I'm still pretty salty about it, BUT since that time I experienced a weather related service outage and was impressed with their timely service. So I'm updating. Apparently lightening struck something important down the road from me, and I my internet/phone service was out. While at work, I got on the online chat (which was actually pretty fast compared to my past experiences) and they had someone work on it remotely right then. A local technician called me shortly after, and gave me his cell number to call in case the service was still out when I got home. It was, so I called and he worked on it that evening! I had service back by 6pm. Needless to say I was impressed on how quickly they addressed this. Where was this when I was first staring out with CenturyLink?! I hope this is the kind of service they can consistently deliver.

I do not know any other phone company, that could be that generous! Customer service is also second to none: I got immediate professional help & attention from technical support! i switched from AT&T because I got a better price and t mobile was very helpful getting my account…read moreset up etc but customer service is less. They do not answer phone or texts, you have to go in and wait. As I remember if there was something minor wrong with a device AT&T would fix it or give advice. Well one of our phones got wet and stopped working properly and I went by to see if they could give suggestions. Their only advice was that older phones are not water resistant and that they could put me in a new one for only $31 a month, total $729. Well I went home and looked for fixes from my friend Google and now phone is good as new.

I went through the whole credit check, gave all my info, including my phone's internal ID #, etc, agreed to the price, the terms, the promotion, and then the live agent in the chat asked, "Would you like a second phone, Connie?" I asked, "Who's Connie? Is that a typo?" All of a sudden, it stopped saying I was in a chat with a live agent and that changed to "virtual agent", and it asked if I was a new or existing customer...the first question it had asked me 45 minutes earlier. I called tmobile and it said there was a TWO HOUR wait time to speak with someone, which I couldn't do at that time. I went into a new chat later, (which was then AFTER the expiration date on the $300 rebate offer) and I asked tmobile to honor their $300 rebate offer which I had accepted in time but which didn't get finalized due to tmobile's fault. They would not honor it. It doesn't give me a good feeling about tmobile...not only is their infrastructure questionable if they are calling me by a different customer's name in their chat, but even worse, they are not honoring their offers which I stated over and over, ON TIME, that I accepted. It's dishonest business.
