I used to live in fullerton, but this was my first time at this park! My girls loved the playground, and it was shaded which is a huge bonus. Hidden in a neighborhood behind some homes which is why I never knew it existed. Had a great afternoon here today with friends for a play date. The restrooms were clean and there was some benches to sit and eat at also. read more

I brought my kids here after our Sunday morning breakfast during the heat wave. I couldn't even begin to say how thankful I was for the shade. It was absolutely baking. I love the equipment variety and condition it was in. My girls had a load of fun and everything was spread out enough not to make it feel cramped. The only dislike about this place are the wood chips. Rubber would have been so much better but I get it's a more cost effective way to handle things. Great playground. Will bring the kids back soon. read more

I really loved this park. The playground is a big hidden, but thankfully I found it. It has a playground that is completely covered which I love for the sun protection. They have a teeter-totter swing which I loved doing with my daughter. They also have a seated merry-go-round, slides, plenty of benches, and plenty of things to climb. The bathrooms are less than twenty feet away. There are lots of adorable ground squirrels running around and my daughter and I even spotted some rabbits. Bring your insect repellent for the afternoons, as I got quite a few mosquito bites as we entered that time. read more

Very cool park for toddlers that we take Ian to once in a while. Pros: Play area is under shade. (+1) Adventurous play sections. (+1) Not crowded at all. (+1) Good vantage point for adults to supervise their kids. Kids cannot run away from the play area onto any nearby road with vehicles. Cons: None. This is one of the best "parks" (they call it a sports complex) in the area. It's always clean, has plenty of fields and green space to play sports, children's play equipment and walking space (and parking). Day or dusk, you'll feel safe at this place (which is a super important when visiting a park). The play equipment for kids has plenty of different things to climb, jump, swing, slide and have fun with/on. The best part? The equipment is shaded so it doesn't get too hot and your children don't get fatigued too easily. read more

This place has one huge kids play area. The play area is only for 5-12 years of age. The play area is quite difficult for toddlers to enjoy. It has two swings. One adult swing that's a bit too low to the ground for an actual adult to ride on. Another swing that's for toddlers, but doesn't have a closing on one side so only kids who knows how to hold on can ride on the swing. Minus one star for not having diversity on play area. However the play area has lots of good shade which is a big plus. There are lots of parking spots. This sports complex is located near a residential area so it looks pretty hidden from the main streets. The play area is located further down the hill. read more

This seems to be my son's favorite park and we go park hopping all over O.C. The play area is covered keeping the kids cool and has a really fun and interesting set up. Its surrounded by baseball fields and a soccer field as well. I see some of the kids hike up the hill next to it. The actual play equipment is a bit worn down and needs some upkeep but has a fun layout that can keep kids busy playing. There are picnic tables off to the side and several benches surrounding the play area. There's a snack bar and bathrooms (sort of creepy but all park bathrooms tend to be). Lots of families hanging out while siblings play sports. read more

I'm only commenting on the playground which is very unique with several apparatuses and platforms that the kids climb around on. Also the equipment is shielded by the sun with a huge cover. My son and I were here last weekend when the weather was in the low 90s and the shade was a life saver for both of us. I highly recommend this park. There is lots for the kiddoes to explore. read more

I was recommended to this park because it has the largest shaded playground of all the parks in Orange County. It's true, the playground is entirely shaded however the playground itself isn't the biggest in the county (above average). Nevertheless, the kids seems to enjoy it just fine and I'd recommend you to make the drive if it's pretty sunny outside. read more

Beautiful park with a fully shaded kids playground. There are baseball fields, walking trails, and green area for relaxing. My favorite feature of this park is the fully shaded playground which is perfect for those hot summer days. This playground is wonderfully shaded. I also like that the ground is covered in wood chips. Wood chips are cleaner and less dusty compare to sand. My kids wear closed up shoes so they never complain about having wood chips stick to their feet. They are pretty good in adding more wood chips if needed. The area is well maintained. Bathroom is pretty clean compare to other playgrounds. They are also quick in getting equipment fixed. There's a big baseball field next to the playground which is accessible on the side. Kids are free to roam around. I also like the fact that it's not too big so you can watch your kids easily. I took a star away because it doesn't have lots of seatings. One side note is that it's probably more appropriate for children 4 to 10. There's a bouncy duck, swings, slides, and a boat for toddlers to play but that's pretty much it. read more

My sons love this park! We love that it's covered, minimal sun exposure which makes this park on a hot day more tolerable plus less sunscreen on the kiddos! The bathrooms are clean, the park is clean, tons of parking on a weekday, I haven't been on a weekend! One of the best parks in the OC as a covered park! read more

This is a great playground for kids and shaded. Also clean bathroom near by. There are also baseball and soccer fields!

This is a nice facility with three baseball fields and a soccer field. They have a permanent snack shack between two of the baseball fields that is open pretty much every night during baseball season. There are temporary food and beverage tents set up for most of the soccer games scheduled here. There are two permanent restroom facilities that are well maintained year around as well. It sure beats some facilities we end up at that only have the portable restrooms. Just like most cities out there, facility allocation has to be shared by multiple sports and teams. Lit grass facilities are at a never ending premium as parks do not pay a annual tax. :-) read more

This place is great for kids. Our 2 year old had a great time in the playground. I love how it's covered so they are always shaded from the sun. We went on a weekend when there was no baseball games going on so it wasn't too busy. But I'm sure during the season it gets busy considering it's right between two baseball fields. read more

This park is a great place to take your kids. The only reason why I gave it a 3 star rating is because the restrooms were very dirty. I could not even take my kids in there. Hopefully next time we go the restrooms are in better shape. Other than that we had a nice afternoon there. read more

It's a nice covered play ground. It still gets hot after playing, but I would visit again when I want to avoid the sun for a while.
