On April 27th 2026 at 7pm I visited the store to pick up a warranty replacement device after receiving confirmation that it was ready. From the beginning, the interaction was disorganized and unprofessional. I had to repeatedly explain my purpose, and I was not properly guided through the process. I was not informed of required steps such as providing my IMEI or completing payment before being allowed to begin setting up the replacement device, which created unnecessary confusion. Throughout the interaction, I remained cooperative and attempted to resolve the situation by offering multiple reasonable options, including paying immediately, pausing the setup, returning at a later time, or canceling the order entirely. Despite this, staff repeatedly pressured me about closing time. However, another customer who arrived later was assisted without being given the same urgency or restrictions, which was inconsistent. The situation escalated when I requested that my order be canceled and asked for confirmation. Staff refused to provide any documentation or proof. The store manager then escalated the situation further by calling the police and falsely stating and emphasize that I was being "irate". I believe that was done because people know that the police mean to harm African American and mostly shoot and ask questions later. So I based off her actions I believe she meant to have me harmed. I don't believe the real issue was me leaving because even when I was leaving they both followed me and I really thought the employee was going to attack me as she was aggressively yelling profanity and threats at me where walking up on me as I'm by the door. The manager Jasmine just stood there and laughed and smiled as I was leaving and again rather than de-escalate the situation I believe she wanted me to be harmed. read more

T-Mobile Authorized Retailer - Mobile Phones Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

Went in this afternoon to upgrade two iPhone XR and in the process, the young lady who helped me Xio was very kind informative and professional! I left with two brand new iPhone14 and with a smile on my face. Will be returning again when needed. This location is awesome! read more

I was given false information by Joe that I had 14 days to fix my old phone and receive the same trade-in price. After already fixing the screen to my old phone, I look at the receipt and see a different price offered and a turn in date with much more time. I called the location and they confirmed that the trade in price is only allowed on the day of sale and not eligible after. It was very upsetting to spend the money to fix my old phone screen for nothing. read more

Don't let Joseph "assistant manager" take care of you. He's only interested in the sale and doesn't care of the customer. He pushes the customers with line issues to his other coworkers. (They clean up his mess) HE DOESNT KNOW HOW TO HANDLE STRESSFUL SITUATIONS. read more

Add a half-star to this. I am no longer anxious about going to a T-Mobile store!!! I always walk into phone stores a little guarded because I always feel robbed after leaving.... This visit was different! I walked in after a long day of work and buried in the stress of having the world's sh-ttiest phone. I was immediately acknowledged. The place was busy but it was nice that they know I'm there and was told that they would be able to assist me as soon as possible. There were several people ahead of me but some minutes into waiting, Zeke came by, properly introduced himself and told me that he would be helping me. That really set the tone for the rest of the time I was there- over an hour! I essentially updated my phone and service for a fraction of what I expected to pay, got an amazing deal, got hooked up with sweet accessories and yet that entire time did not feel like a chore at all. It felt like I was shopping with a close friend. The stress of dealing with your phone service is gone when you go here. I'm going to start going there just to pay my bill! read more

Bought a $100 card for 1000 minutes for my Mom. They didn't get the order right, and gave my 88y/o Mom a $30 a month data plan with only 160 minutes. My mom can barely answer the phone-let alone use text or other data. Of course the money was gone in under 4 months instead of 12 months. When I realized this, I was on the phone with them several days for over 2 hours, trying to get this resolved. They would not correct their mistake-even though I have a business account with them for several years- with minimal complaints. Their customer service consists of mindless drones. Obviously they don't care about you once you join. read more

The 3 Stooges work here... No joke...None of them know what they are doing nor are they capable of giving you the correct information. However, this is a direct reflection on T-Mobile. Took a damaged phone in.... Charge me $50 deposit for a late model loaner.....Tell me to call their insurance provider to replace phone at $150.... Insurance provider says I am able to upgrade for $175.... take it back to this location... the 3 Stooges look bewildered for like 10 minutes... tell me my account is not cleared or something ... it should be OK in the morning... WHAT? .... Call T-Mobile... representative in the Philippines I talked to says I am not eligible for an upgrade and to fix the phone it costs $175. LIVID! I just want my cell phone back, I use it for work.... Never again T-Mobile... You're done! Inexperienced service! Lost time and a big hassle to do business here. Avoid this location especially. To followup... I go to return the loaner phone... and set up the new one... these a-holes just hand me the phone without setting it up.... I'm writing the CEO of T Mobile....! ... Best way to get results! read more

This store is awesome. Marcus E., Edgar S,. and Zeke N. were all so very helpful. They have great personalities, and don't just have the sales mindset in their approach. They explain everything so you understand it..because let's be honest, cell phone contracts, charges and all of that can get confusing. They all seem to love their jobs, and it shows in their attitude. My boyfriend and I went in to get info on the promo they're having to have you switch from any carrier to tmobile, and we left as tmobile customers. We will always go to them for any future help. I highly recommend these guys and this store. Guys, I can't thank you enough for all your help, and making it FUN to get a new cell phone. You've got customers for life!...well as long as we live here anyway...and if we move to another neighborhood, I'll probably still go out of my way to come to your store! Keep doing what you're doing! Oops. I just realized I gave my review on my boyfriends yelp...but I read it to him and he agreed. So it's from the both of us! (Don't worry guys, I'll do a separate review on my eom account. Hehe) read more

My phone decided that it no longer wanted to work right, so I visited this T-Mobile to see what I could do. That's where I met Marcus English. This man's customer service game is ON. POINT. I practically yelled "shut up and take my money!" to him. Marcus was very, very helpful, answered all my questions, explained everything I needed to know in plain English AND took a picture with me and my new phone. Thanks Marcus & everyone! This T-Mobile Rocks! read more

Let the ridiculousness commence. I called to check a price on a specific phone (because T mobile engages in this not - so - fabulous practice of advertising one price on their website and then jacking up the price in their stores... AND they will NOT match the price in store. ) I ask the store girl what the price of the phone is... she tells me "if you qualify, it would be no money down then just a small payment on your monthly phone bill." Whaaaaaaatttt? This is part of the problem with the financial situation in this country! You know this script works on plenty of sheeple. Bad form. I politely clarified my question- and asked again what the price was "in dollars." I was put on hold....and.... CHRISTMAS MUSIC! ITS FREEKING JULY 4TH weekend, why oh why would I want to hear Santa Claus is coming to town? She comes back with $849. Guh? Me: Your website says $649. Her: yeah that's for only QUALIFIED purchases. Me: is that the same price you charge in the store for "qualified" purchases? Her: no. Me: well, what IS the price? Her: $699 Me: finally, that is what I wanted to know. WTH... ? read more

Since I have to give this place one star, I have to find some way to justify it. The star that they automatically get is for the cleanliness of the store. beyond that this is the worst T-mobile retailer I have ever been to. I came in to upgrade my phone. I got a Nexxus 4 and my husband got an iPhone 5. They have a sign outside that says upgrade your smart phone for $99. So I thought nice, $200 for both right? Wrong! The guy then tells me it's really $150 per phone because you have to pay taxes on the entire original price of the phone ($700). Whatever, I pay the additional $100. After a few days my husband decided that he liked my phone better and we decided to take it back and exchange it for something better. First of all, there is a $50 restocking fee that isn't credited to the price of the new phone. okay whatever we pay the fee and want to move forward with getting the new phone. They then say they refunded the excess I already paid onto my credit card and that it would be refunded in three days... Why couldn't they just apply the rest to the new phone? Well, I was planning on using that towards the phone so I decided to wait the three days when the funds come back. Well they never did. I went back to the store to tell them that they never sent the money and that they needed to credit the money back to me, the man tells me "we don't refund something we already refunded". Well that's great and all, but you didn't refund it. I then call T-mobile customer service to see if they can do something, but they inform me that only the store can refund the money. So they call the store and get the same response, except the T-mobile customer service rep said that wasn't acceptable if the money never posted to my bank account. We were then told that the "manager" would have to handle it, but he was out until Monday and that he would call me then. Monday comes still no money in my account and no phone call from the manager. Tuesday I go back to the store with my bank statement. The manager tells me that sometimes the credit card companies hold refunds for 30 days and to come back then. Thirty days later I come back still no refund. And he refuses to give it back. I have decided to depute the original charge with my bank. I seriously would stay clear of this place! read more

Went to four different Tmobile stores to find thw customer service I require. Yesterday, I found Zeke. He was as patient as I needed. He answered ALL of my questions and did not rush me or seen annoyed at all. (I ask a lot of questions.) He gave me honest a answers to help me decide what phone would beat suit my wants and needs. Even when there were other customers waiting, he still patiently took his time with me. He made me feel like an important individual and treated that way. He was happy to help. Thank you! I would highly recommend THIS tmobile store! Happy shopping! read more

Set out to get my contacts and number transferred to my new T-Mobile phone. Pretty straightforward, right? They apparently couldn't do either of those things, and redirected me to another T-mobile. Wat??? read more

This is the closest T-mobile store to my house so I've been on two different occasions and have ended up needing to go to another store or contacting T-mobile customer service immediately after. I was getting a new phone through Jump on Demand and customer service told me to return my old phone to a T-mobile store. They claimed that they couldn't accept the phone so I went to another store a mile away on Milwaukee ave who immediately and happily accepted my phone. I went back today because I needed a new sim card and after unsuccessfully trying to upsell me on a bunch of accessories I did not want, they sent me home with a sim card attached to my husband's line instead of my line so again, I had to call customer service to get everything straighten out. I will never go back to this T-Mobile. read more

It was time to upgrade so we decided to go to this store because we were in the area. I normally dread going into T-mobile because there is always so many people but this store had plenty of employees, I did not have to wait. The employees exceeded my expectations. They were extremely knowledgeable. They give us the undivided attention we needed. I walked out super happy and felt like I got a great deal! Thank you to all the employees and manager!! read more

This T-Mobile Store has excellent Customer Service. I was assisted by Zeke. He was very patient and knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions and really took time to help me get exactly what I wanted and needed with my phone upgrade in a minimum amount of time. While I was there, more customers were assisted by other employees, who also seemed very patient and friendly. I highly recommend this T-Mobile store. read more

Customer service was great really recommended working with Edgar and zeke.....great experience

Kudos to Jasmine and the staff at this T Mobile location! I stopped in with some phone issues late last Saturday afternoon. It was within the last hour or two that they were open, and the weather was beautiful. As i walked in, I was immediately cheerfully greeted by Jasmine. Both she and the other associate (whose name I did not get) were already helping customers, however, this did not hinder them from saying hello. I listened to them interact with the people they were helping. They sounded... well, NICE. They seemed knowledgeable, yet they appeared to be having fun. Never did I get the feeling that the staff did not want to be there, or that they did not want me there. When it was my turn, Jasmine listened to my problems, and was totally sympathetic. I know she had a long and busy day, but her energy never dropped, and the smile never left her face. She reset some stuff, cleared something out on my phone, and explained what she was doing the whole time. My phone is working better, however I may need a new one anyway. But I know exactly where I will go when I do! read more

I just went in to this store about half an hour ago because my My-Touch 4g phone locked up on me and I was not able to open it at all. This is the sixth one of this same phone I have had from T-Mobile (though not from this store. T-mobile has a policy of inconveniencing their customers, so I had to order them over the phone) each one of which has been "refurbished" which is tmobile speak for "broken." The young woman who helped me looked up my account and said I could get a free upgrade, which of course I could not just do in the store, but this is not her or the stores fault, it is the policy of t mobile- inconvenience, you know. So she set that up and I thought I would have to wait til tuesday to use my phone again, but after setting up the free upgrade, she messed with my phone and somehow got it working again. yay! I just want to say this is the ONLY positive experience I have had in a T-Mobile store in the past two years, or since the AT&T merger fell through and t-mobiles service has gone straight to hell. I have to give this store 4 stars just because it was fast, courteous, and effective help. The exact opposite of what I have come to expect from T-mobile. If you are stuck in a contract with these monsters or just really like terrible service, I would highly recommend this store. You will have enough headaches dealing with the service reps on the phone. At least this one store has their shit together so you can get a respite from the nightmare that is typical of t-mobile. read more

The two ladies who helped me at this T-Mobile were extremely friendly, answered all my questions plus more, and provided above average customer service, which at times is hard to come across. As for the T-Mobile phones I recommend the Galaxy S8. They offer a lot of great promotions, giveaways, free use of data for specific apps like Netflix, Pandora, Google Play, and tons more. I recommend this particular T-Mobile store as well as the T-Mobile service. read more

I had great service from the sales people here. I think they have new management and the atmosphere was fun and helpful. I had to return the phone I'd bought on the first visit for reasons beyond T-Mobile's control and the staff were very helpful and didn't make an issue of the return. read more
