I wish I could give zero stars the store manager DANIELLE is an awful employee who scams older clients. She signed my grandmother up for a business account a watch and tablets and she left the store with nothing but a bill. Then she cannot explain how it happened or how to fix it. She just wants sales and money and is doing some serious sales misconduct. This whole store should be investigated. This location on Boston Street has the worst customer service ever. The manager Tee is the worst offender. She scammed my mother and signed her up for a business plan with 3 lines of service. She then told us she had no idea how that happened and would not cancel the account. The worse, not only did they add 2 lines to my account without my consent, they also charged me a charger box and a SIM card that I wasn't even aware of. Not only that they didn't even give me a receipt. I came back and Kenny the manager excuse was it's the promotion. No whatever the case I didn't give consent to none of this. I came in to port in a number and trade in a phone and they never ported in the number. Was trying to save money with att but somehow T-Mobile turned out higher with $300! Michelle (I hope you have 2 L's and not one) is an absolute saint. I went in there HOT yesterday because I realized my elderly neighbor was being taken advantage of. Thankfully the one I was coming for wasn't there. Long story short, a man took advantage of my 81 year old neighbor, got her to open a credit card, add a WiFi extender she didn't need, and she was supposed to get a 300$ rebate. That was like 3 months ago. Well Michelle was able to fix all the stuff that "employee" did and then sent the rebate through. the rebate the man was supposed to do 3 months ago. Not only was Michelle sweet and easy to work with, it was the fact that she knew I was on edge because I thought I was going to run into the man who screwed over my neighbor, but Michelle understood and didn't take it offensively. I was never rude to her, she just saw I was angry, heard me, acknowledged that I had a right to be angry and then she fixed it. She is just a good human. Sigh. I was excited to see a T-Mobile store in the city but the staff here are not friendly or helpful. I went in to get a new screen case and the lady yelled at me. Don't come here for any service changes because they can't even get a screen cover replacement for you. Not even putting it on just getting it for you. This was my second time to try to get a new phone screen, and this location has the worst smells. Perhaps that's why the employees all hate their lives and are horrible to people. read more

Do not go to this store if you want to process a warranty exchange. T-mobile's policy regarding warranty replacement is clear no cracks, physical damage or water damage. The T-Mobile representative Ella saw an extremely fine scratch smaller than a dime on my screen and said it has to be perfect. I've came to this store multiple times and have recognized they do this consistently to force customer to upgrade instead of swapping their phones. If you need to do a warranty replacement tell them you'd prefer to do it via mail. The stores clearly have a bias and are looking to get incentivized through upgrades! T-Mobile lied about their coverage: After doing my research and getting great recommendations, I switched from XFinity to T-Mobile. Before committing, I asked: what happens if I sign up with you and there are dead zones at or near my house? The sales guy proudly assured me that this would not be a problem, showing me a map of FULL COVERAGE of my entire area (North Baltimore). Well, guess what: there are dead spots all around my neighborhood and calls drop or don't go through in several spots in my house. While taking a walk around the block, a call to my sister dropped 7 TIMES until she finally suggested we give up until I get back to my house. But calling from the house, even when it goes through, the call can drop. We got new phones as part of the switch so it's not the phones. But now we're locked into a 2-year contract. Their customer phone service is great, and my they spent a long time with me on the phone to investigate. Ultimately they acknowledged the issue but said there's nothing they can do about it. This is a very dangerous situation for two seniors -- what happens in an emergency if we can't reach 911? A friend of mine in Silver Spring, MD switched to T-Mobile and is having the same problem, so it's not where I live. Is there anything I can do to get out of this contract given that what they promised is not what they delivered? read more

This review is in regard to the Boston Street/Canton 3rd Party T mobile location only; and not T-Mobile overall. Bought a new T mobile iphone from this location. This was an awful experience, and I am in the process of reporting this location to the BBB of Maryland and to the Attorney General's office for fraud. I told them that I wanted to pay for the phone in cash but they drew up a contract for 24 monthly payments, and told me the only way to buy the phone was to proceed and then pay of the entirety of the balances afterwards. I pushed back, and so they started the process over again and let me pay cash, but then at the time of payment insisted that they could not sell me a phone unless I also payed for an accessory. I told them I have no need for an accessory but they would not sell me the phone without one. So I bought a $20 dollar phone charger that is sitting in a drawer at home unused. They also charged me a $35 phone activation fee, which I guess is standard at T mobile but would have been avoided buying the phone at an Apple store. When I signed for the phone, I thought I was just paying for the phone in cash (there was no way to read the whole contract on the iPad they had me review) but it turns out that I also payed for a phone protection plan (something I did not want, and was never mentioned to me). When I called T mobile to complain, they told me that the only way to cancel the protection plan to was to return to the store, because this is a 3rd party vendor. So here I am, with the issue still not resolved. Save yourself a headache, and just go to an apple store to buy your iPhone, or go to a real T mobile store and not this sleezy 3rd party vendor. read more

This is more so about the customer service rather than any particular store. I needed a new pone, mine wasn't working properly anymore. I went to the store and inquired about what I needed to do and how much it would cost to get in the phone I needed for work. They gave me a price and I returned to the store with the money. When I went to make the transaction, the amount had changed. I then called customer service about my dilemma and they said there was nothing they could do so I asked them what's to stop me from switching carriers? They told me they didn't want that to happen, but had no solution for my problem. So I went to the sprint store to switch carriers and get the phone I wanted. While there, I called TMobile to import my number and cancel service. They begged me not to go and I told them they should have helped me when they had the chance. They had someone call me shortly after and try to give me what I asked for in the first place to stay. REALLY?! I told them it was too late and why did they tell me they couldn't help me if they actually could to keep me from leaving! A couple months later, FOR THE FIRST TIME, I get a bill saying I owed more money than I should have and I called to see why. Apparently they were still charging me for the second line because I didn't "technically" ask them to cancel the second line. I asked they why I would cancel one line and not the other, that didn't make any sense and why didn't the person on the other end ask me if I was canceling both?! I asked to speak to a supervisor when the tech kept talking in circles and wouldn't help me. She said the same thing. I told them they are not showing good customer service. We don't know the protocol cuz we don't work there. The person on the other line should have explained that I needed to "specifically ask" to turn off my service. THEY KNEW I WAS CANCELLING! WHY WOULD THEY BEG ME TO STAY AND OFFER ME THINGS TO STAY IF THEY DIDN'T KNOW I WANTED TO CANCEL!!!!!????? I then called a corporate number, they are a German based company but have a call center in North Carolina. I explained the situation to 2 people there as well and all they would tell me is that the "charges" are valid. I said of course YOU'RE gonna say that. So they're fine with not informing their customers of the protocol and charging them money on a technicality. ABSURD! I explained they are loosing a customer for life and anyone else who heads my warning over roughly $130 and that was just stupid for a huge business like this. I gave them every chance to redeem themselves and they did not care at all or try to make things right. Speaking politely on the phone while NOT resolving customer issues is NOT good customer service! DO NOT USE TMOBILE! They are liars and thieves! I will be disputing the charges and spreading the word so others don't get taken advantage of like I was. read more

Wireless mobile phone stores have become ubiquitous. However this is the only one that is not an agent in the Canton area, that I know of. Most of the time that I visit (from time to time), the staff is so very friendly and helpful. I like coming to see and consider the new phones that are showcased here. BUYER BEWARE OF THIS TMOBILE--THEY WILL TRY TO CON YOU!!! My daughter and I went to this store to purchase a new iPhone. We'd researched online and called TMobile beforehand so we knew exactly what we wanted and how much it was going to cost. At the store, we were helped by Kye G. After getting my daughter's new phone from the back he tells us she can also get a new case, screen protector, AND one item from a specific area of accessories. I asked Kye if this was some sort of promotion and he tells me that TMobile wanted to give her these items so that she'd tell her friends how great TMobile is. I asked him point blank if they were FREE and he said YES. I'm suspicious and asked a bunch of questions which Kye continued to answer maintaining that we would not be paying for these extras. When the down payment is higher than we expected he tells me there is an upgrade fee and the taxes are more than usual on this purchase. My daughter chose her extras, Kye put the screen protector on the phone, put the phone in the case, put the headphones she'd chosen in a bag, ran my credit card for the down payment, upgrade fee, and tax, printed and folded the receipt and sent us on our way. I reached into the bag to review the receipt (because I still do not believe TMobile is giving us these items worth nearly $400) and I see the phone listed with the price and then the down payment in the far right column. There's also the case, screen protector, and headphones. The price is listed as it is on the phone, but in the far right-hand column is $0. But down at the bottom, it says, "Installment Purchases Total $985.76" I ask him about this and at first, he shows me that the amount of the extras is zero. Upon closer inspection, I see this right-hand column is for "Down Payment Due Today." When I ask why it says $985.76 at the bottom, he acts confused and pretends to pull it back up on the computer. Meanwhile, I call TMobile from my phone to ask about this transaction. I ask the TMobile representative, Darryl, on the phone if my account was showing $22/month for 24-months for this purchase. Darryl says, "Yes, you will be paying $22/month for 24-months for the phone." I ask him to clarify what he means by "for the phone" and he tells me there are 3 other items in the transaction and the monthly installments for those will be another $17. While I'm on the phone with Darryl, both of the other men working in the store have come over to the computer Kye is on and they're all pointing to the screen and talking under their breath. In the end, these extras were removed from our account (Kye even removed the screen protector!) but I firmly believe this store is operating a scheme and intend to notify TMobile corporate offices as well as law enforcement. I have only had to go there one time since the person on the phone wasn't able to help, but the staff was friendly, helpful, and quick to solve my problem. Basically, I had to exchange a phone when I was on T-mobile Jump. THey quickly went through the process, got me a new phone, checked everything and sent me on my way. read more

This review is in regard to the Boston Street location only and not T-Mobile overall. This location is HORRIBLE. I've had two experiences now of being lied to by their employees. I'm not sure if they are intentionally dishonest or just incompetent. For example, after telling the employee I was considering/comparing them to Metro PCS (which utilizes T-Mobile's network), I was told the price T-Mobile quoted me included all taxes and fees when trying to make my decision to choose them as a carrier. FALSE! T-Mobile has since added a plan with this feature but they did not have it at that time. My interactions with T-Mobile's corporate office have been much more productive. T-Mobile is great. But regarding this location, buyer beware - shop at your own risk at this location. read more

This is by far one of the best T-Mobile stores I go to,the manager Kaisha Brown is always there to greet me and all her other customers with a smile,you can always find her working on something,and I love how she puts her all in her job just to make the experience top notch,I go to nobody but her,and she answers every question that I may have,even the ones that I've asked other reps at other stores,and got a one word answer,Kaisha takes her time and explains it step by step,if it wasn't for her,I probably wouldn't still be a T-Mobile customer,they have great service,but they lack sometimes,and Kaisha was always there to break down whatever was wrong bill wise! My son and I were searching for a new phone plan on the 10th of November and happened across the T-Mobile on Boston Street. The minute we walked in the door, there was a greeting and a comfortable feeling. Kaisha Brown, the store manager, was excellent with her knowledge of all the different plans and how we could easily transfer from Verizon to T-Mobile and save money. She answered all our many questions and was happy to help in any way possible. We ended up switching over and the superstar assistant, Brad, was very experienced in the technology of the phone. He made it fun with his music playing in the background to get all the information transferred to our new phones. Hi I am a T-Mobile customer and I visit the T-Mobile store on Boston Street and I spoke with a young lady I do believe she at the store manager her name is Keisha Brown and I was speaking with her about the different plans that T-Mobile has and a different packages because I was thinking about getting another phone for my daughter and she really gave me some knowledge on a whole T-Mobile plans and the phones and everything's she was very pleasant and she took pride in what she was doing he was courteous and she listened to every word that I had to say where I've been to some T-Mobile stores and other cell phone companies where they don't let you finish saying what you have to say they have cut you off like they know everything or like what you're going to say but she listened and she responded back with a nice positive answer and I really do appreciate it and I would like to say to her keep up the good work and I will visit the T-Mobile store again on Boston Street thank you very much Mr. Spruell read more

I decided to switch my phone service from ATT to T Mobile. I went to the T Mobile store on Boston Street and was given "royal" treatment by Shane and the manager, Chris Eagle. I have iPhones and wanted to keep them, I was referred to Howard Electronics by Shane for unlocking the phones. I went there and was again treated royally. I was promised service within a week which turned into two weeks.... howard Elec. never picked up a phone and NEVER returned VM's. It has been six months now and T Mobile (Chris Eagle) has left it up to me to file complaints. My bank (Suntrust) makes it almost impossible to file a complaint against a merchant. The hurdles are too much. I have the paperwork to validate my claim and am being pursued by T Mobile for my past due account. I'm hoping an ambulance chaser reads this as I want BLOOD. I want to put them all out of business at this point! I refuse to give these businesses any kind of rating. I'll rate if I have to. It won't be good, though! read more
