I came into this store very bereft, as AT&T had just lied to me and treated me extremely…read moreunprofessionally. My first encounter was with Jordan who took the time (even though they were busy) to sit with me and work through my issues. AT&T refused to give me a transfer pin to switch carriers. They insisted that I had no choice but to pay off my old iPhone 14+ (stolen) before they would issue that 6-digit pin number. Not only is this unethical, but it is also illegal and I have reported their bad business practices to the FCC. Jordan assisted me in developing new passwords, deleting old information and bringing over ALL of my contacts and photos. I was very concerned about my personal data not moving over after AT&T tried so hard to prevent me from switching carriers. But after sitting at the store for some time, everything did transfer over! When I came back into the store a little bit later to hand in my old iPhone 8 as a trade-in, Thomas was available to assist me. He also sat down with me and explained that this process should not have been so complicated. He was able to update my plan, double check that I finally had all of my data and even spoke with his manager regarding a credit after AT&T overcharged me ($222). The bottom line is Verizon has already outperformed AT&T in just 24 hours! Their employees are educated on the process, take the time to explain things to the average customer and go above and beyond to ensure things are taken care of. I am already happy I decided to switch my cellular service to Verizon, and I am telling everyone who is needing a new carrier to go by and visit with Jordan and Thomas!!

I went into Office Depot at 15th and Lewis thinking I might buy a printer. I was none to clear on…read morewhat printer to buy so I walked up and down the printer isle still not clear on the variety of printers available. The office manager came up to me out of the blue and begin asking questions on what I needed the printer to do, what price range I was working at, and finally how often would I use the printer and in what location of the house. It finally clicked that I wanted an inexpensive printer that could survive in my basement area and that since I did not use it very frequently it would be better to buy a laser jet with dry ink that would be easier to maintain in my environment. Steve (the manager) suggested a brother printer that was both inexpensive for a LaserJet with great brand loyalty behind it. He volunteered that he also did not use a printer at home except for the tax season. Steve helped me bundle up the brother print for $120.00 (can you beat that). And helped me through checkout line and delivered the printer to my car outside. How cool is that. I offered a well deserved tip be he refused it saying that a review of his company and services would be reward enough. So here it is Steve. Walked into an empty store around 11am and had 2 associates there. When I asked to see a flip phone (yes i want an old school flip phone to carry along with my iphone), he said well we have them. Then I said well I'd like to see what you have and he said "they are expensive" and I said that I believed I would be able to afford one. Then I asked to see what they have and he said "well I can't take them out of the box" so I can't show you anything. I then barked "well this is explains why the store is empty!" Between the outage Verizon had this week and this lazy sales staff that didn't even stand to greet a walk-in customer or lift a finger to help me spend money at their employer's store....I guess there's no place but up for this store.... cause I can't imagine the customer service could get any worse. When I went into exchange my phone and see what they could do the gal was very nice to work with told me I could trade in my phone and I would only have to pay $160 on a replacement phone that cost $840. I told her I wanted to pay the phone off. She said I needed to turn in my phone within 30 days cleared to get that promotion. Went back in today to surrender my old phone and worked with the manager who told me my phone was only a $180 credit and I would have to pay the rest. I told him that's not what she told me and you need to call her. So he called her and I could hear them on the phone and she confirmed what I said. The manager confirmed she had told me that. He refused to do anything about it other than take a couple services off of two other devices I have to lower my bill $12 a month. Told him leave it, keep the phone and walked out. Horrible manager. Would not recommend this place!
