Very nice park with an awesome playground. My kids loved the spiderweb like playground as well as all the other features of the park. The park has lots of green area, walking trail, basketball court, baseball diamond, volleyball area, benches, tables, and bathrooms. The park isn't big and everything surrounds the playground, which is perfect for parents keeping an eye on kids.

What an awesome park for active children!! This park has a fun and interactive ropes course, that is perfect for even my uber athletic climbing 2 year old daughter. You'll definitely fight the dad bod by chasing your little ones up the ropes course, and there's a couple shaded areas that are available for rental for birthday parties and picnics, just dial Anaheim Parks + Rec, the number is peeling off at the actual location. Easy and convenient parking make this park one of our favorites.

This is a pretty big park with a basketball court, volleyball net, bathrooms, a vast grassy area perfect for walking your dogs, and it's a great place to hang out with friends or family! Parking can be a little tough sometimes, but you can always just park across the street and walk from there.

I was trying to look for a nice new park for my little brother and sister, it was really nice at first until a man kept staring at us and after awhile he came up to us to call us "Mexican trash" and that we didn't belong here that that's why he payed for the park so no people like us would come here. If it was just me and he was telling me that I could care less but I was with little kids that was worst part because it's hard to explain that there is still people like this out there. (Btw we are all Americans) Very sad but true and for that I would never recommend anyone to come to this park especially if you "look" Mexican.

Parking was very limited at that time, so plan ahead if you're going early. Clearly, a lot of people know this is the spot for a serious workout. The stairs themselves are brutal in the best way possible. After about three rounds, my legs were completely done--but it's such an effective workout. This place really gets your cardio in fast, and you feel accomplished every time you finish a round. The views along the way make it even more worth it. We also came back later in the day around 5:30 PM. It starts to get a bit dark around that time, so that's something to keep in mind, but it's still a great experience and totally worth it. Overall, if you're looking for a challenging, fun, and effective outdoor workout, Hillcrest Park stairs deliver every time. Just be ready for sore legs and limited parking during peak hours.

There are 400+ steps to climb up and down. The steps are made of timber but could be wet and slippery from early morning dew, so I feel that a late morning trek is better when the stairs are dry. On my second visit, I went around 6 PM. Although the stairs are well lit, I just did not feel safe. I found myself alone at one point and looking behind me, checking if someone is coming out of the dark bushes. Maybe it's just me... But overall, if you would like to hit your 10K steps and/or your target heart rate, this is a fun way to go!

Plenty of grassy and pavement paths to walk through this park. There's also two playgrounds for the kids, so a family-friendly park. I enjoyed the greenery thoughout this park and the mini waterfalls by the lake area. There's also some short stairs here, if you'd like to work up on some cardio. There's like two main parking lots here, at least that's what I saw. I did see some homeless just resting on the grass area by the lake and street side. But they seem harmless, but they can be there if you visit that part of the park. But still a worthy park to go and visit.

There was a wedding or something going on when arriving so it's a pretty busy day. It's absolutely gorgeous outside today so of course people want to enjoy the beautiful outdoors with their kids. Baby girl loves the swings so happy they have them here. Such a beautiful little park to take a nice little walk too. They have a guy selling fruit and then someone else came with cotton candy yay so got one for baby girl and I to share. I would absolutely recommend this park I also seen some of my yelp friends have come here too. I recommend checking this park out it's beautiful and sweet and the water is actually clean and beautiful. Have a beautiful day, be kind to everyone Aloha
