Just simple and limited options. I tried on some shoes, I was in and out in 25 minutes. I just needed shoes for work. What I will say was lovely was finding wide sneakers. I was today-years old finding out I was a size 9 wide. I had gotten sneakers as large as 10.5 because that's all that fit my odd-shaped camel feet lol (especially Converse Chuck's). Growing up I didn't think anything of getting shoes with an inch of space for my toes. My mom always bought shoes that I would grow into so they would last longer, and I continued to shop this way as an adult. I am embarrassed to say this was probably the first pair of proper-fitting shoe's I've ever bought. Well, okay, two pairs. I wanted one pair for work (I work in healthcare and I step in all manner of bodily fluids and gross sh*t all the time, I just avoid getting anything splashed on my kicks at all cost) and one for walks. Anyways a thing that bugs me is being asked to sign up for the loyalty program. I'm tired of being asked that, I buy sneakers once a year (if that), and I just want to buy stuff without being asked for my phone number and email address. I found a few cute items that I was going to buy and was standing looking at some dresses on a rack, when one of the employees with a name tag that said MIA accosted me out of nowhere. She said, "Did you touch that dress?" She was pointing at a dress to my right on a different rack than the one I was looking at that was hanging half way off of the hanger. I responded no to her smiling and said thank you but I am not interested in that dress. Then she got very aggressive with me and said, "If you touched that dress and it's not hung up correctly then you should make sure you put it back right." I had no idea what she was talking about, I never looked at nor touched the dress. Then it occurred to me that she was implying that I was inconsiderate towards her, which was crazy since I didn't even do anything, but let's say hypothetically that I did. I have worked at numerous clothing stores and would never start yelling at a customer for not hanging up something correctly. I would just fix it because it was my job. Anyway, she continued to come after me with an intense look in her eyes and I was very uncomfortable, so I left the items I was going to buy and texted my husband to meet me at the front of the store. I told one of the employees at the front what happened and he just stared at me and said, "Ummm there's the manager." The manager he pointed to was an older man in a disheveled outfit and gruff demeanor, I think his name was Vincent, and when I told him what happened he said, "Well I wasn't there so I don't know who said what or what happened." I was absolutely shocked by his response. I was clearly shaken up and he made no effort to hear me or make me feel better. It was kind of shocking, I mean, this is the level of professionalism that Nordstrom Rack has with its leadership and customer service? It is a joke. At a minimum he should have apologized and attempted to make me feel better. I HAVE been a manager and I would have apologized to the customer, would have said I would speak to the employee, and that we value your support of our store. It's obvious Nordstrom Rack at this Danvers location could care less how they run the store (which is always a mess), or the people they hire. This was a hugely disappointing experience. My husband and I have always spent a lot of money there, but they have lost us as customers.

First, contrary to written policy, the manager said that I had to have the original tag (on a belt) and then said that they could not look up my purchases using my card history. Of course she was able to do so at my insistence, and then told me that it was not returnable due to not making the 120 day deadline. She was abusive to me, rude, and not looking to solve the problem. I called Capital One and voided the card, but you will never find me at Kohl's again after this unpleasant experience. If she had not lied to me and been so rude, I would have been happy to just purchase another belt. However, I will never be treated this way again.
