I have had numerous issues with the stores and personnel/management at the Charlottesville stores. I had just switched from an iPhone back to an Android and was having some issues that I couldn't fix. I went in and spoke to a lady named Tiara (unbeknownst to me she was the manager) and she was awesome! Answered all my questions and took the time to make sure that I knew everything I needed to know. I thought this level of customer service at Verizon was gone. I was so happy to get the answers I needed and leave with problems corrected instead of me having to worry about how I was going to fix them on my own. I highly recommend this store, ask for Tiara, and I am sure her staff is well qualified too. After the way I was treated in the Charlottesville stores it is worth the 30-minute drive for me to go to the Waynesboro store and speak to people who really want to help me when I am having an issue or needing to upgrade my phone(s). Thank you, Tiara, for great customer service! From a grateful long-time customer, +Fr. P. Robert Hanley

Vicki and Dr. Doug Weiss have both helped elderly members of my family and have a lot of patience! After driving out of my way twice and being greeted with a locked door and the lights off, I finally called to set up an appointment to adjust my glasses (they are slightly crooked, it would take less than five minutes to fix), I found out the reasons I kept getting locked out: (1) if you want to see anyone for anything, you need to be there a full 20 minutes before they close, even if you're going to physically pick up glasses that are already paid for (they INSIST that this will require 20 minutes, it took me less than five when I missed work the next morning after being turned away the day before); and (2) their looney-tunes hours change EVERY WEEK. You have to call the week before you want to schedule a visit and actually ask, or get their voicemail. As a bonus, for those of us that work from 9-5:30, you might not be able to come in without missing work for 2+ weeks, because there are entire weeks where they are not open past 6. This much effort should not have to be involved for the simple, quick task of adjusting frames to fit my face better. I am a reasonable person, but after wasting over two hours of my life trying to come in during their posted hours only to find that everybody decided to leave early, I needed to warn others. Super inconvenient and unprofessional for a medical business.

By Friday (4/15) the screen was coming off. I stopped at the shop on Friday and was instructed that I had to come back Wednesday (4/20) when the shop owner returned to have him work on my phone again. I returned on Wednesday for him to fix my phone screen and the charging port (I noticed my headphone jack stopped working when I got home Wednesday (4/13) and the charging port had to be replaced since they're both all one piece). I had to wait over 2 hours but he was able to fix the screen. The screen he initially used was defective and he put a new one on. When he tried to replace the charging port that new part was also defective. So he told me that he needed to grab a new one from home so I would need to return on Thursday (4/21). He stated that the screen was defective so he replaced that and that the headphone jack he try to use with also defective so he had to go home and get a new piece. However, no charge for the port. So I would need to return the following day. I returned today and he is eating lunch and tells me I need to wait 40 minutes. I replied that I got off work early to come get my phone fixed and waited a long time yesterday. He told me to give him 15 minutes and he will work on my phone. I was in the mall for another hour and then he tells me he's charging me for the charging port. WTH?! When I debated with him about how I've had to come to the mall FOUR times because of his defective parts and waited over 4 hours total for him to fix it, he would not budge. I promise I won't be back again for anything and will not recommend them to anyone. Poor customer service all around. No care given for my time I waited and numerous trips I had to make.
