When I met with the piercer this summer, she told me that the barbell jewelry I wanted would need to be ordered and that she would contact me when it came in. I specifically asked her to please contact me about it, and she assured me that she would. I never heard from her. After waiting about a month, I called the shop myself. I explained the situation to the receptionist and gave her my name and phone number. She told me she would give my information to the piercer so that she could call me. Again, I never received a call. Weeks later I also reached out to the piercer directly and received no response. At that point, I emailed the shop directly hoping that management or someone else could help me. I explained that I had been waiting for an update and simply wanted to know whether the jewelry had been ordered and when I could expect it. I received no response to that message either. That is what ultimately led me to leave this review. It wasn't about having to wait for the jewelry. I understand that special orders can take time. It was being told that I would be contacted, then calling and being told again that the piercer would contact me, reaching out to the piercer myself, and finally contacting the shop directly, and still receiving no response. After all of those attempts, I honestly felt ignored as a customer. I rarely leave negative reviews, which is why this is especially disappointing for me. A simple phone call, message, or email, even just to say there was a delay, would have made a huge difference. Unfortunately, after repeatedly trying to get a simple update and receiving no response, I've decided to go somewhere else for my piercing.

After selecting the jewelry, I'm in the room with Elaine and everything was explained to me thoroughly. There was such a joyful warmth in how Elaine spoke that it completely relaxed me. Got my nose piercing here 3 years ago and my septum piercing 1 year ago…read more Those 2 experiences were great. The nose piercing took some time to heal and there were a few ups and downs. But it was not because of the placement. The septum piercing was extremely quick to heal and I was scared initially because I have a deviated septum. But to be honest, you can't even tell now with the ring in the way! I love it! I'm a bit conflicted because apparently using antibacterial soap is no longer a recommended thing to do as per the APP but this place still provides it as a recommendation. Not sure if that is accurate or not but truthfully with my nose piercing I did the antibacterial soap and I did have a point where it was irritated. Eventually it healed thankfully. With the septum I only did saline spray and it healed beautifully. I'm in a few piercing groups so that is the info that is conflicting to me. That's my experience and I will definitely come back for more! I love it here personally! Can't wait to do more in the near future!
