An update to my 10/22 review: I checked my T-Mobile account the other day and the store personnel DID NOT cancel the added line when we cancelled the phone upgrade and returned the phone. The WHOLE reason for returning the phone was because they had added an extra line - even though my wife told them that we didn't want it - so that we could (supposedly) get a better deal. We paid a $70 restocking fee to return the phone and they didn't even do the ONE thing we expected them to do. So - three visits to the store and two calls to customer service later, and we've finally finished the travail of this store's failure to give us the simple phone upgrade we wanted. It cost us $70 and about four hours of our time just to get our account back to the way it was before this whole mess started. Buyer beware. read more

My daughter and I purchased two I-Phones a couple weeks ago from this location. I don't believe the sales rep had any idea what he was doing. I had to tell him about the plan we wanted because he could not find it. Now that we have set up our account I realized he had the wrong plan and also charged us for protection plans without even asking us. I called T-Mobile twice before it got straightened out -but the were very accommodating both times. I'm writing to warn people about the sales people in this store !!!! Be sure that you get everything in writing and ask to see the computer screen showing it. Also ----- you won't get the price quoted if you don't sign up for AUTO-PAY in the store !! I did it when I got home and they said it would take effect next billing cycle - but after some discussion they did give me the $10 credit. So be sure you do that and also decide if you want the protection plan - we are still thinking about it but will probably cancel it. That's an extra $15 a month per phone. Honestly, I could barely hear this guy in the store, he spoke very low and mumbled. I guess I should have gone somewhere else but it was close to home. Good luck everyone :) read more

Kyli is a lifesaver! I came back to the store after purchasing a phone the day before (shout out to Jahine) due to the phone not recognizing my pattern swipe and being locked out. I did a factory reset but Google kept trying to authenticate me by sending a text to my phone, which wasn't set up!! YouTube was no help. Kyli fixed the problem in less than 5 minutes. I need my phone to live, basically, as we all do, so this was a big deal. Thank you Kyli!! read more

Nice to have a nice sized T-Mobile store in the neighborhood. It's about damn time they showed up in West Seattle. I was searching for the latest IPhone "X" creation which was available to review, play with and purchase. After playing with demo modal it was very apparent to take a pass. Kudos to my sales associate whom was knowledgeable about the latest features regarding facial recognition feature on the phone and new upgrades. I personally have had a nightmare experience at this store. I purchased an iwatch, because the salesperson told me that it was on sale. He told me that I had paid for it in full. The following month, I discover 2 additional phone lines have been added to my account without my consent! It also says that I have financed the watch! I clearly told him that I wanted to pay for it in full. I've spent hours revisiting the store and talking to T-Mobile customer service. Now they have the nerve to tell me that I owe an additional $150 for the phone. I find it unbelievable that a sales person would blatantly LIE to my face. The salesperson is no longer at the store and the store is unwilling to acknowledge or correct their mistake. My boyfriends family switched to T-Mobile from Sprint about a year, him and his family are very happy. All thanks to Tony! He was amazing help with picking the correct plan and phones for everyone. He made the switch over very easy and was very honest with how much their monthly bill was going to be. Tony is very knowledgeable in his work and upfront. He is patient, shows that he loves his job, and cares about his customers. I went into to have my iPhone that was having an issue booting up looked at and wanted to get it replaced. Was told I had Apple care on it and I could either take it to Apple and have it replace or file an insurance claim which would cost me $175. Being annoyed, I left and drove to south center and waited 2 hour to meet with an Apple genius. After an hour with them they couldn't get the software to work. They informed me since it was out of warranty and didn't have Apple care it would be $300+ to replace it. Found out the rep at the West Seattle T-moble store was giving false info and I had Jump but not Apple Care. Went to the T-moble store in South Center and that guy apologized and then laughed at how messed up the situation was. He told me that with my insurance on my phone and that this was a hardware issue not caused by customer damage it was going to cost me $5.51 to have a new phone sent to me. $5.51!!!!!! I will have it on Monday!!! West Seattle store wasted in total 5.5 hours of my life by not knowing what they were talking about. Seemed like they just wanted me to file a claim and give them more money or just really unqualified and on borderline sleazy. I stop back by to provide them this feedback and got the flattest apology for the assistant manager. The store manager was helping me at first and then past me off when he realized it was a repair so he could go close a sale. Jokes on him. I am buying 4 new iPhones for my staff and I sure as hell are not buying them there!!! Pro tip- this is not a corporate T-moble store. They are a preferred authorized reseller. read more

I lost my iPhone 11 one night, and it's my sole device, so I had no way to access anything. Went into this location the next morning, and Jahine took care of everything quickly and efficiently. New iPhone (and now a secondary, with minimal cost), added a line with no extra fee, and had my phone backed up and in business in 20 minutes. Best T-Mobile location in West Seattle. I don't think you'd really like it if you've been on the phone for three hours and 45 minutes for an upgrade get transferred to the Philippines get transferred within the company 12 times and have to give your password 12 times and the street you grew up on and they still can't give me an upgrade on the phone and not only that I paid off my phone at $300 to do the upgrade and they still can't follow through. . Unfortunately i was ready to switch from ATT to t-mobile. However after waiting 2 hours to speak to someone I decided I would never give T-Mobile my money. My primary issue was the attitude and the ignorance of the store manager. Not only was she rude to other customers, she called a white couple in front of me despite waiting the first 30 minutes. It was so bad another customer stayed out lord "weren't you next". I still remained calm. Then after waiting an hour and 15 minutes the other sales clerk asked if what I need was quick. After two hours, the manager asked me how can she serve me. I asked her why did she ignore the fact I was next in line. She told me I needed to make an appointment online. I told her at what point was she going to inform customers of this. Also, a man walked in asking if he could sign up, she stated their was no sign up. Obviously, this is a contradiction to her ill advised information to me. I calmly explained to her that as a supervisor she displayed a lack of leadership. A total of 4 customers left during this time period. Also during this visit, the same manager threatened to call the cops on a homeless man who was charging his phone. The service was so bad I that another woman stepped in to tell the manager that she was being rude. The other store clerk looked terrified to speak . Ironically, I have been to this store once with a friend purchasing a new phone. During this encounter we both witnessed the same woman display rude behavior to a Latino man who didn't not understand the service he signed up for. This is unacceptable and bad for business. The manager doesn't deserve to represent T-Mobile. I recorded the encounter and would be happy to share it with T-Mobile. read more

He was very thorough in explaining the plans and charges on my account. He even suggested changes that saved me money in the long run. AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE! These guys treat you right. We switched from AT&T and also had a 1.5 year old baby en tote. They were extremely patient with us and so nice to our daughter. We spent probably about three hours in the store looking at different plans, exploring phone options and they even transferred our info over to our new phones. THEY called AT&T customer service for us to switch over instead of just telling us we could do it ourselves. They really go above and beyond. Always difficult to get a straight answer here, I'm disgusted with T-Mobile as a company. I have been a customer for at least two years and have been treated second class for having pre-paid plan- DONT offer the plan if you don't treat your customers the same across the board. I have tried 3 times to order a $1,000 iPhone online, via chat and by calls and it won't go through. Each person said I had to contact someone else. My credit card which is fine was not accepted by any other them- Chase freedom Visa card. Being a Seattle customer living in Seattle, I can't believe this is the customer service offered. I hate to give them that amount of money. If they can make it right to purchase in person I will update this review. read more

Initially i got great customer service when i went to the store to request they check the settings on my 4G phone which was slow and dropping calls. I bought a new 5G Samsung phone. The clerk quoted me a 24 month contract price and i paid the difference. He inserted the SIM card, called my phone to make sure it worked and i left. I arrived home and tried to use the phone, to no avail. "network not available" After an hour trying to google and solve the problem i went back to the store. A different clerk discovered that the reason the phone would not work was because the SIM card had not been seated properly. I got home, checked my T Mobile account and found that the clerk had not told me that he had signed me up for a special promotion that included an extra telephone line and insurance at a price high than what had been explained to me in the store, and that my account had been switched to the telephone number associated with the second telephone line. I had to call customer care to have this resolved, and now i cannot call or text on the new phone because now the phone is "not registered on a network". read more

I would give 0 stars, but it is not an option. Awful experience. I walked in to switch from Verizon to get the new iPhone XR. I asked the man (Troy or Tony, I can't remember his name) specifically if they would have to do a hard credit check to see if I qualified for the no down payment option. He told me it would not show up on my credit, and it would be a soft inquiry. I left the store after being told I wouldn't have to pay a down payment, but my monthly would be cheaper if I could switch my whole family to T-Mobile. I said I would come back after I talked to my family. Twenty minutes later, I get an update from my Credit Karma app stating there was a new hard inquiry from T-Mobile on my credit report. I then called the store and asked to speak to a manager, and explained to him the situation. He said he would figure out what happened and call me back, but neglected to get my name or phone number. No surprise, but I did not get a follow up call! Oh, but wait, there's more! My family and I still decided to switch, so we went to the South Center T-Mobile store 5 days later. There was no way I was going to go back to this location. Come to find out, this Fauntleroy store ACTUALLY OPENED AN ACCOUNT WITH 3 LINES IN MY NAME. I would've received a bill for $130 in a month if I had not decided to switch, even though I literally walked out of the store with nothing in my hands. DO NOT GO HERE. Take the extra trip to South Center, thankfully they figured everything out and gave me a 5 day credit on my account for the 5 days the Fauntleroy location charged me for nothing. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. YOU WILL BE SCAMMED. FRAUDULENT BUSINESS: choose a corporate store- The sales team here, and the manager (Fahim) are especially pushy. They will try and rush you through the process, offer upgrades and special offers with little to no explanation and are indirect when you ask more questions. They try to make you think you are getting a deal when what they are doing is increasing your sale total to increase their personal commissions. The manager who helped me with my purchase told me that accessories were free with the BOGO Apple iPhone deal that I was pigeon holed into. He went around the store collecting these "FREE" accessories. The thing is: these items were SOLD to me as $0 downpayment. They were "free" out the door but still cost 216.93 on top of the cost of a new Apple iPhone. WHAT A RIP OFF. They have a 14 day return policy on these items- only if you figure this out before your next bill(usually takes longer than 14 days to receive). I never would have purchased extra screen protectors, charger, and case if I knew that they were in fact not free. If you do try and return the items the store will also charge a "restocking fee" so you can't recover the full amount. BOTTOM LINE: if you don't have to shop here don't. choose a corporate location, or better yet, a different phone company - I know I will no longer be using T-Mobile after this highway robbery scam. I've been with T.Mobile for almost 9 years & I have seen the good, the bad and the ugly. I've thought about changing providers several different times but never manage to leave. I recently had the pleasure of visiting store 5395 in W.Seattle and Fahim A. was nothing but amazing took all the precaution to make sure we were Covid-19 safe as well as was very nice and kind heart. He did his best to help me & my daughter the best way he could and it really made me happy to be a T.mobile customer especially at a time like this with everything going on in the world. Man was my experience here excruciating. I came in attempting to switch carriers when one of the plans advertised was cheaper than my current plan. I came in around 5 and waited a few minutes for someone to help. When someone did become available I told them the plan I wanted. The gal went back to retrieve a SIM card. Then I waited. And waited. And waited. She was unable to activate it using the store's system so she had to make calls to an external T-Mobile rep. She was placed on hold multiple times. It was not until she spoke with a fourth person that she learned the system was down and she could not activate it. At this point it was nearly 6:30. I left. I later learned from another T-Mobile rep on Facebook that this was a planned system upgrade and I should have been warned by the store reps that activations might be impacted. Poor communication between this store and corporate. Do not recommend. read more
