We talked for awhile, got the problem diagnosed, the guy at the desk called the owner to confirm the part being ordered, great. Get to a week later, I call back about the part because I need it replaced. "Oh, $, we never got that ordered. I was mowing my lawn when he called me and..." Oh boy. Not good. Let's review: * Immediately refunded my deposit * Continued investigation and found they DID get it ordered * Did not demand a new deposit * Continued tracking the package, even though it seemed to be lost - well beyond the expected Tuesday-Wednesday timeframe. * It arrived while I was at work, really didn't have time to fix it. But he called me up to let me know and we worked out a time - he personally promised to set that time aside for me. I showed up, he confirmed it was the right screen, we went through some tests - it was glitchy - then he rebooted and it seems to have unglitched. As I now touch my screen to confirm, Device Surgeon got it done. They fought the mail, they put the customer first, and navigated a tricky situation successfully. YES. there is usually a wait and then the time it takes to *be* serviced takes at least 30 minutes. do i spend more money than i want to? yes. i want to SPEND NO money. but i need a dumb case or insurance or a new charger and this can cost anywhere from an extra $40-120 bucks. but the service here is good and it's always good. the manager here is very laid back and easy to work with and accommodating and nice. there's an associate there named Joey Brilliante and while i wouldn't say he lives up to his last name he is super nice. he not only helped me two days in a row with my idiotic questions he also helped me sync my bluetooth to my car because i could NOT figure it out.

The unprofessional individuals representing to themselves as customer support workers for Verizon, straight talk wireless and simple mobile wireless tried to misrepresent when the actual facts were on the screen of my receiving the same amount of gigabytes for a third of what I had paid to refill my service... Requesting they just look at my accounts, as I've been a customer several times.. And they continued to attempt to play an individual out of pocket, as if there is NO responsible entity or monitoring system available to check or curtail such behavior _ In the guise of customer service.. Again, only reason this is under the Verizon logo has nothing to do with any individual interaction at any Verizon store or staff_ has specifically to do with previous two companies named( straight talk and simple mobile) and the adjoining factor of Verizon in or on my phone possibly as it's manufacturer.

Four stars instead of five for two reasons: 1. I made an appointment online and that didn't matter because at check in they asked all the information I'd already submitted. I'm nervous it will malfunction in the future but at least there is a warranty.
