Matt the manager is very rude and not helpful either. We brought my bf's Cadillac here because we previously took it to the location on 41st and Yale for not holding any coolant. They fixed the problem at that location and the experience was great. However, this location is HORRIBLE! We called previously to make sure it was okay to bring it back up to a Firestone (same issue again months later), they said of course. We paid to have it towed there, they refused to work on it because they said and I quote "do not have an experienced technician"!!!! You're supposed to be able to work on cars... why can one place do it but the other can't? I understand though, but they still charged us for nothing!!! They wouldn't accept payment over the phone or charge the FIRESTONE CREDIT CARD on file. My boyfriend had to walk an hour up there to pay for it. THATS when he saw they damaged his Cadillac. They wouldn't even own up to it!!! Now we have to file another insurance claim and pay for it to be towed to an ACTUALL MECHANIC!!!

(Sarcasm, the car runs and drives great) Little to my knowledge the prospective buyer is buddies with an employee at the shop and possibly coordinated this GREAT SCAM. It goes like this: Bring sellers car in, I'll rack up a bunch of supposed needed repairs so then the buyer can hustle the selling price down. WOW, I GOT DUPED!!! They wanted me to pay upfront, everyone else paid at the end of their service. So I agreed to pay but the manager Maria C. Refused my oil change because I purchased a Groupon. Yep, she is acting manager and even called the new owner and he also agreed not to allow the oil change. Reason, they couldn't guarantee that I wouldn't leave a bad review because they didn't have an employee that could not do the oil change.Oh, and they would lose money because of the Groupon, which is only good for that location only. The new owner doesn't care about the customers and the manager is rude. Not good for business. I know they lost mine. So sorry to see it being ran into the ground. So sad.

This place is AMAZING! A trip that I know for a fact would have cost me over $250 at my dealership…read moreonly cost me $65 here. Let me walk you through my experience at Tate Boys with my 2012 Toyota Camry XLE. First off, I'm I 21 year old female college student who knows next to nothing about cars. Some time ago, I ran over one of those cement bumper guard things they have in parking lots. The undercarriage of my car ripped, and the only reason I know that is because it made a horrible grinding sound every time I would go over a speed bump or a pothole or dip or anything. And we live in Tulsa, they're a dime a dozen. Next, my tire gage is automatic, so it tells me when my tires are low and which ones they are. Well, the same ones kept getting low, but they didn't look low, and I would keep filling them up. Even my Dad said they looked fine. So I put that on the list of things to have them look at as well, because I didn't know if it was my gage or my tires, because it was two of them on opposite ends, front right and back left. Finally, my maintenance light blinks on. I can't procrastinate any longer. I have to get this car fixed. The constant grinding, the (!) of low tire pressure, and now this? Forget it, I'll suck up my pride and ask my parents to fix my stupid car. I'll find a way to pay them back. I knew I had to get the oil changed anyway, I'd budgeted for that. But the dealership said that to fix my undercarriage would cost $174.59. And I did not have that kind of money. So I went in to Tate Boys, explained what was going on with the car and that I needed the oil changed, and went to sit down and eat my lunch. I got there around 12:50pm on a Thursday afternoon. They not only changed my oil, they fixed my undercarriage, FREE OF CHARGE MIGHT I ADD, so that it no longer makes that awful noise (and that my dealership was going to charge me $175 for), they also told me I had 2 nails in in two DIFFERENT TIRES, and they repaired them for me, also free of charge, and sent me on my merry little way. Y'all. 21 year old female who had no idea what she was doing. They obviously could have taken advantage of me, but instead, they showed great integrity and they changed my oil, fixed my car, and basically said "We got you, it's on us today." I don't know about you, but THIS is the kind of place that I want to go to when I'm in trouble with my car
