He apologized and confirmed that my complaints were "dead on". He told me about all the changes that he'd already implemented, in large part, because of my review. Employees now have name tags and uniforms. Private information is only discussed behind closed doors and they're retraining staff. How about that? It's not every day that an owner makes such a effort to improve after a complaint. He wanted to let me know that my concerns had not fallen on deaf ears. Now THAT is customer service. So, I wrote another review and gave them 5 stars because I value honesty and integrity when correcting mistakes. Thank you, Dr. Mehta and Torri for reaching out and making a concerted effort to address the issue. I may try them again in the near future.

We would use them as a primary care if we could get by with it :)

I informed him that my insurance was expiring and I probably would not be able to see him. He told me that they have a special $80/per visit for people who are uninsured. So I did another mini check-up in April 2025. I specifically told the ladies at the front desk/reception that I had no insurance and I prepaid the $80. Then I receive a bill in June 2025 that I still owe $117. I called, spoke to billing, and was told I am still responsible for the bill because I did not specifically request a "waiver." WTF?!#@*??!! I pleaded with billing to grant me the waiver as NO ONE told me, or was it posted anywhere in their offices, that I specifically had to request a waiver because they would not offer it to me, But the lady said "sorry, you should have known and it's already in the system." I immediately understood what Luigi Mangione felt.

I can't tell you how impressed I am with the quality of care given by everyone from the front desk associate to Nikki Brown the PA. Found out he already had CT Scan. No information was given. They do not listen to the information I gave them, Input incorrect information into their system. I tended to his urinal and water needs from 10 pm until around 2pm the next day when hospital room became available. No one touched him physically or asked me a question in the ER. Once the doctor came that we asked for and that admitted him to hospital the care went from nightmare to excellent. Once under the doctor's care everything changed and his care was wonderful in the hospital. I will never go to Kingwood ER I would rather take my chances at CVS.

Trying to make an appointment was a nightmare. First, I got shuffled off to some call center, then sent back to the McKay location, where I waited on hold forever before someone finally picked up. And when they did, there was no friendly greeting, just a brisk "Village Medical? Birthdate? Name?" It felt really cold and unprofessional. When I mentioned my hernia issue, they just told me they're booked till mid-April. That's it for me. I'm on the hunt for a new family doctor. My wife already left them because they kept nagging her about her weight. I'm definitely out of there too, as soon as possible.

I found Angel Care Family Clinic on Google and saw all the great reviews they had. I decided to give them a try, I was a walk-in patient but they were still able to treat me fairly quickly. I was able to get diagnosed and get prescribed antibiotics in a reasonable amount of time. I initially had my prescription sent to CVS, but it turns out they weren't in my insurance's network, so I called the clinic back and they happily forwarded my prescription to Walmart, so I was able to pick it up. I remember prior to leaving the clinic I got really light headed and they gave me some ammonia to sniff it really helped! They even let me take a few for the road. I paid a $40 co-payment. I highly, highly recommend this place. Their kindness and dedication to their patients is something that is greatly admirable!
