He explained that he personally guaranteed his service, that if I experienced any problem to immediately call him and he would see to it that the issue was resolved at no extra charge. Jack is an honorable, honest man and business owner. I would recommend him to anyone for an experience that doesn't frustrate you, anger you, surprise you with additional charges or overcharge you. That is saying a lot in today's business climate where I feel I cannot trust anyone's estimate any more and must do some kind of investigative work to see if I am receiving a fair quote. There was no floor model to inspect, and she trusted the store's description and history. When the grill arrived, it had only stainless trim, no wheels, and was clearly not the heavy-duty model she expected. She declined delivery politely and even offered to pay the price difference or use gift cards to upgrade to the better model. They refused. Instead of working with her, they issued a refund--and then left her a voicemail telling her never to shop there again. Their own voicemail admitted it was a "snafu" and they "don't normally sell natural gas grills," but punished her for not accepting a downgrade. This wasn't about being difficult. It was about being fair. After over 7 years of loyalty, this was their response. If this is how they treat long-time customers, I encourage others to think twice before shopping here.

I recently got a custom-built PC from Mercury computers. The experience on the front-end was just…read morefine. Assuming everything worked well, this review would be a very different one. Story to follow. I just recently upgraded my own PC. I wanted to build my friend a PC utilizing my old GPU and so I bought all the other components myself (CPU, Mobo, RAM, SSD). I brought all the parts to Mercury to put together for me, mostly because I'm lazy and also because I feel like I do an awful aesthetic job when it comes to cable management. He sold me on the two parts I was missing, both the PC case and the PSU. I was fine with that. He charged me three or four hours of his time and I was also fine with that. Until the PC was put to use. My friend had all sorts of issues with it in practice. It kept crashing when playing games, variably, within two hours. We troubleshooted it remotely since I'm a computer guy. Eventually, I had to take things into my own hands and received the PC to troubleshoot myself. After 3.5 days of troubleshooting, running stress tests, analyzing crash dump and log files, I find the issue. See the pictures, attached. My findings: The GPU driver was never installed, but instead the default Windows Update driver was installed. None of the BIOS drivers had been installed. This meant that plugging speakers in for sound didn't work either, among other things. I notice some strange readings while gaming on the 12V rails coming out of the PSU going to the GPU, dipping down under 11.4V at times. One of the only components that I didn't supply. The reason for all the crashes? After doing a LOT of software troubleshooting, I decided to open up the case to take a look at the guts. There are two PCIe power ports to the GPU. Mercury Computers plugged both of them in on the same power rail. I was furious.

He bent down and looked in the drawer where all of the new fresh pairs were kept. He takes out a pair and says oh these are them, and I said "no, I'm sorry they're not, they're not the right color." He said, "yes they are, they are the same model number as the one you just showed me." (Rodinara MK5009). I told him that through my research I noticed that there are four pairs they go under this model number, but they are just different colors (Silver, gunmetal, rose/pink, and gold). He said, "oh well, we just go by the MK4digit here." You could tell he was getting slightly flustered because it was apparent that I was more knowledgeable in the product that he is supposed to be selling to me. Thankfully not too long after, we found the exact pair that I wanted and I went up to the register. During checkout, I felt extremely rushed. I understand it's supposed to be a quick transaction, you know, the usual swipe your card, sign, etc., but it just seems like he couldn't wait for me to leave so that he can move onto the next potential customer. Nevertheless, the store is incredibly clean, welcoming, and thankfully stocked.
