I really liked this Target! It's a little smaller and more compact than most other Targets I've been to, but I mean that in a good way. The store was organized and clean, and the staff, as usual, was very kind and helpful. The only problem is that they were out of one item that I was looking for in the protein powder section, but it's not really their fault, it's a popular item. Would recommend! read more

Stopped by this location an obscene amount of times while vacationing near this location and each time the service was stellar, the clearance clothing section was crazy stocked with an awesome selection and the bang for my buck was a stellar value! An absolute horrible experience. I love Target but this will not be a store location I will patron again. I went here with my youngest two after running some other errands; they were so excited to spend their gift cards from Christmas. When we were checking out, the cashier was a bit frustrated even though I told her we were going to have multiple orders; my two children wanted to pay for their items individually and then my purchase. She rang us up and everything seemed good. I checked my receipt because I thought I had met the criteria for a gift card. When went and stood it he customer service line. I went to the first agent and explained to her what happened; she said let me check. She scanned my three items and it turned out that I grabbed one wrong item. I asked her if I could swap out the correct one. She explained to me that I would have to return all of the items and then repurchase them. I told her "ok." She refunded me the money and it came to $28. And some change. I kept thinking that wasn't right; she tried to scan the items and the repurchase items came to over $44, mind you, the difference in the third item was $4.99. I tried to explain this didn't make sense. She called over another agent, I think it was a manager. She came over, I explained to her what was going on. She told me no problem. She canceled Everything and started over. This time the items did ring up the correct price, she refunded me the $42.(some odd change). When we went to ring up the correct items, I explained to the manager I didn't have cash to pay the difference and asked if I could do a split sale with the cash and the rest on my Target red card. She proceeded to tell me know because I would get a discount and that would void my gift card purchase. I took my items and we came home. After looking over my recipes I was indeed correct that somewhere along the line I was being shorted and not only that but I was treated rudely for not accepting what was being presented. I then had to make a special trip to the bank to put the cash back into my account. My thought: shop at another location. read more

Oh how I love Target! I haven't been to this location in years. The inventory is good. The store is fairly organized. The women's shoes and accessories were a bit of a mess though. I was a little disappointed the sandals aren't out yet since the stores around Charleston and Myrtle Beach are already carrying them. Easter goods like table cloths and place mats are available. This complex is super busy and can get congested quickly. read more

Yesterday I decided to Christmas shop at Target in Columbia SC for my 3 Grandchildren , I was seriously confused as all of the clothing in the children section were on the floor? I left without purchasing a thing! Today I went to Sunset in Lexington and it was well stocked and the store was clean and orderly. Bravo Sunset! If you're looking for big-box prices but want a great shopping experience, Target is the way to go. What sets Target apart from the rest is that they have apparently struck the difficult balance between value and professionalism. This location is neat, clean, well-merchandised, and the staff seem to try their best to deliver the best customer service. What may be surprising are the prices. Needing a new microwave, I checked this store and found exactly what was desired at a great value. I have never been disappointed here...try it! read more

This is a great Target in a great location, right on Harbison. They typically have the things we need in stock, and have an excellent seasonal department in the back. I love the feel of the store ~ and the employees are generally helpful. There is a CVS Pharmacy inside. There is tons of free parking. -1 Star: The $1 - $3 section is so small - it is literally one row of bins. There are other Targets in Columbia with awesome "dollar sections". Overall, highly recommend!! read more

Per the usual, my Target experience was phenomenal! I went in with four times that I needed and I didn't sway from my list. The store was clean, and the employees on the flier were very nice and upbeat! The checkout process was smooth. I usually always self check out and had no issues with the system. Of course I'll. Review for Photo area only. There's never anyone there. It appears the online orders print automatically, but are not organized AT ALL. Another employee mentioned there had not been a dedicated employee in that area for over a year. The store is fine, but don't print photos here. The turn time never aligns with the online order, and the store loses your photos. read more

I rate Target middle of the road because I typically find similar items elsewhere, at a lower price. There are some of their Archer Farms items that I like, but overall, unless I just can't find it somewhere I typically avoid Target. read more

I can walk around here for hours. This is the store closest to my house, even though it's about an 18 minute drive. I tend to have doctor appointments nearby, so I usually drop in, when I'm over that way. Years ago, I worked nearby, so I spent many lunch breaks just killing time there. The store opened in 1999, it replaced the old Bush River location, which is a Walmart now. Over the years, they have kept it up to date. The Starbucks is great, and I've heard the pharmacy is pretty good. One of my biggest issue with all Targets is that they don't keep a lot of inventory. As soon as I find a brand I love, they dump it. They are not ones to keep anything around, especially many of their store brands. Often I wind up going home, and purchasing online. If you have a Target card, you usually get free shipping, plus a discount. Some items require a minimum of a 25 dollar purchase. The staff here is friendly, and helpful, and the store is always clean. Also the restrooms are clean too, which is a nice plus. read more

Your average Target experience. I wasn't impressed but also wasn't disappointed. We found everything we needed and were out pretty quickly to go to the other stores around (Bed Bath & Beyond, TJ Maxx, etc). We didn't experience any traffic, but we also came in the middle of the afternoon. We don't live here and only needed things to help my sister move into her dorms, but it served its purpose! read more

Do not buy dairy products at this store unless you want to get sick. Mold in 10 of the Noosa yoghurts I bought. I usually buy them in Lexington, where I never have a problem. Subpar Target, just like most of the surrounding area is starting to be anyway. We are expecting less, therefore getting less. read more

I love Target, and even though this isn't the best one I've ever been in, its nice. I could care less about how I'm treated there - I don't really go in there expecting anything from someone, but I haven't had a problem there yet (I noticed someone else had a problem there). I like going during the day, during the week, as its not very crowded and hasn't been ransacked! read more
