Checking out this new store in Harbison today Columbia, SC! So far I'm loving all the spring home goodies, candles & more. Little bit more upscale than Dollar General, but not Target...one-stop shopping, self check out. This store has alot to offer their customers, from party, craft, household, cleaning supplies, market, home, etc items all at very reasonable prices. I noticed that the store was very clean and maintained at the highest standard. I was very impressed with their no contact self checkout system, which is the future after the COVID-19 pandemic. I'm positive that we'll be returning to this new store whenever we're in the haribson area. I would highly recommend this store to anyone who is interested in good shopping with reasonable prices.

So much good stuff!! So excited to be visiting South Carolina and this store is amazing!! It's a hybrid of dollar tree and Five Below with items that are reminiscent of Hobby Lobby and Target home decor! What more can you want. To say this place is a hidden gem of home decor finds is an understatement. Since it's during the holiday season this place can be your one stop shop for not only holiday decor but also so many great finds for gifts. Electronic gadgets, art supplies, toys, makeup and so much more. This location is clean and while it is packed with many items clutter free and the employees are helpful with being on top of you. Take my word for it and head on over to grab some steaks for a great deal.

I loved their selection of South Carolina hats, artworks, household items, clothing, etc. Also, as a philatelist, (one who loves mail) this is one of the few places in Columbia to buy postcards (and they're affordable as well!) They also had a lot of cool Carolina and Clemson merchandise, as well as items that highlight the history of the state of South Carolina. All-in-all, it was a great store, and my only complaint is that it's not its own standalone location! Would highly recommend!

It doesn't just handle museum related items and souvenirs. Its inventory is related to everything of the entire State of South Carolina. As they state, they've "...explored every corner of the state to bring you the best of South Carolina," and from what I've seen they have done that and then some. It's a really big store and has most everything one can think of that would be South Carolina related and most of the goods are of superior quality, not just cheap Chinese built trinkets. But the best part is the selection. They have everything from jewelry to clothing to home decorator items and the staff is more than willing to assist. It's really one of the better shops I've seen within or a part of any public museum.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME HERE. This has been the worst experience we've ever had with a…read morefurniture store -- we're even considering legal action. We bought a living room set with a 5-year warranty totaling $1,577. One of our couches was damaged beyond repair. The warranty company approved a full replacement and told us we could get either the same couch or store credit for the original amount ($621). Value City offered just $358. After pushing back, they increased it to $552, still short of what we paid. We then found what looked like the same couch in a different color. When we asked for that one, we were told it was a different model ("Galaxy" instead of "Felix") -- even though it's clearly just a renamed version of the same couch. We believe this rebranding is to keep customers from using their warranties. Then we reviewed our original receipt. We were promised free delivery, but were charged $139.99. Our total was $1,577, but the furniture with tax was only $1,437 -- that $140 difference is the delivery fee they claimed we wouldn't be charged. When we pointed this out, they literally tried to argue basic math with us. At one point, an employee even admitted the math was off and brought it to a manager, who still claimed it was "correct," using nonsense calculations that made no sense. Frustrated, we gave up and picked out a cheaper couch for $499 just to be done with them -- a couch that lacked many of the features we originally paid for, but we were exhausted by the constant back and forth. Next, we were told the couch was ready for pickup. But when we called to confirm, they told us we had 48 hours to pick it up before it would be sold, even though that was never mentioned in person, over the phone, via text, or in email. Since we both work, we asked if they could hold it until the weekend. They couldn't promise that. We ended up ordering a second couch, with a pickup scheduled for July 23. We rearranged our work schedules to pick it up in the 48-hour window. Then, out of nowhere, we get a call on July 17 saying it's ready and needs to be picked up that day. My husband said he couldn't make it due to work but reminded them our pickup was scheduled for the 23rd. He was told again: only a 48-hour hold. He left work early on July 18 to get it, drove 45 minutes, only to be told the couch wasn't even there -- the one that arrived was for another customer. The warehouse staff, who actually seem to know what they're doing, apologized and said they'd ask a manager about waiving the delivery fee for all the trouble. They were the only part of this experience that wasn't a total disaster. In total, we're out $272 between the bogus "free" delivery ($139) and the warranty credit shortfall ($122), not to mention losing work time and still not having the replacement couch we paid for. Their customer service is disorganized, rude, and completely unhelpful. Basic math doesn't apply here, apparently. To their credit, Jeff -- one employee -- was helpful and actually got us the second couch without additional cost, even throwing in a free warranty. But the store acts like they don't want you to talk to him -- we were constantly told he wasn't available. This place is a joke, and based on a quick Google search, we're clearly not the only ones dealing with problems. Check your receipts, question everything, and if possible -- shop somewhere else. Attached photos show our original couch (tan with power), the renamed version ("Galaxy" brown), and the stripped-down model we had to settle for (tan without power).

While we ultimately didn't find what we needed here, I have no doubt that next time we are searching for something that MACK will be on our list of places to stop! This is a wonderful store with an eclectic mix of unique pieces of furniture, home furnishing, artwork, jewelry and other accessories. The thing that drew me in the most were the items that make a house feel like a home... an adorable set of salt and pepper shakers, a fabulous bar set, or an adorable set of cocktail napkins that would surely liven up any party. The store goes on forever (I never realized how big that space is) so you'll have plenty of things to see and choose from. This is a great place to pick up an unexpected gift or a little something for yourself. I'm sure I'll be stopping by again soon!

World Market has a variety of items ranging from furniture, lights, food, drinks, alcohol, sweet treats, and little nick nacts. One feature I like about World Market is the fact that on the food and drinks selection they have the name of the country where the items came from. For example, the countries  that I saw were Germany, Italy, Australia, Japan, Vietnam, Jamaica, England, Spain America, Greece, and South America.  When strolling around the store, I noticed that they do have a selection of items that you can not find in a regular store and the prices are reasonable in my opinion. For example in the German area of World Market, they have a wide spread of Haribo Gummies that I have never seen in the supermarket, like Pico- Balla and Balla Stixx.  In addition, World Market has a huge parking lot shared with Best Buy, but there is plenty of parking spots. Furthermore, the staff was very polient to my family and I, and the facility was very clean and organized. Also their is a restroom located in the back of the store for the public to use.  If you are in the area or want to check out World Market. You should definitely do so, because you will be in a pleasant surprise. Maybe you will fall in love with a treat from another country? I will be definitely coming back to World Market if I am in the market and I hope you do too.
