So, my goal was to get a newer phone and to get my information backed up and transferred. I was paired with Ashley. And I want to say this ahead of time. She is very knowledgeable about the Apple product line. However, where this became very problematic is that she didn't really seem to want to share that knowledge with me. Every time I asked a question, she would roll her eyes and sigh at me, like a spoiled teenager, sometimes not even answering. Being a generation older than her, just about every response was met with the attitude of yes, why don't you know this? Her customer service skills could've used a lot of work. Specifically, soft skills. Also, I didn't sign up for being there over THREE HOURS to get all of this done. She kept trying to upsell me different Apple products to me. I had to say several times that I really just wanted to get a new phone and get everything transferred there and get to my other errands. And because she had my phone and was running into problems with backing it up, which she only explained to me after she started doing the process , I was stuck there with this unpleasant person for the better part of the afternoon. It was incredibly awkward and she seemed disrespectful. Before I went there, I was paying on average about $90 a month for everything I needed with my phone. By the time I was leaving, aside from the phone itself as EVERYTHING WAS SOLD SEPARATE SEPARATELY, I am now in the hole for over $200 a month. And, she was annoyed because she wasn't going get some kind of employee commission because I was not linking this to my bank account but rather my credit card. No chance in h*ll I was going to let them do that. Every moment I was trying to check out, she kept mentioning and pushing about trying to get my home on their Internet service as well. The replacement battery was put in cheaply, and Apple would not touch the phone. The service person will not listen to you. The owner will talk to you and tell you they do authentic Apple batteries, but the foreign kid behind the counter does not comply. Do NOT bring your Apple phone to this place. Both AT&T and store promotions . We were required to trade in our phones . STILL WAITING FOR THE MONEY !!. We have contacted AT&T numerous times , and were told to go back to the store . Went back to the store 5 times to have this addressed . Store management was uncaring and only contacted upper management after our insistence . That was 3 weeks ago . Still no word from AT&T or the store. They owe us $800 and we have paid full retail price for our phones . Avoid this store and AT&T ! Poorly managed , dirty and unorganized . This is now December and we are still fighting with them ! Go anywhere else !
