A female staff member named Adalye (or something like that) screamed at me "SHUT UP" and walked away from the store into their office. This happened after I asked her for a third time to help out to find my phone sim card holder that she lost and didn't' take responsibility for her action but immediately got the defensive aptitude. Her behavior took action in front of store manager, who didn't apologize or took take any action after her unprofessional, disrespectful and rude behavior. I went to another T=mobile store and the staff was very helpful and respectful. I am considering changing phone company if T=mobile have tolerance for this kind of low behaviors. read more

In July 2024 while visiting the T-Mobile store in Largo, MD the representative offered an Apple watch. He indicated that it would only add $10 to my bill. However, when I got my bill it had increased by over $30! I called the customer service line and they adjusted the bill. Great! Right? Not so. A month later my bill showed a $20 increase. I called again, and the representative adjusted the bill and said this would fix the problem. But it did not, and for the next 3 months, these problems continued. We are checking in to the T-Mobile store to switch our phones from AT&T to T-Mobile because their customer service compared to local AT&T stores is second to none! They take the time to explain in as much detail as necessary all of the features of your new plan and your new phone, and they don't pressure you into buying anything that you don't need! This was the most pleasant experience dealing with mobile phone companies that I've had in a VERY LONG TIME! They have military-friendly plans and they have military veterans behind the counter. Caveat Emptor! 18 months or so ago, I bought a phone on promoting - which was supposed to cost me nothing provided I remained a T-Mobile customer for two years. As it turned out neither this promotion nor another that I was promised for a change in service was ultimately given to me. I have spent hours on the phone with T-Mobile customer service. They supposedly went through the recordings of my order - however, the phone upgrade was done in person (which of course the customer service person didn't acknowledge), etc. etc. My lesson: 1. DON'T TRUST T-MOBILE. I now suspect that T-Mobile is as dishonest as any other phone company, but I will find out as soon as I change companies. read more

The representative, Carlos told me that I will get unlimited 5G internet in Canada when I went to the store and based on what he said I got two phones with $0 down payment and since I was leaving for Canada on the same day, I couldn't go back to the store and return the phone as I got to know that the max I could get with T-mobile internet service is unlimited 2G. They issued a UPS label and asked me to return the phones to the warehouse and haven't processed any refund. The Store guys should give correct info to the Customers and should not rip them just for the heck of a sale. Loosers! read more

So you get an ad in the mail, and it says: two free smart phones for $27.50 apiece per month, with automatic payments for two years. You call the number on the ad, and they tell you, when you specifically ask, that you can get a similar deal, three phones for $60 a month, including insurance for losses or damages. You call the store to clarify this, and they tell you, "Oh yeah, for sure, get on in here." You go, and they tell you the $60 a month for the three phone plan, including insurance, was a misunderstanding, or a "miscommunication." You then revert to your original plan to get just two phones. The total, however, involves lots of ad-ons. You have to get protective cases. You have to get screen protectors. There is a significant activation fee, to activate the phone service, and it's required for each phone purchased. Taxes, insurance, an upgrade fee, etc., and before all is said and done, you're not paying $55 a month for the two phones, you're paying a large initial outlay sum and $85 per month, which, by my math, is an increase over the ad's come-on price of about sixty percent. The nastiest surprise, since you're paying out the wazoo, is that the phones don't even have charging plugs; they have charging cords, but you've got to head for Best Buy to get plugs for your wall outlets to insert the cords into. What did they think you were going to do to charge the phones? Put one finger in the phone's cord hole and a wet finger into an electrical outlet? It all comes across as attempts to up-bill you, to add stuff into the final package, to rack up more and more charges for you until there's really no "bargain" at all. And it's a final package that you are stuck with -- like some tar baby attached to your back -- for a minimum of two years. Whatever your objections or questions, there's always a smooth comeback response, obviously, to my perceptions, well-rehearsed. Some bargain. read more

I went there on Black Friday around 5pm to buy 4 lines with my friend and talked to a guy who is so rude and disrespectful. I tried to explain what we needed but he don't want to understand what I said and repeatedly asking me rubbish. He even don't try to help his customers and instead he was nagging with us and even he didn't communicate well with one of his colleague when he stepped in to understand what we needed. This T Mobile store is hands down the best when it comes to customer service, knowledge of their products, and speed of service. I walked in there last week because my phone had died and I wanted to upgrade my phone anyways to get the new HTC One. I was instantly greeted by the manager of the store he took down my name and said someone would be with me within 10 minutes and within 5 minutes I was speaking to Muhammad. I explained to him that I was really interested in the HTC One but that I was torn between that and the samsung galaxy s4. I asked a lot of questions about both phones which he answered throughly, he didn't try and rush me or pressure me into a stupid iPhone. I asked him to be straight up honest with me which phone did he think was better between the two I was interested in, he reached in his pocket and pulled out the HTC One and said he has that phone because he thought that it would be the better of the two but now that he has it he wishes he would have gotten the galaxy. He was friendly and helpful and I am very happy with my purchase. Th we manager even came up to me after the transaction was done and asked me if everything was good. I told him that I was very happy with the service I received, Muhammad was Excell and If I ever need service from a T Mobile store this is the one I'm going to. They are the best bar none. read more

Rude, lacking social skills. Staff standing around talking to one another. Lack of a customer first mindset, blah blah blah. "There's nothing we can do for you," should not be uttered at a wireless provider that prides themselves on being the best and new and hip and whatever. And you certainly shouldn't see employees smoking in front of the building in full uniform. There are better T-Mobile stores that are newer cleaner and better operated all over the DMV and easily accessible. It's worth the trip to skip this one. To be clear I'm a big fan of TMobile and the services and products they provide. The Clarendon store is very nice the store is very friendly. The whole place is very clean and well laid out. This T-Mobile store is awesome. I was referred to this location a few years ago and have been going there every since. The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and expedient. I went to perform a upgrade and it went well. The next day I decided I hated the phone and rushed to the T-Mobile store as soon as they opened. It was a long tedious process and they performed with care and concern for my needs. I came out better after they finished with the process. I went in to purchase a new phone and was going to use a gift card I received as a graduation gift and my debit card to pay for it. I asked the employee helping me if it was ok to do this and he said yes. When I swiped the gift card, the system timed out but still took the money off my gift card without paying down any of the cost of the new phone. Only after the fact did the employee tell me there was an issue with their system and this has happened before. Luckily the gift card company refunded me the money after I disputed the charges. If you plan on using any sort of visa gift card do not come to this store. read more

The guy supposed to be Manager (Tim I think his name is) is supposed to be the expert, however provides no training to his staff, who have no clue how to do a transfer from AT&T to T-Mobile. Tim decides to leave the store to track down an i-phone 7 from another store, leaving the rest clueless, so we're told we should wait for him to come back (an hour). I am disappointed to be writing this. So many promises were made when I started service with T-Mobile: my company participated in a monthly discount on my bill, I would be sent a gift card as a result of merging from Verizon. None of that was true. Furthermore, when I left and returned my phone to this store, I was charged the full balance of the phone. It took months before T-Mobile was finally able to verify the phone was returned. Stick with Verizon or ATT. read more

Not only do they approach you with 'bait and switch' offers for their "jump" program and trade ins, but they then try and hit you up for last-minute 'unforeseen' charges. I'm a long time customer and have always had good experience with them before this. My phone failed while on vacation. We were driving through Alexandria and stopped here to get a Jump plan upgrade. I exchanged my phone for a new one, totally fine. The employee put the recommended screen protector on the phone and then proceeded to spend an hour and a half trying to get my old phone's data to the new phone, unsuccessfully. The store manager left during this process, and the other employee was busy watching videos on his phone until we were ready to walk out the door. He then helped her for a few minutes, but all of my data wasn't moved. We left and continued our drive through VA. Later that night I found two big smudges on the screen that wouldn't come off. After we got back k to Colorado I took the phone to a Fort Collins store to get the screen protector refunded. The rude employees said it was clear the other employee who had applied it had put her fingers on it underneath leaving permanent marks that occlude the screen, buf there was no way they would give me a refund or replace it. I left and called T-Mobile and had the same rude experience, with the tech finally agreeing to credit me for the $25 screen protector while reminding me repeatedly that they would never do this ordinarily but only since I've been with them for 9 years. This bad experience has left me feeling quite unhappy with this company and I will be switching to a competitor. read more
