The prices are on the higher end but they carry quality brands. They have a good selection of fashion jewelry with many of the items being on sale. Brenda gave such AMAZING customer service and personalized service to each person in line. It was pretty insane she was the only cashier during such a chaotic time. I felt so bad that the lines kept growing longer as the minutes grew. Brenda took the time to carefully search each guests account to ensure they were receiving the best possible deals and utilizing their coupons appropriately. The mall has a lot of great stores with tons of selections, especially for shopping online and having the option of pickup in the store. They also have many restaurants where you grab and go to continue your shopping! It was crowded, which is fine because it was a Saturday. I love that it has a Barnes & Noble, which are increasingly hard to come by, and two (2) great clothing stores, Belk's and Dillard's. Even though I don't personally go to some of the shops that they have, like Spencer's or Victoria's Secret, it's a great option for those that do patronize those stores. They also have, in my opinion, the best food court in Columbia, which has almost any food item you can think of. Now, some of the vendors are kind of annoying, but that's just part of the deal when you go to a shopping mall. All-in-all, Columbiana Centre is great and I'm glad that it's still kicking!

Shoes and sneakers are hit or miss, the selection in the home area seems a bit stagnant, the luggage area rarely changes. The service of course is like every where else, understaffed during peak hours. I recently purchased a perfume only to find it 17% cheaper next door at Marshall's so of course I went to return it, seal untampered to be told they would not take it back regardless of seal, cellophane and receipt they stated that the person who checked me out should have told me that "this location" does not accept perfume returns. No matter the proof I had that I did not live in the area, the receipt did not state that and that there was nothing posted with that policy, I had to take the perfume to a different Ross to complete the return. So unless it is something you use on a regular basis, and the price is right, avoid purchasing here because the return policy is very different than at other Ross locations. The staff is not mean or rude, it's just an inconvenience.
