Mark & Conner both are exemplary in their knowledge and abilities, as well as their character. They clearly know a lot about Verizon, smart phones, and how to work within Verizon's parameters to get you the very best plan while saving you money. They both worked with me and my cousin, sometimes both of them, sometimes one, over a 3 day period for several hours each day. All while not ignoring other customers. We had so much we wanted done with our phones and accounts and there were technical problems that slowed the process down but they continually worked diligently, very apologetic for the delays and appreciative of our own persistence which made them work harder! They remained friendly and helpful, throughout the 3 days while getting us both the absolute best Plan for our needs and preferences and saving us the most money. These 2 professionals are the reason I'm still with Verizon. So many "mistakes" have happened with Verizon and Verizon representatives that did not benefit me, yet took hours of my time, I was thinking on whether or not to move away from Verizon, go with a different carrier, someone cheaper. Then I met Conner. This was a couple of years ago now. He's always extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Then I met Mark, the manager. He could figure out in mere seconds, if, and, what the problem with your phone is no matter what type or brand. Then fix it. I'm certain I walked out with the best plan for the lowest cost. Usually i despise going into a phone store but with Conner and Mark there to help it is no longer daunting. I enjoy seeing them and hope they stick around to our (the) customers benefit. Terrible service. Like beyond terrible. I got a new phone and got sold the wrong accessories (that wasn't even the worst problem) But when I tried to bring my old phone back for the trade-in, it took three visits with each time being told it would take 2 hours before they could take my phone. Do not come here. If you live in West Seattle, consider switching to another carrier because it is MISERABLE to be at this store. read more

I been with Verizon for many years, and figured id check out this store since its closer to me, from the get go i get in the store and stand around for a few minutes and no one shows up, and then when the guy does show up, he seems disinierested and didnt want to help me at all. I explained that i placed an order online, and am here to pick it up, he stated he doesn't see my order so he went to the back and there it was, while waiting some more I decideds to shop to use my verizon up rewards; asked if i could redeem this coupon that said i could redeem it at any verizon retailer, he straight up said no (this 2as a coupon OFF the verizon app), so of course i ended up not buying the phone case. This review is a little overdue.. But, regardless, here it is... Jacob Manning with the WS store, and I think he works at the Broadway one as well, went above and beyond taking care of me when I needed a replacement phone. It was a warranty replacement and Verizon sent a rep to my house to help me set it up and transfer everything over. Well, it did not go as planned.. He was there for far too long and ended up saying, well - keep it connected to internet and in a few hours it should all be transferred. Well, he was very wrong. After about 4 hours, it was still no where near transferred and I needed my phone for work the next day. I drove up to the Admiral Verizon store and explained all of this to Jacob. He helped me get it all figured out, WAY more efficient than the rep they sent to my house! Thank you Jacob!! read more

I went into this store two weeks ago to have them check my phone and to make a change in my calling plan I asked a couple of questions and I was told that I needed to take the phone to an Apple Store and then was turned over to a different person to handle the international calling issue I asked her whether or not the phone could be checked - the original sales person Brandon Simon came over and told me that I needed to leave the store that I was trespassing and he was going to call 911 which he did. He described me to the 911 operator as a rowdy Customer and told her that I refused to leave the store. I never raised my voice. I used no bad language nor made any kind of abusive or threatening comments to the employees. Another customer who was waiting to be attended to pointed at Brandon, said "you are obnoxious, sir and I am not going to do business with this company "and he left .I feel like this is an abuse of the police system, and I was appalled to be treated like this. I did refuse to leave the store and told him I'd be happy to wait for my police escort. I subsequently left but the police arrived simultaneously so I told the officer what had happened he suggested I go to a different store. I have attempted three times or more to reach a manager to discuss the way that I was treated , my name and phone number has been provided to him at least three times and I have not heard back. I would recommend that this store be avoided at all costs. I've been a Verizon customer for 17 years, but I won't be for much longer. read more

This store is really declining. When I visited this store over summer and had some questions about my phone/service, the male employee I dealt with was really knowledgeable, kind, and helpful! I don't think he works at this store anymore. I recently visited this location a few times in the process of getting a new phone, and unfortunately my experiences weren't great. The first time I went into the store I worked with a female employee who was really unfriendly. She seemed completely put out and bothered to have to deal with customers and was really unpleasant to work with. I ultimately decided to leave the store and come back at a different time when I could work with someone else. The two guys I worked with during my next visit were okay. They were knowledgeable and got the job done. When I got my new phone, they suggested holding onto my old phone (the trade in) for a few days to make sure that everything transferred correctly. However, when I went to return my old phone/trade in, something that should have taken a few minutes, turned into a nightmare. The two times I went into the store to drop off the old phone the store had several customers there (totally understandable), however the employees did not even welcome or acknowledge the customers who were waiting or give any updates about the time frame. I ended up leaving and tried to come in at a less busy time. This time there was only 1 employee working (the female referenced above). Again, she didn't acknowledge me or the one other family that was waiting ahead of me. We waited for over 45 minutes with no acknowledgement. The family ahead of me was even trying to switch cell phone service from tmobile to Verizon and the woman couldn't have cared less. The family was so frustrated with the lack of customer service and acknowledgement that they ended up leaving. I left shortly after them. When I tried to talk to the saleswoman on my way out to find out where else I could bring in my phone she didn't attempt to apologize for the long wait - instead she suggested going to downtown Seattle, which wasn't convenient at all. Overall, I would avoid this store. They don't even pretend to care about their customers and the experience is frustrating and unpleasant. Ultimately, I ended up going to the store inside South Center mall and it was SO MUCH BETTER! They were WONDERFUL and so kind! This store could learn a thing or two from them! read more

Walked in at 6pm on a random weekday after bricking my phone very suddenly to exchange for a new one. The manager Jacob was the only employee on site that day but he was extremely pleasant and tending to the 3 other folks also awaiting their turns. By the time he was able to help me out, it was already past closing, but he stayed late to ensure I got set up and could leave with a new phone set up in hand. Super friendly manager and really goes above and beyond to provide service to everyone, or coordinate follow-up as needed! Super grateful for his help on short notice, and has made me a loyal customer in the future when I need more Verizon services. read more

Verizon worker Alex gives great customer service in person at the Verizon store. This morning, Alex answered every question quickly and solved the billing and device return problem I had encountered. Needing support to resolve issues with phone and billing, I have visited the Verizon store, Northgate, in Seattle, on several occasions. The staff there are knowledgeable, swift to solve every problem, and courteous. Twice I tried the online chat option for service and it was EXECRABLE. There is no excuse for the slovenly service online. The workers seem not to speak English and are not knowledgeable; they are obviously using a plug-and-play response script to attempt to answer questions. So, after several failed attempts early in 2024 at online chat help, I have defaulted to visiting the Northgate Verizon store. read more

I'll start this with the fact the o recognize my mom was wrong for escalating the situation and yelling. It could have been addressed more cordially, for sure.  That said: My mom and I came in around 10am on 12/23. The one guy working was helping a woman who was apparently reworking her entire veterinary business phone service.  We were not acknowledged at all upon entry. We were not acknowledged at all until the second employee came back from a break, well after he started helping the next fellow in line (~45 min after wed been inside.) He asked me, "hey are you just trying to buy a case?" I said, "no, I want the case and to turn in a trade in phone from a upgrade purchase." He said "ok" and walked away.  15 min later, my mother approaches the fellow talking to the vet woman and asks how much longer this might take. I'll be the first to admit her tone was a little upset but it was a more than reasonable questions after an hour. The woman being helped tried to laugh it off and say it always takes a while but the guy working really showed his colors in his response. He very condescendingly asked my mom what she was trying to accomplish. She told him we're just trying to turn in a phone. He immediately states that an online purchase upgrade trade in turn in is only possible at the company store downtown. My mom says it would have been nice to know that sometime in the last hour. He responds with, and this is verbatim: "Well I can't read your mind." ... At the company store downtown, the rep said, "Well yeah, no one can read anyone's mind, he could have just asked you why you were there." (We were also in and out in literally 5 min, including the purchase for a case, when we stopped in there.) He said that a lot nicer than I want to right now. Because yeah, no kidding... That's why you take the whole 5 seconds to greet and ask someone why they're in your store, rather than waste everyone's time.  Moral of the story: don't go to these offshoot stores. They aren't beholden to any actual standards. If you don't believe me, check the rest of these reviews (wish I had before we came here.) As a person who's worked in customer-facing industries my entire life, the guy working acted poorly beyond comprehension and I would never put him as the face of the store.  (To the lady he was "helping"/selling to: he fleeced you on needing a new router and that $400 'silly' charge that they're *totally* going to give you a rebate for later.) read more

Would give negative stars, if that were an option. I've visited this store twice with both experiences being negative. I made an appointment online earlier this week for this store. I showed up half an hour early and when I got there, the door was locked with the attached photo. I tried to make eye contact with the two workers inside, but they refused to look at the door or to the other customers waiting outside. Contrary to what the sign says, there were no customers inside. Instead, one of the workers had his head down on the desk, and the other was sitting staring at his phone at the other counter. Mind you this was two hours from closing time, and during the time I waited, which was more than an hour, they refused to look at the potential customers waiting outside in the rain. I walked away frustrated. I'm not sure Verizon realizes what affect this has on their brand. I'm pretty sure contracting out there customer service to Victra does more harm than good. read more

They charged me $20 and didn't even transfer data. I was informed to do it at home. Took me 4 hours to do data transfer on my own. Complete hassle and fraud based on signage on business front. Don't find out the hard way. FRANK would have been better off going to mall and getting it for free. Plus data transfer professionally done by a real Verizon store would have been nice. Very knowledgeable and professional. What really "wowed" me was how genuinely nice and caring he was related to my understanding of my new phone. This is the worst customer service ever. After waiting an hour, I had to ask how much longer it would be. The kid who was at the counter said he didn't know. At that point he actually asked what we needed and then said the store did not do that, we had to go to the central office. I tried to explain that he should ask people when they come in what is needed, then they are not stuck waiting. He said he couldn't read my mind and was very rude. I think he may have been high based on his behavior. We went to another store downtown and were in and out in 5 minutes, well taken care of. SCAMMED DO NOT SHOP HERE So there was this worker here that advertised with a promotion deal to my family that buying the new iPhone 10 there, they will give us another free iPhone 10. He insisted on switching, and since my mother needed an upgrade we thought it would be nice. WRONG. We were charged for the full amount for months, until we went back and confronted their manager there. Shockingly, the manager told us this promotion was a scam and fraud, and that the staff was fired immediately. The "true" promotion was buying a iPhone 10 from them AND switching our plan to unlimited data. Keep in mind it's been month WITHOUT ANY notice or apology for inconvenience. It was nice that he apologized, and after we politely asked for a refund he agreed to give us store credit for the fraud information/fee. He informed us that our account/plan will be updated so that we will get the unlimited data and apply store credit towards the next billing. It's been the next billing cycle now and oh my gosh...they changed our plan to unlimited and did NOT apply store credit and now we're paying even more. TOTAL SCAM BE CAREFUL! read more

I usually have a great experience here but this last visit was awful and uncomfortable. I went in the other day to get a new iPhone. We were greeted immediately by a salesperson was very pleasant. I knew exactly what I wanted but was asked why I wanted the Xs vs XR- when they're the same. He then asked if it's because I took a lot of selfies? This is where it went downhill for me. No, but I do like photography. Thanks. During the transaction at some point he mentioned he was going to diving school for a year abroad. Very cool. But then went on to say how he hated selling Verizon products and how he was really a trainer but they made him sell stuff on occasion. First rule of customer service - don't tell the customer you hate your job while ringing up their $1100 new phone and trying to up-sell the packages "this job sucks.. we can install the screen protector etc etc .." At some point he just went and printed out my contract without asking me if I wanted to put money down - I'm usually asked this question. I told him I wanted to put $ down and he sighed and said I should have told him earlier. And then acted like a pouty child as he backed out of the contract to make a new one. Overall it was a really uncomfortable experience. He then said multiple times that's it, we can go... we had to awkwardly tell him we would love to go but he still had my phones equipment and other purchases in front of him. .. He kindly forgot I wanted to pay off the other phones on my plan.. but that was fine. I wanted to leave as soon as possible. read more

First off, this place NEEDS to be SHUT DOWN! My partner's mother has been with Verizon since 2009 (not like customer loyalty matters in this day & age) in housing as a tenant or a consumer in corporate business. She needed to get a new plan & phone since she was month to month & was told that they could work a "deal" out with her in where she could pay the same or a little less than what she had previous. Chris - (who seems like a first class DB edition" was working with her in supposedly helping her to continue her service & relation with the company with a new deal. However she ended up paying twice the amount to the tune of $157.00 just to set it up & then gradually pay $120.00 in some change from an original $88.00 dollar bill she was getting monthly. Not only was this 65 year-old woman getting F--ked Over, Chris & the other staff were rude to her as well. I got the chance to partake of this rudeness when my partner, I, & his mom went back to the same location & dealt with Mr. Jorge Rodriguez instead of the 1st class twat Chris who we REALLY wanted to see. Jorge was a bit more interactive, but no apology for the misrepresentation or false information that Chris had initially given my partner's mom & in fact even had a note of the encounter scribbled to the text of "Un-happy customer in a bad mood. Will come back in to complain about the phone. Try to up pitch." You can't make this stuff up, whether it's a store that IS "Verizon" or not this IS NOT a good representation of good business, the corporate company, or general customer service & respect. These kids that work there NEED some business ethics training 101 in people/product skills before attempting to "work" at places like these. According to the manager, this branch has only been here for 3 - 4 months and they are a welcome addition to West Seattle for those of us that have grown weary of the odd Verizon authorized retailer with banker's hours on the Ave near Lee's. Very clean and bright in there, sharing the rear parking lot with Safeway, Chase, Menchie's etc. The staff is very knowledgeable, super friendly and more than willing to help. I've never had to wait in a line yet and I hope that isn't a bad sign because I'd be sad to see them leave. The pricing and décor are along the same lines as any other Verizon store (duh) with a good but not extensive selection of cases and accessories lining the walls. Robin (the manager) helped me out of my faithful old XT910 with the failing battery and into a Samsung Galaxy III Mini. Then she helped me again when I couldn't figure out how to get Visual Voicemail working on it a week or two later. On top of that, one of the guys there (failed to catch his name) gave me a cool tip on how to break in the battery. SO glad they're here! read more

Simply want to give a 10 out of 10 shout out to your employee Tim. This young man was amazing in his knowledge and service. He was feeling allergies the first night we spent 2 hours fixing a problem which went on until after his shift by a few minutes. It felt like we were a team in trying to fix a problem. The next day, we agreed to meet again to finish. He called in sick. We waited till Tim was back until we returned. It took less than 30 minutes and I bought an iphone 11 by the time we left. This kid is a rock star and I enjoyed the puzzle(not really) time with him. He has also followed up via email. That is customer service, I know having worked in 5 star hotels as management for years. Recommendation: never get a phone anywhere else. Great store. Awesome customer service. A small location but lots of customers willing to be helped by awesome consultants who have found ways to save significant amounts of money on my bill. Much better than a coorporate verizon store where you sit and take a number and wait for hours. If you have a phone need or just want help in the most professional manner go here. I will no longer have to drive downtown or go to the south center location. Great reps. I was helped by Robin, Mario and JR who made me feel like i was a valued customer. I left with a smile on my face. Got my free tablet and was still saving money on my bill. Some people fail to understand patience when they walk into a retail store. While attempting to upgrade my current Verizon wireless plan today, I was first asked for the last four digits of my social security number, to verify my current account. Next they asked for me to type in my entire SSN on their computer to place an order. This was one of those "safe" designs where each digit turned to an asterisk once it was entered. Next, the Verizon rep in the store gets on the phone, where they ask for a verbal full SSN over the phone. Next, that person on the phone with the Verizon Rep at the store gives a number to them and me, asking for me to fax a copy of my social security card. GAME OVER! VERIZON, you have carried this way too far. Having purchased motor vehicles and two houses, I have never been asked by any one to supply a copy of such. The only one who should ever ask or require a copy of a social security card is ones employer, ones bank, ones attorney, or possibly a government agency. I have a new mission in life, make this publicly known for others to boycott Verizon! Otherwise very friendly service at this store. Employees here should be ashamed to work for such an evil, unethical, unrealistic company who requires this document. read more

Last night I came by to ask a quick question. I didn't even have my phone with me as I was on my way to get froyo next door (I'm 8 1/2) months pregnant. It was 7:54 to be precise and they claim they are open till 8. The lights were off and as the young man opened the door I said, can I ask you a quick question. He basically said no, grabbed the signage and shut the door on my face. What a joke. This is the second issue I've had at this fake Verizon store, don't waste your time! Manager is horrible as well so save yourself the trouble and go to a real version store. The other issue I had included the manager selling the phone I had ordered with a down payment to someone else without calling me (Although she claims she did), I had to drive back in so she could refund me. Recommendation: avoid at all costs. Never go here. Verizon itself maybe, this store no fucking way. I ordered an iPhone 6 thru this store. First, that day in the store, the gentleman clerk had no idea what he was doing. He couldn't remember codes he was supposed to know, and rushed us thru the order. We were satisfied about the info, but that may be since I'd already asked my friends. So...fast forward 5 days past the shipping date. No phone, no information. They didn't answer my phone call and did not reply to a (edit: 3) voicemails (who has vm answer during business hours?). I cannot find my order information online anywhere. UPDATE: They are not actual thieves. They did not just take my money and provide nothing in return. [Note: they didn't notify me of shipping OR receiving the phone, I had to call to find out] Instead, they f*ed things up differently. My number hasn't ported. Fine, glitches happen. BUT, they charged me, un-asked, un-wanted a $20 fee for "setting up the phone" --- which I would never pay for voluntarily, and which didn't even f'ing work. I assume it was [porting reasons] for why they didn't apply my phone number to it in the first place, but now I've got some other one (with the requisite wrong number texts) in place of what I want. I can't really text anyone, unless they have iMessage. The Verizon guy on the phone just now couldn't help, but at least gave me a number to call.
