WOW! Just WOW!!!!!! We have been in Italy for over 10 days and cannot eat any more pasta or pizza! We were desperately craving a hamburger or something different and didn't want to settle for fast food or an "American fast food spot." The burgers and fries were quite good, and well up to what I would expect to find in the US at a fancy burger joint. But here, reasonably priced. We had a couple of Italian beers with it. We really enjoyed the place and would go again if in Rome and wanting burgers! My only gripe is that we had to wait quite a while to place our orders. After a month in Italy we were craving a break from all the Italian food and decided on giving a burger a try (why not? We are American lol). This place blew our minds. Hands down one of the best burgers I've ever eaten in my life. The meat was seasoned so well and cooked perfectly. All the ingredients, tomato, salad and bun were all fresh! I think I just had the best burger ever, and it was in Rome. We decided to go here when I just didn't feel like eating pasta or pizza again. I wish we had gone earlier, so I could go again before we left Rome. I can't believe this place doesn't have a line out the door constantly. The burgers were SO good. The fries and roasted potatoes were good also. Everything is homemade. Every bite of my guacamole burger melted in my mouth. Well, I tried to eat here. Yelp said open until 2300. The door stated closed between 1600 and 1930. When I opened the door, I was greeted by the staff taking a break with "closed, open at 1930". Not only do they have the most amazing quality burger with excellent flavor and temperature, but everyone from the bread to the slice of tomatoes has amazing attention to detail. After a few days in Rome the family wanted a change from pasta and pizza. I looked this place up on yelp and it was just a few minutes from the hotel. When we finally found the place we went in and saw that there was very little seating, so if you want to sit down and eat in, seating may not be available. BUT, getting to the food. You order from a limited menu including a few varieties of burgers off the main menu and usually a burger of the day. The patty is hand made and so are the buns. You can order it any way you want. The vegetables are fresh, and it was likely the best burger I have had anywhere in the world in quite a while. The fries are also very good and they have a selection of good wines and good beers, as well as soda for the kids. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for something different than the local fare. read more
