He apologized and confirmed that my complaints were "dead on". He told me about all the changes that he'd already implemented, in large part, because of my review. Employees now have name tags and uniforms. Private information is only discussed behind closed doors and they're retraining staff. How about that? It's not every day that an owner makes such a effort to improve after a complaint. He wanted to let me know that my concerns had not fallen on deaf ears. Now THAT is customer service. So, I wrote another review and gave them 5 stars because I value honesty and integrity when correcting mistakes. Thank you, Dr. Mehta and Torri for reaching out and making a concerted effort to address the issue. I may try them again in the near future.

Currently, my main concern is that Quest Diagnostics has a presence at the clinic for clinic patients. While this is convenient, I am wondering what is the criteria for sending patients to the lab. Since insurance is paying for the lab work, shouldn't it be for medical reasons? Does the Staff a quota? Are there any other quotas we need to know about? I do not want to be involved in any illicit activity.

During bloodwork results, I wasn't notified of the results but notes were added advising next steps. If health is a priority and something requires urgent action a phone call should be made

I was a patient here for many years. I finally had to switch to a new dr. after my last experience…read morewith them. I made an appt. right on time to get my birth control renewed, and was missing work for it-- 30 mins before the actual appt, they called and told me they had to reschedule me. Although unprofessional, and disrespectful of my time, I understand things come up. I told them that is fine, but I still need my birth control renewed on time so that I do not risk becoming pregnant. They said they would fax it over to my pharmacy immediately. Of course, they didn't. I have called every couple hours for the last 2 days for them JUST TO FAX MY APPROVED PRESCRIPTION. Every time they say they are about to send it and never do. Terrible staff. They are risking their own patients health and lifestyle because they are "busy"--- EVERYONE is busy- it is their job to be concerned with the reproductive health of their patients. I am livid and although I have been a patient for years, I will not ever return and will never recommend them to anyone.

We would use them as a primary care if we could get by with it :)

So I did another mini check-up in April 2025. I specifically told the ladies at the front desk/reception that I had no insurance and I prepaid the $80. Then I receive a bill in June 2025 that I still owe $117. I called, spoke to billing, and was told I am still responsible for the bill because I did not specifically request a "waiver." WTF?!#@*??!! I pleaded with billing to grant me the waiver as NO ONE told me, or was it posted anywhere in their offices, that I specifically had to request a waiver because they would not offer it to me, But the lady said "sorry, you should have known and it's already in the system." I immediately understood what Luigi Mangione felt.

I made an MRI appointment over the phone and nearly dropped my coffee when they said they could do…read moreit on a weekend. I seized the earliest slot, (not a morning person, but figured let's get it out of the way) 6:45 AM. A decision my half-asleep self would later thank me for. The moment I arrived, I was whisked inside, greeted by Estefania. She checked me in with a friendly, demure manner, that I almost forgot why I was there in the first place. Not only did she make the process a breeze, but she also casually dropped some chiropractor and payment tips like she was handing out life hacks. Then, I was escorted to change and sent off to the waiting room like a VIP being led to a secret club. Enter Terrance, the imaging tech, who was just as friendly and considerate, making sure I was comfortable on that machine bed. Thirty minutes of lying still, drifting off to the sweet symphony of MRI machine hums, and voilà, we were done--no re-imaging required. Terrance checked in on me afterward, answering my questions and giving me the lowdown on when the scans would reach my doctor. First MRI, conquered. Thanks to the A-team for guiding me through it like pros.

Bill is ~ $1300 for Dr and $2,500 because THEY put us in the ER... nice way to pad the bill. No indication of the cost and there just over an hour. Billing dept tried to settle for $2,100 which is still crazy high. I've reported them to the TX Attorney General and now suing them for medical gouging.

I found Angel Care Family Clinic on Google and saw all the great reviews they had. I decided to give them a try, I was a walk-in patient but they were still able to treat me fairly quickly. I was able to get diagnosed and get prescribed antibiotics in a reasonable amount of time. I initially had my prescription sent to CVS, but it turns out they weren't in my insurance's network, so I called the clinic back and they happily forwarded my prescription to Walmart, so I was able to pick it up. I remember prior to leaving the clinic I got really light headed and they gave me some ammonia to sniff it really helped! They even let me take a few for the road. I paid a $40 co-payment. I highly, highly recommend this place. Their kindness and dedication to their patients is something that is greatly admirable!

After two days I was released with diagnoise of pulled muscle. Wheelchaired me to the parkig lot where I had another seizure. Girl in charge of the wheelchair went back inside. Next day I went lathargic for three days. Cousin looked in on me and said we're going to VA DeBakey hospital. There they diagoised me as having a stroke Factor Five, and seizures. Way to go Kingwood. Folks that's where you send your loved ones to die.

Trying to make an appointment was a nightmare. First, I got shuffled off to some call center, then sent back to the McKay location, where I waited on hold forever before someone finally picked up. And when they did, there was no friendly greeting, just a brisk "Village Medical? Birthdate? Name?" It felt really cold and unprofessional. When I mentioned my hernia issue, they just told me they're booked till mid-April. That's it for me. I'm on the hunt for a new family doctor. My wife already left them because they kept nagging her about her weight. I'm definitely out of there too, as soon as possible.
