For the amount of 'one stars' this location is getting, I'm going to give five stars to bump the average. Service is good! They will get you up and running, notice the design of the booths and tables. This implies and informs you preemptively about the kind of service you will receive. It is not an official franchise, so some (iPhone) promotions may not be offered. I like their transparency about the following: prices, rates, commissions, stock(s), data caps, and downtime; you just have to ask the right questions. :) I normally would never go T-Mobile 'full-send', but: they are headquartered in Bellevue, WA of all places. Warning: Do not go to this store. If I could give less than 1 star, I would. The manager is 100 unprofessional in person and over the phone. I have come in several times to get this situation fixed, and she is always out even when she's supposed to be in the store, according to her associates and assistants. I've called, and she acts like she doesn't have time to fix the issue she created by not doing her job in the first place. I returned the equipment to her with one of her associates there. She wouldn't give me a receipt saying their computers were down... And since then I've had problems. She misplaced the equipment, and I've even given her the IMEI# for the equipment I gave her and stole she has no clue where she put it. This is causing a lot of pain and frustration because my bill is still showing it as active and charging my account for something I returned months ago , Over $200+ for something I don't have, all because of her competence. This person should not be a manager and lacks the necessary skill set to do her job efficiently. I had an incredibly frustrating experience at T- Mobile while returning equipment. The manager not only failed to follow the correct return procedure but also created a mess by falsely claiming equipment was missing. Despite the issues, the manager has been noticeably absent in resolving the problems she caused. It was a disappointing and unprofessional encounter overall. read more

Rude, entitled employees simply can't be bothered to do their job and prioritize their personal phone usage and cat fights with fellow employees over the work they are being paid for ... and then complain about not getting any respect. Wow, this location gets a lot of very bad reviews, but so far, my experiences with them have been pretty good, so YMMV. THE ROSES: The store is well-staffed. I am amazed at how many folks were working there, and they seem very friendly. They are very keen to get your business, especially if you're thinking of switching to T-Mobile from another carrier. They are willing to deal! THE THORNS: VERY sketchy neighborhood. It is not unusually to be approached by unsavory looking characters who just want 'a dollar for bus fare', or 'spare change so they can get some gas to get home'. Do not recommend coming down here after dark, especially if you're a solo female. Staff can sometimes get things wrong as well. The fellow who 'ported out' my phone which was still under contract neglected to tell me that it was still up to me to call my current carrier and tell them that I wanted to switch my phone over. This added a couple of days where I couldn't use my phone. THE VERDICT: They're OK, but get everything in writing, and be careful in the neighborhood. read more

Disclaimer up front, I'm not a huge T-Mobile fan. But this place just reinforces why I'm not. Basically, it's the slowest place ever. Only go if you have your afternoon free...and take a book. I went with my wife because she was porting her number back from AT&T. When we arrived, there were two people working and about four customers ahead of us. 30-45 minutes later, I needed to use the restroom. T-Mobile itself does not have any public restroom (though it should if you're going to have to wait more than an hour). They do, however, share a parking lot with Bartell Drugs and so I went there. Taking my time, and strolling around, I returned to T-Mobile after about 15 minutes only to find that my wife was still waiting to be helped. Eventually, we were finally helped by one of the associates. He seemed to know what he was doing, and the process was largely quick, but we would later find that his workmanship sucked. My wife was receiving no calls, and her mother was complaining about receiving a number of calls that were meant for my wife. See what happened? Instead of bringing my wife's number back over, and creating a family plan by adding her mother to our account, they deleted my mother-in-law's account and gave her my wife's number. So that basically sums up our unhappiness with this T-Mobile location. Took forever and didn't even really fix our problem; just created new ones. If I might continue, however, I'll just say that T-Mobile didn't want to fix the problem (that they created). It was a pain to get it straightened out, but they gave my mother-in-law her own line again and gave my wife her number back. But then they charged us for opening a new line (my mother-in-law's). Seriously? And then when we called to say that's dumb, they said they have no notes from any of the previous issues, and we have to pay for the new line. Arguing forever didn't fix anything. We did, however, speak later with "Customer Retention" and the lady was super nice. She said that the other person was very wrong, that we actually overpaid, and they credited us back the charge and then some. Not really a surprise or secret why they're bleeding business and, like a fly in a cupboard, slowly collapsing in on itself. They need to figure it out...or go away. read more

Scammy, scam, scammers. Bryan at the store told me he was giving me free accessories with my purchase of a new phone. The receipt was folded and put in the new phone box. All I saw on the screen was the tax I was paying on the phone. Turns out they charged me $80 for a case/ protector. When I went in, Nicholass said my math was wrong. He said he did it 3 times. I asked for a pen and showed him (simple math) why my math was correct (it was obvious he was just lying). Instead of apologizing they continued to double down on the lies. They are taking advantage of people left and right is my guess. A big portion of their clientele are immigrants, and no doubt being scammed. I will contact the store owner and T-mobile corporate. ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIC. Jamal, who I THINK is the Manager's name (I might be wrong b/c I was so angry that I did not get a good luck)...promised me that when I came in with my husband's damaged screen on his three year old phone that "You will DEFINITELY be able to walk out of here with 0.00 down and a new phone." That never happened. We are already paying way too much for the "cheapest" plan. The situation is: I am struggling badly financially...My husband only makes $15 an hour and I am looking for 100 jobs a day and am not able to find anything and it is absolutely horrific b/c I am not able to find work. I work some day labor jobs but it is not enough to survive. When my husband dropped his screen, I thought after FOUR YEARS OF LOYALTY AND PAYING A LOT OF MONEY TO THEM, that they would help me. They did not. They lied to me. They where horrific. They said, "There is nothing we can do" to get you a new phone after a half hour saying they would. Then when they called to "advocate" for me, they did not even tell customer care how urgent things were and I asked to speak to Customer Care while I was there in the store five times and they ignored me. It was horrific. So, I left with no phone for my husband. I am disgusted that T Mobile has put a store in an area where people are working class or blue collar...and yet the people there do not even cater or care about their customer base. This is definitely a lock-your-doors neighborhood, but the inside of the store is clean, and the staff is friendly. Parking is available around the corner (Rite-Aid lot), and there's a good chance you'll drive right past the store--look for the large Rite-Aid sign, not the hidden T-Mobile logo on the corner. All of the accessories are locked, so you'll need staff to get it for you. That slows things down a bit when staff is maxed out. Even with 4 people working the counters, staff seem hard-pressed to keep up with customers. Maybe hiring another staff member would help. Staff was knowledgeable about options, but the constant crush of customers during peak times (midday on weekends) means that you may not get as in-depth an explanation as you need before signing up for service. May return when in the area. read more

I called the store twice to check if they had a phone in stock and the first time I called they promptly picked up the phone and told me they were going to check , they put me on hold and I get no answers in 5 minutes I hang up. Second time I call to see if they had the phone in stock, again, another employee picks up promptly and says the same thing, and keep me on hold for more than 5 minutes. What's up with that? Can they just check like they said and either say they have it or not??!It's not a difficult thing to do and I can only imagine how their customer service is in store. I was told if wearing a mask causes difficulty breathing as the result of a medical condition the law exempts me from wearing one and when I had to spend roughly a half hour there and struggled to breathe I explained the situation and Jesse said medical condition or not you still need to wear a mask. I was there cuz I bought a phone last month and that phone no longer allowed the person on the other end to hear my voice and he couldn't fix it. I was highly offended and being talked down to causes distress as a result of having autism induced PTSD which lead to me shooting myself with a shotgun blowing my nose off thus causing difficulty breathing. Not only is this the closest T-Mobile store to me, it's the best! I'm consistently impressed by the festive vibe in the place; the employees always seem to be having a great time and genuinely enjoy their jobs. They're knowledgeable, friendly, and not only do a great job with the technical side of things, they really engage on a human level. On my most recent visit, I was having some seriously thorny hardware problems. Michael, the store manager, made certain that he solved my problems and left the store a VERY satisfied customer. All around bad customer service. Told the store manager that they were bad mouthed by a neighboring store, and he was more concerned about who said that, than ensuring I didn't agree. After having to come back because of their mistake, I still had to wait for half an hour while other customers were tended to. Every time I go there to pay my bill or get a new phone it's always the same peer pressure of them trying to offer you any kind of promotions even if I tell them no thank you yet another of there members comes over with the same thing. I recently went and purchased a phone and was told there was a buy one get on free but it turns out I was lied too. I had to return the free phone or else I would be charged. Wow! This is the worse T-Mobile store EVER! It started out in the summer, I went there to get a Galaxy S5 for myself. The girl that helped me was very nice and since they offer to apply my screen protector for me, I took that opportunity and paid for the screen protector. Mind you, this screen protector is $25. When I came home, I looked under the lights and saw finger prints underneath of the protector. I came back the next day, spoke to the manager, showed him my receipt to see if he could fix it or replace the screen protector for me. He told me no and that they're already providing the complimentary "application of the screen protector". So I let it go and bought a new set of screen protector and put it on myself. Today, I came there with my brother to get an iPhone for him and was served by an Asian Guy (forgot his name) after a 30 minutes wait. He was very aggressive with trying to sell my brother accessories. My brother denied all accessories so the guy even tried to sell accessories for my phone, which I don't need. Then he tried to sell my brother screen protectors so I brought up my incident with my phone's protector before, my customer service guy immediately got defensive. He raised his voice and went on and on. I even asked him of why he got so defensive, he just had no explanation. He kept going on with his raised voice even when my brother asked him nicely to drop it. Never throughout the whole thing was I taken a shot at him. When my brother and I got home, we realized that he charged us shipping for my brother's phone evn though he told us it was free shipping. We've had it so we canceled the order by calling instead. RE: other comments, the neighborhood for this location is fine. Before you visit this store, or any other T-Mo store, just know that everything costs more in-store than online. How hard they sell you depends on the location. IME, this store is like a car lot. My husband went in to get a new SIM. The clerk grabbed his phone away from him, removed the SIM, refused to give it back and then tried to upsell him to a new phone. It took a lot of arguing to get his phone back and buy the SIM. I went in for a new SIM to activate an unlocked phone, and was sold two. When I saw the receipt and told the clerk I only needed one, he refused to refund the second and gave me the business card to call the owner. Commission only? Avoid. read more

I finally told sprint where to go and switched to t-mobil. the guy was very helpful and got me going, I a simple and a technophobe, I always downgrade while everyone else upgrades. the sales associate was very patient, understanding and helpful.
