Parking is tight, there are only about 8 spaces, but there is an additional parking lot across the street. The only entrance to the park is off State College Blvd (not Bastanchury - that is a completely separate park). There aren't any amenities at this park aside from benches, tables, and trashcans. There is a plaque describing the directions and views. It's a small park, but perfect for some peace & quiet with a view.

Golden hour during a weekday.

One of the things that calms me down whenever I'm feeling stressed or in need of fresh air is taking a walk at a park. On this particular day before heading out to meet a friend, I just needed to get some peace of mind. Luckily, this park is closely located to where my friend resides so I wanted to make a quick stop here to just relax and think. The park is very simple, as there aren't any playground equipment; only sidewalk trails and some benches. There is an overview of a nearby neighborhood along with hills and mountains in the distance. The parking lot, however, is quite cramped and small. I would say that after visiting this park and taking in all the scenery, I felt much better and at ease.

A quiet, quaint little park on the corner of Bastanchury and State College...it is a relaxing spot. There is little area for parking but most people that frequent the park live near the neighborhood. Across is a nice restaurant called Summit House and there is a trail that is popular on that side of the road...but currently closed due to COVID. There are no amenities in the park and you will not be able to host some big BBQ bash or set up canopies or volleyball nets...but it is great for a little stroll and have some self reflection time...or a great park for you to take a toddler so they could run around and go wild. At night time there are couples taking an evening stroll and the area is peaceful with less traffic in any direction. Overall a pleasant park. Nice.

This is my favorite park to go to when i need to destress. Quiet, clean and a wonderful view!

Me and my wife enjoyed our short but peaceful walk together and enjoyed the view. We went late night and no one was there. Although the car's lights would shine upon us and the park while passing by, it wasn't bad. I recommend Mountain Veiw Park, especially if you want lonely time with your partner!!! It was beautiful especially the spider they are awesome.

Nice park, nice views all around. Might want to pick up the trash more frequently though. Picnic benches and tables available. Or if you prefer benches to sit and enjoy the views.

Pretty nice cute park. Great views on clear days. I wish the trash cans where emptied daily but the city has other priorities I get it. Plenty of parking. Good place to take a few laps around the walkway. Change up your route changing which pathway.

Nice resting area.

This was a beautiful find! A friend and I were looking for somewhere to eat and just vent. I found this place a mile away from Brea mall! It was very cozy and beautiful! It isn't that big so don't expect some grand park. Just go to enjoy the view and the person you're with. There are many benches and seating areas. Parking is limited so park nearby if you don't find any parking spots. It gets dark so watch out for any spider webs. I almost walked into 3 while I was there :-/ with some huge spiders in it. The only reason I gave this place four stars and not five is due to the lack of release for your IBS or UTI (jk). But seriously, there are no restrooms at all so it's really inconvenient if you plan on staying there with a significant other. You would have to leave to use the restroom which completely sucks. Other than that, I loved the place!

Mount Baldy on a clear day!

This is a very small park. Small as it is, the view on a clear day is one of the best in Fullerton. You can see the buildings of LA in the distance. And Mount Baldy as well. I thought it was a great place to be. Smell of freshly cut grass, clear sunny day, soft breeze. Glorious.

Hillcrest Park

Hillcrest Park in Fullerton--specifically the stairs--is no joke, but that's exactly why we love…read moreit. We went early in the morning around 7:00 AM, and it was already packed. Parking was very limited at that time, so plan ahead if you're going early. Clearly, a lot of people know this is the spot for a serious workout. The stairs themselves are brutal in the best way possible. After about three rounds, my legs were completely done--but it's such an effective workout. This place really gets your cardio in fast, and you feel accomplished every time you finish a round. The views along the way make it even more worth it. We also came back later in the day around 5:30 PM. It starts to get a bit dark around that time, so that's something to keep in mind, but it's still a great experience and totally worth it. Overall, if you're looking for a challenging, fun, and effective outdoor workout, Hillcrest Park stairs deliver every time. Just be ready for sore legs and limited parking during peak hours.

There are 400+ steps to climb up and down. The steps are made of timber but could be wet and slippery from early morning dew, so I feel that a late morning trek is better when the stairs are dry. On my second visit, I went around 6 PM. Although the stairs are well lit, I just did not feel safe. I found myself alone at one point and looking behind me, checking if someone is coming out of the dark bushes. Maybe it's just me... But overall, if you would like to hit your 10K steps and/or your target heart rate, this is a fun way to go!

Not a lot of parking here but they do have picnic tables and a cute park area and you can also bring ride on things, skateboards, scooters and bikes. It's a spacious park big inviting and pretty. It's pretty nice big and lots of plant area for the kids. I would recommend checking this out. It's nice for picnics too. Have a beautiful day, be kind to everyone :) Aloha

We went around 5:30 on a weekday and it wasn't too crowded, probably about 4 other kids there. Like I said, I really liked how many slides there were-- in the small kid area there were 4 (one being a double slide, so 5) and the bigger kid side had 2 taller slides. My kid had fun playing on both sides. They also have swings and a cool little gyro-spinning thing for the kids. We did visit the bathroom while there and it was pretty no frills, but several rolls of toilet paper and some hand soap outside, so that was a plus. This park also has a little grassy patch that people were playing frisbees in and possibly disc golf. All in all, this park was very nice!

I went there with someone, and the moment we stepped into the park, I felt this bright, open energy that reminded me of the same playful excitement I felt when I visited Funko Hollywood. The whole place felt alive in a way I didn't expect from a park. What really stood out to me right away was how many teenagers were there. They were walking around the trails, relaxing under the trees, taking pictures near the lake, and just enjoying the space in a natural, comfortable way. Seeing so many teenagers made the park feel even more vibrant, almost like it was designed for them to have a place where they could be themselves. As I walked around, I appreciated how easy it was to enjoy everything without feeling rushed. The park is big enough to explore but not so big that it feels overwhelming. The lake area especially has this peaceful atmosphere that still feels exciting because of all the activity happening around it. I saw teenagers taking photos with the water behind them, and the scenery looked so good that it almost felt like a real outdoor version of those fun, creative photo spots at Funko Hollywood. Everything was free, which makes it even better for teenagers who want a place to hang out, take pictures, and have fun without spending money. I only visited Ralph B. Clark Park one time before making this review, but it left a strong impression on me. I didn't realize how much there was to enjoy until I walked deeper into the park and saw the trails, the open fields, the museum building, and all the little areas where people were relaxing. The experience turned out exactly the way I hoped it would. It reminded me how much I enjoy places that feel youthful, open, and creative. In the summertime of 2024, I learned that I am still physically and mentally 18 years old even though I have lived for 24 years, and that sense of youthfulness connected perfectly with the atmosphere of this park. My prefrontal cortex may be more developed than the average 25 year old's, but that does not stop me from appreciating places that make me feel playful, sharp, and relaxed at the same time. Ralph B. Clark Park is honestly one of the most enjoyable outdoor places I have been to in a long time. It has that perfect mix of calm and excitement that teenagers love, and it gives them a space to talk, laugh, take pictures, walk around, and feel creative without any pressure. I would highly recommend that teenagers go there because it is the kind of place where they can have fun, feel comfortable, and make memories in a setting that feels safe, open, and full of life.
