Solid spot to check out while you are in Fall River! The service was slow, but I think it's just where we ended up in the restaurant since we were in the corner a bit. Most of the group got the bitoque, and they found the meat to be a little tough. I did love the seasoning on it though and the roasted red pepper was a *chef's kiss* addition. They have a lunch menu during the week, but not during the weekend. Overall I'd certainly head in again!

So many Portuguese restaurants in Fall River... it's hard to know where to go! Well, T A Restaurant is a pretty solid option. Compared to some of the other spots I've been to in town, the ambiance was on the nicer/more modern side. They've got plenty of choices in terms of Meat & Poultry and Seafood. Our waitress was really nice and helped me decide on a dairy-free dish. My friend and I both opted for seafood. I got the Bacalhua a Casa (shredded codfish) and my friend got the Bacalhua Assado (salted cod). To be honest, I found my fish to be a bit overcooked, but I'm not sure if that's just because the fish was shredded. I tried a bite of the salted cod and the cook on that was perfect. The plating is also really nice, so I'd recommend for anyone looking for a bit of a more upscale dining experience.

A group of nine and we had different entrée. Each dish came out hot, delicious and tasty. Everyone lived their food. Our waiter Brandon was awesome. Great personality and great service. Baked stuffed shrimp, Shrimp TA Style, Portuguese steak, two other shrimp dishes. All delicious and fresh. Thanks Brandon for great service and laughs.

Went there to celebrate our engagement and could not have been more happy with the food and service! The service was impressive , they were always on the spot when we needed something but didn't bother us . The were very busy and crowded so it was a little noisy but that didn't ruin our meal. The fresh cheese was incredible, I would go back there just for that. The flaming chourico tasted amazing, you can tell It's homemade. The rice and seafood was cooked perfectly and the flavor was amazing. The amount of seafood in my dish was plentiful. My fiancé had the Portuguese steak it was also cooked perfectly and extremely tender even though she likes hers well done

I LOVED IT! Way nicer than I expected inside but it was sectioned off between bar and restaurant side. We were a little underdressed but it was fine. The Chouriço comes out literally on fire which was fun. Restrooms were downstairs in a separate event space area. My only complaint was that the molho with the bife was SUPER salty. Maybe it was a mistake but otherwise it was all great.

Excellent Portuguese cuisine served with pride. Not my first time here, as a matter, fact that one of my favourite restaurants in Fall River (which there are many, so that says a lot) I took a family member who was here from out of town during this holiday week. She's not Portuguese has been mixed into our culture for the last 23 years, only visit from New Mexico every couple of years. She commented on how nice the restaurant was, and how she felt the professional waitstaff took a lot of pride in their work and in the restaurant. I totally agree with her, and I always feel like that when I dine here. My aunt has soy and seasoning allergies, so she asked for her T-bone steak (t-bone was a special)to be grilled plain with just salt. The waiter wanted to be sure her allergies were addressed, and if there were any other things he should know about her food allergies, very attentive, and her T-bone steak came out to perfection, just the way the chef grilled it. I had the octopus special, which was absolutely to die for! Octopus was great, and the caramelised onions were cooked to perfection. I had a glass of Portuguese, white wine with my octopus, so good. The Portuguese rolls that they serve are the best! They're not served warm or anything, they're just my favorite roll with the crunchy outside and soft inside. Ambience feels authentic, old New England city vibe with corner window store front and checkered floor tile in the bar area, wood finishes and lanterns, it's charming.

I was here this past weekend for a wedding. As a Portugee, I was psyched to have some quality Portuguese food. All the servers here are fantastic! The meal started with Portuguese kale soup, my absolute favorite! For the main course, there was roasted chicken, clams, pork and potatoes. Everything was delicious! I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu.

I'm going to Keep this one short and simple. We walked in for lunch on Sunday around 12:3pm , there was only 1 other table occupied, in the process of choosing and ordering , it became quiet busy. So you figure we would get our food before people who actually walked in after us?? Nope!! Food was good, but very long WAIT !!

Good food, moderately priced and a quiet dining room. The wine list was average. Service was prompt and courteous

Absolutely beautiful dining atmosphere…read more We called last minute for reservations and they were fully booked but managed to get our party of 4 on the south patio which is covered. The views were beautiful. We started with cocktails at one of the high top tables- to note there isn't service to these tables we had to bring the drinks from the bar. The parking lot was packed. Testament to a restaurant to be this busy on a Monday night. The food was excellent- well prepared and flavorful. We shared a desert. Everything was well prepared and the flavors were spot on. Our server was maybe overloaded as it was pretty packed. The drinks were ok. I feel like they are more of an overpriced novelty. I recommend wine instead. The food was also overpriced as well. I wish I took a picture of my salad. I got the wedge salad which was just two small pieces of lettuce which was also a quarter inedible. They charged me 30 dollars for a tiny "salad" that didn't even have all the ingredients/garnishes it was said to come with and the smallest slice of salmon I've ever seen. I was actually laughing at this. It took me all of 5 min to eat my "meal". The calamari was also soggy and imo not cooked well. The shrimp and corn fritters were sooooo good! I recommend them!

She is personable, polite, knows her job and was not over-the-top phony. The food was excellent, outdoor seating on a breezy Tuesday was amazing, and the view can't be beat. We were seated right away, unfortunately in the middle of the dining room, and as a hearing impaired person, this is difficult for me. We asked to be moved so I could put my deaf side on the wall, but unfortunately they could not accommodate us. So, my husband had to sit on my deaf side, and invariably, that is the side the server comes to speak to me. It makes my whole dining experience a little frustrating! We ordered quickly, one appetizer to share and then entrees for all 4 of us. There was no bread and butter, and no side salad included. I found this very surprising for the price point of these meals. The appetizer came out very quickly and was delicious (clam cakes). The entrees came out and frankly were unimpressive. I got the bourbon glazed salmon and it was good, but nothing I would need to go back and have again. The mashed potatoes were excellent, carrots okay and the green beans were terrible. Half al dente, half that looked grey and limp. The other 3 in our party ordered the chicken picatta and all had the same issue of unevenly pounded, rubbery chicken. They said the flavour was good and the pasta cooked nicely.

It definitely has the little clam shack vibes that makes the experience feel even more authentic. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. I ordered a clam chowder cup and a hot lobster roll. I don't know if it was because I was there in the winter, but the lobster roll was generally affordable, running you only a bit over $27 which is almost unheard of these days. And they didn't skimp out on the meat too ! The lobster roll was filled to the brim and so delicious. The clam chowder was also incredible. I also love that they have a little market in case you want to make any of their seafood at home ! Will definitely become a staple when I come back to visit my parents.

I went on a rainy Monday around noon and there was still a steady flow of customers. It seems to be a pretty popular spot. The staff is all very friendly. The soups were served to us immediately after paying. The New England Clam Chowder was good. Nice amount of clams and very creamy. I had never had Rhode Island Clam Chowder before and this seemed like the place to try it. The clear broth was surprisingly flavorful but I still prefer New England. My girlfriend and I ordered a good amount and the food came out pretty quickly. My favorite was the kung pao calamari. The squid was fried perfectly and having the sauce on the side was nice as it didn't leave the breading to get all soggy and I had control over how sweet it would be. The stuffed Quahogs tasted good but I feel like I tasted more of the stuffing over the actual shellfish. It still tasted good, but I feel like I should've gotten more shellfish. We were told they ran out of shells to serve them on so the presentation was off, but they were still tasty. The lobster rolls were both good. They were $27 which seems pretty steep to me but they were actually on the cheaper side compared to other places we saw around Newport. The lobster tasted fresh and the bread was good. They were solid lobster rolls. The food was all solid, but for the price I wasn't wowed.

Unfortunately, I was met with an absolutely atrocious attitude from the young lady who served me today. I asked for two whole filets of Arctic Char from the back cooler instead of the two in the front case. Why? Well, the real answer is that it doesn't matter why...I'm the customer paying nearly $60 for fish and if that's what I want, then the correct answer is a smile and a "no problem, let me go get that for you!" Instead, what I got was a look of utter contempt and an "I mean, what's the difference?" sarcastic reply with one palm raised up to emphasize just how ridiculous my request was. When she returned with the fish, I said "just FYI, all that should matter is that I'm the customer (paying top dollar for a premium product), maybe I'm just a bit OCD." Her response, again with that famous Gen-Z contempt, was "I mean, there's no difference, we just brought it (the fish in the case) out, but anyways, I got you your fish." She just didn't get it. The owner overheard everything and chimed in "all of our fish is fresh here, you don't need to worry about that." Yeah, I know that it's a good product, it's why I shop here, but if my unique brain feels better about having it brought out from the back cooler, why should that merit even a drop of bad attitude?! I told the owner, "I just shouldn't have to explain myself," he retorted "you didn't" and I told him "no, actually I did." So basically, I went in looking forward to a nice experience and left feeling really irritated. Sometimes when I'm passing through Westport, I stop by Westport Lobster Company. I always ask for my fish from the back...and all that I ever get is a smile and a "sure, no problem, let me get that for you." I prefer to spend money in my own town, but I'm not going back to this place and neither is my wife...We don't need to be rewarding rudeness with our hard-earned dollars.
