My family and I visited around Halloween. I have never dealt with such rude people that own this store. We were told to have our money or cards out or we would have to go to the back of the line. I said it doesn't work that way. She walked away and sat by the door still mumbling. She proceeded to call my daughter a bitch to customers waiting in line to enter the store. As we left, she got in my daughter's face pointing her finger and calling her names. She then wanted to throw hands with my daughter. WHAT GROWN ASS ADULT DOES THAT!!! NEVER AGAIN WILL I SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS!!! Their clothes are cheaply made and prices are ridiculous. Reading some of these reviews I don't understand how are they still in business. read more

I was told this was the best place to get souvenir shirts and I'd generally agree with that. The prices seemed about on par with anywhere else and some of the witchy designs I really enjoyed and hadn't (yet) seen anywhere else really. They also have those witches hats you see everywhere (cause they are dope). Service was friendly and a gentleman towards the back was working like crazy to straighten up shirts and seemed to take real pride in the stores presentation. Im going back for a hoodie and just a general pricing idea, the hoodie is $50. read more

Was here 5 years ago,the lady owner was the sweetest and went out of her way and looked 15 minutes a sweatshirt. Had a pleasant conversation. Came back now and she has not changed one bit. She is a wonderful and loving lady! Thank you again I can't wait to see you our next trip up! She has the best selection of t-shirts and sweatshirts. Hello. I was visiting from out of town and I purchased a sweatshirt at the store. I got home to new jersey and was very excited to wear it but unfortunately it was terribly made. The decal and lettering is two inches off center which was not immediately noticeable at the store at the time of purchase without putting it on. It's horribly embarrassing and I'm extremely upset. I can't wear this out and now I have no Salem memorabilia from my trip. read more

I just phoned the store to inquire about a hoodie for my grand-daughter. "Maria" informed me that they do not ship. I said that that was too bad because that is big business. With that, Maria hung up on me. I called back and was hung up on again. When I called back, I asked to speak to the owner "Joan" and was told that they did not know when she would be in and no one was available for me to speak to. NOTHING that I said or did warranted that type of service. Seems to me that because business is good, they do not value those who are not standing in front of them with cash in hand. I went here last year and then again this weekend. This is a great business to get inexpensive tourist apparel to commemorate your trip to Salem. I had to give four stars, however, because the store wasn't as great as it was last year. The space seemed smaller and the selection wasn't as plentiful as when I last went. read more

Many things wrong with this store. If you really want a tee- shirt find it online cheaper or customize it online for cheaper and better. I researched this after my purchase. I spent $30 on a short sleeve t-shirt and the lady was so rude to me. She stuffed my shirt into a small paperbag without a handle and I had to grip the top all day long. When I asked for one of the yellow signature palstic bags she made some excuse about having to buy something more expensive to get the bag. I watched several customers buy those $5-10 sweatshirts they lure you into the store with get a complimentary bag with a handle. When I pointed out to her she said I would have to pay $1. When I asked her why everyone else didn't have to pay she changed her reasoning and responded it depends what you buy. At this point I knew she was just not treating me fairly and I wouldn't get a simple bag that every other customer got with any purchase. Don't be fooled by their marketing tactics- get what you want online for cheaper and better quality. And don't risk stepping into a store that just wants your money. read more

The woman working the cash register tonight, who based on interactions with the other staff I assume is the manager, was SO RUDE and it was unfounded. I slipped a sweatshirt over my head (no signs saying I couldn't and the other woman working was encouraging my brother to do so) to see if it fit because the sizes are unisex and I didn't know if I should size down. The woman yelled at me from the other side of the store "do you have makeup on?" to which I simply replied "oh, I am buying it" because I truly feel whether or not i was wearing makeup is a moot point if I am buying the hoodie to wear once I step out of the store. Instead of moving on with her life the woman said to another customer "well theres another hoodie down the hole" and rolls her eyes at me. I was with my whole family and my kid who really wanted one of their tshirts so I didn't leave, even though I should have walked out without buying anything because the way she was speaking to me was completely uncalled for. When I went up to the register she left me there for a few minutes before acknowledging my presence. When I brought up the remark she made, she didn't even have the decency to apologize. I am a grown woman with a husband, a job, and a grad school education. There is no need to yell at me and be disrespectful based on assumptions. Salem is one of my favorite weekend getaway locations and i have spent a lot of money in that store but I will Never spend a dime there ever again. Never. read more

They have a wide selection of trinkets, shirts, sweats, and hoodies to choose from. They can be a bit expensive, but overall it was great. The gentleman at the front counter was un-intrusive and was there to help as needed. I only wish that they had a bit better selection in colors. read more

My wife said this was a must for us, I am thankful she did. We spent over $100 in this quaint store. Granted it was pretty easy to do considering everything we bought...three shirts and two hoodies. They have a variety of things to choose from. Some are sassy and some are classy. I personally bought a Harvard hoodie. Anything Salem, Boston, or Harvard they have. Lots of sizes to choose from. However, they will charge you extra for XL and up. They even offer little kid and baby clothes. In October their hours are extended so be sure to call to double check. You can find the associates easily as they all wear bright neon yellow shirts with Staff on the back. None of them were overly friendly but they weren't rude either. They just kind of did what they had to do and were ready to go home. If you want some great priced garb this place is a must. Enjoy! read more

I go to Salem a lot. This is the place where I spend most of my money. They have great stuff anything from Salem to Boston shirts, hats, magnets etc. the staff is amazing.
