We all wanted to try something different. My first time here, and I enjoyed the scenery of the lake, picnic areas, and the monuments. Very nice family park for people of all ages. Plenty of tables to eat it. Restrooms are kept clean too. It was just exciting to be here. We will all make plenty of trips here again.

We don't come too often because the playgrounds are a little old and for bigger kids. It's more of a nice space for walking with the strollers. The play area is turf and surrounded by picnic tables and Adirondack chairs, with plenty of shade. The design is thoughtful and makes for a great place to spend an afternoon. The parking is free and right next to the play area. It feels secluded and somehow also right in the middle of everything. The only thing missing is a bathroom and while I understand that it's prevent homeless people from moving in, it does limit the amount of time that anyone can hang out here (especially with littles). Still a nice place to enjoy a coffee or picnic and let the kiddos play.

It has a baseball diamond, an open grassy area, some nondescript trees, and a playground. There really isn't too much more to write home about on this one unfortunately. The park is adjacent to a school, and the park also has a "Friendly Center". What this is, I have no idea. I guess its a center where everyone is friendly? Sounds fantastic if you ask me. If you don't ask me, then tough crap. I live not too far from this park and I could see myself taking Lucy over there to play ball with her, let her run around, pee on the grass. Why do i Love this park? 1. close to home…read more2. It is dog friendly: this is where we walk our dogs daily. 3. Big area- you can play basketball, volleyball and big field for soccer, football and baseball. also i see a lot of dog owners playing with their dogs here. 4. Newly renovated toddler playground with cover and new soft flooring. 5. you can see Catalina Island and watch a nice sunset from here as well. The gardeners clean and mow the grass on a weekly basis. They just need to pay more attention the walkway area going to the park coz when the water flows downhill, the dirt and wood chips tend to run towards the walkway.( reason for 4 stars) Also you need to be careful walking after 5 when it's dark coz there are coyotes running on the field.

Along with big open fields of grass !!! Came here for a baby's birthday party and was pleased with the birthday area! There was shade and great seating , looked clean as well. There seemed to be park staff checking in as well. One complaint from the host of the party is that when she arrived to set up, there was a Couple parked in plain sight next to her in the lot, doing the nasty nasty. Yes , you read that right. On a Sunday afternoon (12pm) .... She was disgusted and looked for help but didn't see staff/ anyone nearby . She got out of her car to make her presence be known.... You would think that couple would care and leave ... no MAAM no sir, they finished their business first and then finally left! No tint and didn't care..... Thankfully no children or families were around to see that crap. It's a nice park , nice area but always look twice and don't let your children outta your sight!

This park offers a play area for older kids as well as one for younger kids. It is set in a neighborhood which makes it nice for locals to walk to. Please be respectful when driving to this park and remember your dogs must be on a leash.
