pick out my phone, case and protector and did it so quickly! Even though they didn't have my phone in stock, Jaleh was able to get my device mailed directly to my home in only two days! She even got me $300 off my cost of the device for trade in! Although I couldn't see it because her face was covered by a cute mask, I could hear the smile in her voice as she thanked me for coming in. I guess I was cranky when I went to Mobile today. For starters. I broke my phone and need it for work. Then I went to my usual location in Northgate Shopping Center and it was gone. So I had to drive south to Corte Madera. I found out they no longer do loaner phones and that I couldnt get a replacement phone til Tuesday. But I could pay $80 for a temp phone, which didn't make me happy and I got a little grumpy with the employees. They never lost their cool or got impatient with me. This review is for my salesperson who happened to be the store manager according to the badge he was wearing. Watch out for upselling. Was told a set-up fee couldn't be avoided even if buying online. Nope, not until November 15th. (T mobile gave me a refund which was really nice of them). I was also told that I must have the USBC adapter to charge my new phone, not true either. He also has a rude dismissive way about him and while I didn't trust him from the start, I needed a new phone so went with it. He did set up my new phone, but I'll have to go and return the adapter. All others I've interacted with at this store were really helpful and kind so just avoid the manager. read more

I had a really nice experience shopping at the Corte Madera T-Mobile store on Friday, June 1st. I was looking for a new bluetooth speaker and T-Mobile was on my list of stores to check out. I should first mention that this was the first time I've ever been in this store or any T-Mobile store for that matter. I was greeted right away by a sales person who guided me to the speaker section and went through the different ones they sell. Initially, I was looking for the Bose SoundLink Revolve but was introduced to the JBL LINK 20 by Kayla. I was not only impressed with the JBL speaker and how it sounded but her knowledge of it's capabilities. Needless to say, I walked out of the T-Mobile store with the JBL speaker and a great impression of T-Mobile. I would shop here again in a heartbeat. read more

Went here to get a new iPhone and their WiFi was down, you would think at a tech store you would make sure to always have reliable WiFi. So just to buy and set up a new phone took over an hour! I was the only customer in the store. The people were very rude. I tried to make polite small talk with them and they couldn't be bothered. I am a Supervisor for my company's Customer Service Department and I wish we had people like Vanessa and Cesar working for us! I came in a little before 7pm to ask about maybe switching from Verizon. They gave me a great run down of everything and I made the choice to switch then and there. We ran into some hic-ups getting my new phone going, but they were so patient and fun to hang with while we figured it out. I know we ended up staying way past closing (felt so bad!) getting everything set, but they never once made me feel rushed or like I put them out (which I am sure I did lol). Stopped at the store today just to request help in restoring the Contacts in my old Android cellphone. (My cellphone spontaneously drops its Contacts, every so often. Usually I can figure out how to restore the Contacts myself; however, today's problem was more difficult than any I'd seen before, and I couldn't solve it on my own.) WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I had the extreme displeasure of being "greeted" by Viviana at T-mobile Town Center Corte Madera today. No smile, no hello, no "how can I help you". I told her I had a one-month contract that I knew was expiring soon; I bought a temporary sim card in November while travelling back in the U.S. for the holidays that I wanted to renew for another month as I have extended my stay. I asked her if she could look up when my one month contract was expiring. She said "number", so I gave it to her...."name", I gave it to her. She then says "cash or credit". I said "cash or credit what?" She said "to extend another month". I said "can you answer my original question which was when my first month expires?". Answer: "13th".....[pause]..."tomorrow". Again, no hello, no how can I help you, no smile, no eye contact. I said "thanks for your fine customer service, I'll be leaving you a great review". This is that review. T-mobile: seriously. I travel back home for 1-2 months evert year for 10 years now and have always come to you for a sim card whilst I am here. You have lost my business today. WORST employee ever. Viviana with a face piercing that someone obviously told her to remove. Bored 20-something with dead eyes. The future of our country: Dog help us. There are a couple of young guys in this store who are really good. Sadly, some of the good young people are moving to the new flagship store in San Francisco. Full disclosure: I LOVE T-Mobile and have gotten multiple friends to switch from other carriers. I've always had positive experiences with T-Mobile employees at this store. However, Carmen (manager) and Rachel (specialist) are gone. My experience today with Alexander Ortega, store manager was abysmal. I've had smart phones since 2007 (first release). I've also worked in tech. Because I am an older individual, Mr. Ortega assumed that the software issue that I'm having with my new iPhone was because I was doing something wrong. He told me that he got his mother an iPad and it's easier for her to type. (I am not making this up.) I was insulted and shocked that he would resort to such an ageist statement. Would he say this to a millennial? I have an iPad, thank you. And I have a MacBook Air. I also do not have the same issues with my wife's iPhone X. He was also condescending to the nice employee that attempted to solve the phone issue. Mr Ortega needs to find another position where he is not dealing with the public. My experience with Taylor and Viviana recently was excellent. If you have business to do with T-Mobile, they really know what they're doing. I've been working with T-Mobile for years since moving over from Verizon, and at some other T-Mobile stores in other states I've found the staff don't know how to handle anything but the most basic transactions. I had a major reorganization of my family's accounts I needed to make which even T-Mobile's over the phone folks had a hard time figuring out, but Taylor and Viviana knew exactly what to do and how to do it.
