The second I walked through the door I was greeted and helped by a very friendly associate. After asking what I was looking for, he had me roll up my pant legs, take off my shoes, and walk a few feet. By this, he was skillfully able to determine what type of support I needed for my feet. He grabbed a pair of sneakers for me to try on and walk in on the sidewalk outside. He was able to gauge that these shoes would be a good fit, but even offered to grab a few more for me to try. I was very happy with the feel, style, and brand of this pair, so felt pleased. An additional bonus: there is plenty of parking in parking lot. She listened to my husband, picked out two choices - both were perfect - he bought exactly what he needed. While he was shopping, another saleswoman took time with me - I tried on probably 10 pairs of shoes - "just for fun." It was great - she brought out styles I would never usually try and really enjoyed getting some new ideas. There was no extra pressure, no sales gimmicks - just quality products. Just simple and limited options. I tried on some shoes, I was in and out in 25 minutes. I just needed shoes for work. What I will say was lovely was finding wide sneakers. I was today-years old finding out I was a size 9 wide. I had gotten sneakers as large as 10.5 because that's all that fit my odd-shaped camel feet lol (especially Converse Chuck's). Growing up I didn't think anything of getting shoes with an inch of space for my toes. My mom always bought shoes that I would grow into so they would last longer, and I continued to shop this way as an adult. I am embarrassed to say this was probably the first pair of proper-fitting shoe's I've ever bought. Well, okay, two pairs. The shoes are cute, comfortable, Italian-made, and high-quality. I must have at least 7 or 8 pairs now. The retail outlet is next to their offices, and opened limited hours on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Prices at the outlet are extremely reasonable for such great shoes. Cordani has huge warehouse sales twice a year (June and December),which are super popular. You can usually meet at least one of the owners then, and they are both super friendly. However, if you unfortunately cannot visit Massachusetts, you can buy Cordani at Zappos, Nordstrom, or various shoe boutiques. I'm a Cordani fan for life.
