Just because the employees act foolishly, doesn't call for a business to be called out for poor practices. Matt made well on the deal and I apologize for using such harsh comments. Then again, had I not posted online, the issues would have gone to the wayside. If you have problems with Mobile Rescue (any location) contact them here and get your issues resolved: Customerservice@mobilerescuetechrepair.com It's unfortunate I had to go this route, but when you're out nearly $200 (during the holiday season) and additional money is required to fix the problem, I felt this was the only way of getting the attention needed to come to a resolution. This should be posted for all to know; this team preforms a weekly round-table meetings to discuss issues that arise from one week to the next. And they make good on their discussions, bravo. Being that this is a "veteran owned business", as posted on the front door, it is awesome to know that this American hero, is willing to serve and protect, even now that he's part of civilian life.  A good dude, refunded all of my money & fixed the 2nd issue without hesitation. I went in to have a phone repaired. It was too old and would not light up. We tossed it and l bought a used phone for my granddaughter she is very happy with it. I had my battery changed and now l have 2 Apple warnings. They are both for improper parts used. I am going to bring it back in and talk to the person who fixed it. I do not like having red warnings showing on my phone. I ended up buying a new I Phone from Apple. No authorized Apple Dealer would fix the problem. The replacement battery was put in cheaply, and Apple would not touch the phone. The service person will not listen to you. The owner will talk to you and tell you they do authentic Apple batteries, but the foreign kid behind the counter does not comply. Do NOT bring your Apple phone to this place. Bring it to an Apple authorized dealer! read more

Went there to fix my iphone 14 pro max after it got ran over it was completely destroyed ahmet the dude who "fixed" replaced it with a back glass that had NO apple logo he then said he'd fix a week after for "free" the back glass on everything cracked and destroyed itself INSIDE my pocket it was such terrible material I went there a week after explained and he made me pay $50 for a terrible replica back glass which atleast had the apple logo but not even a week after also cracked from dropping it on the floor from my COUCH it was a 10 inch drop not even, SPEND YOUR money ELSEWHERE! read more

Lasha was great. Luckily, they had a screen in stock to replace the one I broke a few days before Christmas. He had it completed quickly and it looks even better than the broken one. I've been sending other family members to this exact location for all their cell phone repairs. They have helped my kid and I in the past and will continue to be our go to place. I have to say to anyone thinking about using there services don't please .They are incompetent at what they do . I took my Samsung S21 in for a battery change, after I left my screen went blank. Went back to the store and was told my phone had water damage ,and I either needed a new mother board and/or a new screen which would be about $250. Left there and went to a different shop and lo and behold! $30 dollars later they fixed it ... Apparently the screen had not been re-attached properly and that was all that was wrong - definitely go here if you want inferior and indifferent service - I will not be returning and have shared my experience with my family and friends ... read more

I am changing my 1 star review for Mobile Rescue on Federal Road in Danbury to a 4 star review. In April I brought an iPod in for repair and it seems that in the shuffle of moving and changing management the device went missing. The new manager Gerard immediately looked into the situation and quickly resolved the problem He was very concerned and conscientious in regards to recovering and repairing the device. Unfortunately the iPod had a more severe issue than a simple battery replacement and was not able to be repaired. As long as Gerard is the manager of this business I would bring any device in for a repair. Thank you Gerard for your effort. read more

NEVER AGAIN! They have had my mac for 2 weeks. They are unable to locate it. They refuse to have a manager speak to me when I call in and ask. They tell me they are not responsible for the device and they sent it to another location. They keep changing the predicted price (just $50 at a time but multiple times). The only offer they could make was to try to locate my device but it would not be repaired. I told them I am going to send the police to the store, I consider the device stolen at this point. $1200 item is no small crime! I won't rest until no one ever uses this store again and they are out of business. read more

If I could leave no star I would. I brought in my laptop due to it not turning on. After a week I hadn't heard anything so I stopped in. Chris told me that the charging port needed to be replaced. He said that he would order a new port. After not hearing from him for a week I stopped by and he said it was done. I paid for it but the power cable had been misplaced. I went home and luckily my daughter has the same computer. I used her power cord and the computer didn't turn on. This is after Chris "fixed" it. I dropped it off again. I told him to call me before he did any other repairs so I would know the price. Well a week later I called and he said he ordered another port and he ordered a new battery which I hadn't given the go ahead. So he had the computer for 5 more days. He promised us twice about when we could pick it up. The weird thing was that the computer never moved from the spot we left it the second time. It was right inside the door on a table off to the side. The whole time I felt it was strange it would be left where it could be taken. So the day that it was promised I stopped in. It was not repaired so I left with my computer and I was out my initial payment. I was told by another employee to bring the computer back the next day to have the port removed and he would credit me back. Instead of having him touch the computer again I brought it to a repair shop that was recommended by a friend. Well I found out that Chris had not touched the computer at all. The original port was still in place! The reason I know the computer sat on the same table that whole time is because I stop at Starbucks everyday and would look in to see if maybe it was being worked on. So I did go and he refunded my payment. I did not get into the conversation about being lied to due to the fact he had multiple customers in the store. I have never left a review but people need to know the Mobile Rescue in Danbury is not the place if you need electronics repaired. I have now heard from numerous other people I know that have had issues with them. I hope Chris fixes the way things are done there. read more

Beware!! I brought my iPhone there with a cracked screen for a replacement and I left with such a plethora of problems. They ended up replacing the screen and messing up all the internal components. Several trips to Apple for repairs later, Apple ended up replacing my phone because the damage done was so extensive. They buy cheap parts and hire literally anyone with no actual qualifications to preform the repairs. This was my second horrific experience there and I will never step foot in any one of these chop shops ever again! Believe me, it's worth the few extra dollars (literally) to bring your phone to Apple and get it fixed by actual professionals. Would've saved me so much grief! read more

If they can not fix your electronic they ship it off accross the state. They did that with my laptop to fix the screen. Quoted 200 -600 depending on screen type. We told them regardless of if it can or can not be fixed we needed the laptop back before I left for college in over a week. 5 days went by without a call or any update. We visited 3 days before I needed to leave but it wasnt back. We told them to just return the laptop as it had a cover,stickers and personal/school information on it. We went in the day before my college move in day, 1 min before closing as they requested, and SURPRISE no laptop. I had to leave for college without a laptop to take class on. I will be going back today in the hope of picking up my laptop or restitution. I will keep Yelp and the BBB updated. In the end, don't trust these people with your computer or personal information. read more

iPhone 6s Camera Replacement - Absolutely Fantastic Service!! Cannot recommend this place enough!! Backstory: My iPhone 6s took a direct hit with a dumbell (yes dum!), I thought it was toast!! (An amazing testimony to Apple though, the phone survived!) After replacing the glass at the Genius Bar @ Apple though I noticed the rear facing camera was no longer working. Since this was where the phone sustained a direct hit it only made sense. After a call to Apple (without AfterCare and out of warranty) I was absolutely blown away to find out it'd be $299 just to LOOK at the phone! Never mind parts/labor etc... after that. I thought it was done. New phone time. Enter Mobile Rescue!... I called these guys on a Friday and was absolutely blown away to here it'd be less than $50 to fix!! Less than $50!! I went to the Federal Road location (they have other locations, inc. Danbury Mall) on Saturday, no GeniusBar appointment necessary! They were pretty quite and a technician by the name of Jaer took care of the phone on the spot! Absolutely amazing! Hand-on-heart cannot recommend this place (and Jaer) enough! He proceeded to replace the camera in front of my very eyes! Extremely proficient, efficient and precise! Literally 20 minutes watching him work and we were done! $46 n'change for a new rear-facing iPhone 6s camera replacement. Before writing your phone off... honestly... bring it to these guys! I saw Jaer and will definitely vouch for this guys proficiency in repairing phones that to non-tech people would be considered absolutely toast. read more

I dropped my phone during the Covid Pandemic it had several chips and a large crack and I wasn't sure if it was the screen protector or the screen itself after reading previous reviews I brought my phone in. A young man wearing a mask met me at the door cleaned my phone and informed me that it was just the screen protector which he promptly politely and professionally fixed for me at a very reasonable price. This was my first time there, but I am giving it raving raving reviews. Customer service was phenomenal, they were very organized, they got my part the next day, the store was "OCD" clean (believe me, I know!) They had to order my part, and 40 minutes later, I got an automatic text message stating that they ordered the part, the confirmation code and it would be in the next day after 12:00. I live in Putnam County NY (ABOUT A 40 MIN DRIVE), but I will take the ride if I need that service again. I have a cell phone repair business 10 minutes from my house but, I am so glad that I called them. So, if you're reading this because you need your cell phone repaired this is the place to go! If you have a cracked screen this would be the only reason to go to these people. They took our phone apart, damaged the inside elements, brought it down to the Mobile Rescue in Norwalk, CT and then lost it. After back and forth to the store in Danbury, we had enough. Drove to the Mobile Rescue in Norwalk, CT who said they fixed the phone only to drive back the day later with it broke again. They didn't have time to fix it but charged us $181 the day before. I got my iPhone 5c repaired a week ago and my screen is cracked already and it even has an otter box case! On the business card it says "lifetime warranty" and when I called the company they informed me it is only on "defective screens" well don't ya think there is something wrong with this screen... These guys are fantastic! Stay away from the mall kiosks. So I broke my screen on my IP6 to the point that I couldn't see it. I got a new phone with my sprint insurance which is another rip off. I wanted to get the info off the phone and the mall guys wanted a fortune. All I wanted was someone to put an old screen on it so I can get the data. These great guys did just that!! In the end they were doing it for free as a customer service. I had to force them to take something for their time. These are the go to guys for your phone needs. Was told when they replace my battery that they may crack the back of my phone and if they do they will charge me an extra $57 to fix it due to their mistake. Sounds like a way to squeeze extra money out of their customers to me. A company that isn't confident in their work and will not back their employees mistakes and then charge the customer for it is not a company I would like to do business with. Stopped in on Thursday night after I dropped my phone and cracked the top of the screen, it was late (they are open till 9:00 p.m.!) and I needed the phone the next day, but they explained the process to me. Dropped the phone off the next day, they gave me an accurate quote and a three-hour time frame to pick it up. Due to snow, I said I would wait until the next day. Phone looks as good as new and works great. They also charged and cleaned up the phone and installed a protective cover on my screen at my request. Over the next four weeks, i must have called ten or twelve times, getting a different account each time, and each time being assured that repair was imminent and that the phone would soon be repaired. They do help you right away, but are biased. One person tells you pay first, then they repair. Another person says payment is taken after repair is done. Usually an hour wait. However, with their protection plan, battery replacement is $30 every time so 2 days in a row, that's $60. Also, they bend your phone to put battery in place. They did it to mine. They know how to charge you twice for their protection plan. It happened to me and when I went in to say something, the manager was suppose to come out, instead the associate came back out and told me they'd refund me. Also, they don't check if you have a plan. Trying to cancel the protection plan has been a nightmare. I started a chat on 4 different occasions, waited all day, and nothing. When I finally got to chat with someone, they gave me an email address which I got back a MAILER-DAMEON from yahoo. Overall, good price for repairs and protection, but that's it. read more
