My husband and I come here mainly for the for the food. Their T pop calamari and T pop chicken are bomb! Boba, not so much. Just like what everybody is saying, it's a little watered down, however it was still decent and probably still the best boba place in Modesto. Never really been to downtown Modesto before so decided to give this place a try. Really chill environment and the employees were super friendly and helpful. I got the Vietnamese cold cut sandwich combo with an almond milk tea. The sandwich and fries came out fresh and it was a pretty big portion (big enough for me to have almost 2 full meals). Fries were crisp, well seasoned and definitely fresh right out of the fryer. The sandwich was pretty good though the bread was kind of average for a banh mi. The almond milk tea was probably the weakest part of the deal. The milk tea tasted super watery and the boba had a jasmine tea taste to them which is too flowery for my liking. I prefer one cup cafes milk tea. Overall a pretty good experience I might give them another visit for their food. read more

I came in around 12:45pm on a Friday. They seemed busy. The girl that took my order was very nice and always made sure she knew I was still waiting for my food because she would apologize every chance she got. I ordered two drinks, a waffle, a Vietnamese cold cut with fries, and tcup chicken(popcorn chicken). It took about 20 mins to get all the parts of my order. My drinks were fine, but the milk tea had more of a sugary taste than that fresh milk tea taste. My chicken tasted more like American fried chicken than Taiwanese popcorn chicken. The Vietnamese sandwich tasted fresh, it felt a little bland to me(maybe they forgot to put pate and mayo on it). The Waffle was decent, but was not cooked all the way and I wish it was crisper. All and all, the food is fine and the drinks are okay. All the workers are definitely working hard to get your order out as soon as possible. They have games there for you play with and several tables to use. read more

We visited this joint and I was pleasantly surprised! We were greeted promptly - the girl working the counter gave us suggestions. I ordered the bbq pork bahn mi and a boba milk tea. The sandwich was tasty and came with fries. The milk tea was creamy and tasty. This place is not SoCal/Bay Area Good, but it is much better than the other places here in town. Nice to have a local spot for milk teas and boba drinks. I usually get just taro milk teas or Thai teas and I have to admit the flavor on those drinks are a little on the weak side not as flavorful as others. I love the food here! They do their best to keep it all freshly made, which usually ends up taking a while to cook. If you don't have a lot of time, call in and let them know when you'll be there. Your food will be fresh and waiting! Not to mention their drinks: I highly recommend their milk teas (with non-dairy creamer)! They will mix flavors if you'd like, or you can go without flavor completely and just enjoy the tea. The people there are always so friendly and super polite. I ordered at this place quite a few times,but only been ordering their combo meal which is with tofu and fries, also comes with cold tea. I always enjoy eating it. Friendly employees and nice small place. I got a mango bubble milk tea with pearls (I learned how they called it). About $5 for one large size. I got it and I saw it was iced. That was strange to me since I normally get them blended. It guess it's a different kind of making them? Flavor wise was okay. It wasn't the best I've tasted. Couple times went there when it opened. I really like the idea and staff very friendly. But what bugged me was a boba place smelled like fried fish it was really overwhelming. I think they should just stick with sweets and leave fried fish for another restaurant. Milk and oils blah! I also wanted more of a blended drink like blending the ice for the boba drinks and they don't do that, it was disappointing. Second I had chunks of some sort of powder at the bottom of my drink didn't sit well with me. Boba drinks and flavors plus the crepes not bad. The food and drinks here are great. However the service is extremely slow, so slow that it makes me not want to come here often. For example I came here today with one of my friends and we ordered two milk teas, it wasn't busy either there was only one person ahead of us in line. Our family has been frequenting this place all summer for Boba. It has great tea flavors that u can add Boba both large or small, jellies and pudding. The pudding I haven't tried, but the milk tea is wonderful. My husband loves the icies. Friday nights are fun because you can come down in the evening grab your favorite milk tea and a snack and in the court they have live music to enjoy while sipping tea. Come to T-Cups. Come to find out none of them are good. the crepes taste like flour tortillas and the boba tea tastes like they put a tea bag in a glass of milk. I had never had boba tea until visiting T-Cups. It is a refreshing and delicious with many new flavors. I enjoyed the experience immensely as I love visiting new places in Modesto. Especially new places to eat. I got the chicken strips and the jasmine boba tea when I went and I cannot recommend them more. The chicken strips are like nothing you've ever had and the jasmine tea was delightful. The coconut tea is extremely refreshing and the Thai tea is bitter and flavorful!
