What a dream! I honestly didnt know this store existed but so glad I found it while visiting Salem! A Goths dream thats for sure. Upon entering, you are greeted by a massive huge open floor plan of everything black, spooky and horror! There was so much too see and I wanted everything! A few photo op opportunies throughout the store. All the employees were super friendly and efficient. I ended up buying a blackcraft hoodie and decorated my own Salem Tote bag. With the purchase of a $35 tote bag, I get one patch free to put on the bag. If I want more, I of course can purchase however many patches I want. Thomas was HUGE HELP and very pleasant. He helped me with the placement if the patches and explained everything in great detail! Once everything is placed in its desired position, he will go ahead and get everything pressed. I loved it! Just the experience made it worth while for me. My very own custom made tote bag. Overall, great time in this store and I highly recommend visiting when you are in Salem. You could easily spend hours here to look at every single thing.
This was a really cool shop in Salem. The way the merchandise is laid out and the decor is simply magnificent! I was obsessed with the huge giant witch hanging from the calling, that was super cool. I purchased a $60 zip up hoodie that I couldn't say no to. The coffee shop in the back is also super cute. Also has cool decor and the coffee machine is in a shape of a cauldron. The coffee I found to be extremely sweet, so I purchased an extra shot of espresso and it balanced it out. Even if you don't wind up purchasing anything, it's worth taking a stroll through the store.
What an amazing shop- the vibe is gothic but inviting, with a little dark something for everyone. I was pleasantly surprised with the larger size selection of clothing, as well as the price range (ranges pretty widely). It also has a lot of unique to them items which make it a must stop- and the building is so cool! Lovely staff and great spot to make a must stop if you go to Salem.
Such a fun vibe in here! We loved all the fun options of goodies there was to purchase. Everything from keychains to shirts to fun little coloring books. The coffee shop in the back was super cute and had a fun selection of festive drinks. We personally thought the drinks were a little sweet, but overall had a great time here.
The biggest store in all Salem that is worth take a look at. I appreciate when businesses really make an effort for their interior design and don't take for granted the fact that location will be enough to attract and sale. Especially in this town. BlackCraft has a wide range of accessories, apparel, mementos, gifts, books, coffee, candles, etc etc. A Salem must!
The Brand: obsessed with everything this brand stands for. The retail space: relatively small, well organized, amazing merchandise Cafe: beautifully themed, witchy vibes, reservation only through October. Do your research -- don't just show up and complain because you can't get a last minute reservation The haunt: I wish would have realized there was an option to explore the haunt scenes during the week without scare actors! My husband is not a fan of haunted houses but we visited during the weekend so the non-actor haunt was not an option. I've seen amazing reviews though! Overall love love love this brand and have been obsessed with them even before they built their new Salem location.
Wow!!! Great clothes and GREAT haunted area for photo shoots!!!! See pics for examples! Love them!
Black Craft Cult is a destination goth, girly spot! We are super into Halloween but they made us interested in the merry season with spooky, stuffed Christmas trees and Frankenstein nutcrackers (or should I say the "monster", Frankenstein was the scientist). I was happy to see a place stocked up in spooky items and every black tight pattern but also kept those spooky pink lovers happy! I adored the giant hanging witch when you walk in too! Photo op central!! We really couldn't be happier and then we found out there was a coffee shop!! The next morning after brunch it was our final stop before hitting the road! Decadent seasonal drinks with the perfect witch vibe. Would love if they added some seating to really read some Poe and drink the black as my soul coffee! Making this a permanent must see every visit!
Really cool hidden spot. Very small, but thankfully it wasn't crowded this time of year. Service was fine but not phenomenal. Value was average. The matcha brew was delicious, not too sweet with a hint of cinnamon. Love the spooky decor. I would go back to try another!
I visited BlackCraft Salem to see the large witch statue, not realizing there was also a coffee shop and unique merchandise inside all within a beautifully revamped bank building, which I thought was really cool! The store vibe reminded me of 'Dolls Kill.' While my husband and I were browsing, one of the employees let us know about a no-show reservation at the coffee shop and asked if we were interested. I'm so glad they did! Our drinks were amazing I ordered the Hexed Apple Brew, and he got the Magic Mocha Latte. Both were 10/10! I only wish I lived closer so I could try more.
This is really a fun store even though I'm not into Gothic wear, they had everything - from little people's clothing to adult stuff and more. This store used to be a bank so they have 'vaults' of items as well. I especially love the witch on the broomstick hanging from the ceiling in the middle of the place! You should just go in and take a peak - even if this isn't your vibe. It is a cool place to visit! And if you want to check out their haunted house in the back, you can get tickets to that as well!
This store is amazing. Incredible decor, awesome merchandise and the employees are super sweet & helpful. They have merch for everyone including pets and kids. Loved the amount of mothman stuff they had too - it's sometimes hard to find. My partner got a coffee and it was excellent. They put our purchases in a reusable tote which was very much appreciated. Will definitely be back if ever in Salem again!
I saw this store when I first arrived in Salem and was a little nervous by the store name (so I didn't initially check it out), however, before I was leaving Salem for the day, I saw that there was a BlackCraft Coffee sign and tried to find the door. When I couldn't find it, I walked past and saw a grand entrance and decided to pop in. I was immediately breathless with how beautiful the inside is! On the ceiling is a hugeee witch on a broom. The store used to be a bank, so the interior is painted black to match the theme, but still very grand. They also have the bank vaults where they have items on display. Towards the back of the store, they have the coffee shop which you place your name for a reservation so that you and your group are the only people in the coffee shop (which is nice). They also do haunted houses next door (which wasn't open when I went, but I was fine with that since that's not my thing anyway). The coffee shop had such cute decor and their coffee machine is in the shape of a cauldron! The names of the coffee were so cute and the coffee was delicious! The barista making our coffee was also super nice.
I didn't realize that the coffee shop that I wanted to hit up was in the back of Blackcraft Cult. Makes sense now that I put two and two together with their names. Walking in, you are bombarded by everything black, dark and magical. The first thing that catches your eyes is the huge illuminated witch in the center of the shop. Everything and anything dark and spooky you can think of you will most definitely find here. There's a lot of dark pieces here. I'm into positive spells, magic and the history of it all but some of the stuff they had here is are things I'm not into it. But it's cool that I got to check out it. I adore that this store is on an old bank. The venue is stunning. The building is very ornate. I can only imagine the kind of history that this building holds. I find these old historical buildings so fascinating. It's cool that I got to check things out while I made my way through part of the shop. This joint is the definition of spooky, witchy and Halloween. I wouldn't have known about it if it wasn't for the Blackcraft Coffee. If you're looking to add darkness into your life or home, this is your go to spot for it! read more

To say that I was blown away when we walked into BlackCraft Cult would be an understatement. I remember opening the door and hearing my husband say "whoa." You walk inside and your eyes immediately go up to the enormously gorgeous witch statue that is hanging from the ceiling. I had seen photos and videos, but it is more beautiful in person. It is a tribute to one of the owners and her battle with cancer. The inside is decorated spooky with tons of orange and black everywhere - I wanted to stay here forever. They even had a life size statue of Edgar Allen Poe. They offer a ton of merchandise from apparel to mugs to even stickers and magnets. Everything is pricy as you would expect, but you can only get their items in store so I think it is worth it if you're looking for something unique. BlackCraft Cult also does a haunted house on the weekends during the Halloween season with live scare actors - you can tour it during the week too, but they do not have the actors then. Staff were friendly and helpful! I hope to come back some day to visit again! Check them out! read more
First, there are two listings on Yelp that are related and have nearly identical names and the identical address. This review is for the goth Blackcraft retail place. Upon entering from the charming street, the eye is drawn upward through a massive space that is BlackCraft Salem. There is a great wow factor here! Most surfaces in the room are black, however the ceiling features a large glass area with a suspended life size witch sculpture. There is a pathway straight through the center of the room with children's clothing to the right and more adult sizes in the middle and rear. To the left are seasonal items and the checkout counter. On the left side from the entry, there is a great photo opportunity including a throne surrounded by candles. There is also a life sized Edgar Allen Poe statue on the right side of the room which also makes a fun photo opportunity. There is a good selection of items and sizes. There is an area upstairs that was available for small private events. It looks pretty cool. The coffee counter is in the far right rear corner and requires reservations during the spooky holiday season. (See review for my take about that item) This is a location not to miss overall. I highly recommend the hoodies and purses. This is where the BlackCraft Haunt Ttickets are available, and highly recommend it for adults! read more

Best find in Salem, lattes are delish and the raspberry lemonade was the best ever! Went back twice for more! read more
The shop was an old bank and still has the original interior which was super cool. The coffee shop in the back requires reservations and it's worth it! The QR code to make a reservation is on the shop door. Original spooky flavors and very witchy. Staff were all great and kept the line moving. A Salem must! read more

Though my style is FAR from gothic, this store was VERY cool to visit. I believe the building use to be a bank so a lot of the "bank" interior still remains. I.e: the vaults. The showstopper, however, was the gigantic witch sculpture that hangs right above the store. Lots of campy items to buy. A little too dark sided for my christian faith but the store experience was still super cool and magical. I'd imagine a store like this in a fantasy film. Worth checking out! Also, all the employees we interacted with were friendly and happy to tell us more about the witch sculpture. read more

The coffee is always delicious. They are very accommodating to any dietary needs. I appreciate the specials, and I appreciate how they let you customize anything you can think of. I think it is well worth the price. Plus, if you're in Salem, you have to do all the witch themed activities you can find! read more

This place is amazing. I love ordering from their website, so seeing it in person was awesome. The interior is awesome; it's an old bank complete with vaults, marble floors, and teller counters, but everything is painted black and converted in spooky decor. They've got a lot of their standard merchandise, as well as some Salem specific merch, which of course I had to grab. Not sure if it's a permanent thing, but they also gave me reusable shopping bags with my purchases ( I went back for a hoodie I had to have). Dark store, sick decor, satanic merch, and loud metal music? Yes please. read more

Even better in person! I have been shopping with black craft for a couple years now before they even opened the store! My first experience walking in was breathtaking, I never thought I would see my favorite clothing in a store! They have outfits from animals to babies. They also have cool stuff that isn't clothing such as blankets, bags, jewelry, notebooks, etc read more

I've shopped here in the past online but finally got to go into the store in Salem Ma. Very dark setting very suiting for the vibe located in an old bank complete with vaults. Typical higher than normal tourist area pricing though the items were cool we felt it was a tad over pricey. Nice experience but didn't buy this time. read more
