Highly recommend Switch. They installed a 7.4 kW solar system, and upgraded our main panel. Competitive pricing, clear quotes, and quick, professional team that did the install. Easy to recommend to others. read more

I have used Switch for two jobs now, one to install a whole-house attic fan and one to purchase and install a standby generator. Both jobs were done very well and I was very pleased with the price and quality of the work. It is obvious that the company cares about the finish quality of their work. Tyler is also very communicative over email so it is easy to know the status of things. I've recommended Switch to many co-workers and they have all been extremely satisfied as well. read more

Incredible service from Switch Electric. The team came out and installed a whole house generator and wired our unfinished basement. They did an outstanding, high quality job and were very efficient. Thank you so very much. read more

Found Switch as a referral and will absolutely pass on the recommendation. Daniel came out to quote replacing our breaker panel and troubleshoot another issue. The guys that came out to fix the issue he identified were super knowledgeable, professional and further helped guide the project we have scheduled in a couple months. My only complaint is how far out they are scheduling - I guess that's what you get with quality but worth the wait in my opinion. Thanks! read more

Switch Electric is the best. We have been using them for ten years now and their work is always top notch and the electricians knowledgeable and friendly. read more

Switch did a fantastic job on our home. It needed several external outlets installed, recessed lighting, re-mapping of light switches, and electricity run out to our shed. They were efficient, professional, highly knowledgable, and cost effective. We'll be customers for life. read more

We were debating whether to get a standby generator for over a year, doing a ton of personal research (which was daunting). After a couple different contractors gave us half-hearted suggestions and inflated estimates, we found Switch -- and their knowledge and dedication not only gave us peace of mind, it saved us thousands of dollars! We went with a unit that was just the right size for our house, saving us from needing to upgrade our gas line ($$$); plus they found us a "free extended warranty" promo that saved us even more. The installation went off without a hitch, and we've already "enjoyed" the benefits of uninterrupted power during an outage in the neighborhood. We couldn't be happier with our Switch experience! read more

Used for several projects last year and they always did great work. Installed new outside light fixture and box. Also new outlets and fixed some bad wiring. Highly recommend read more

Recently had Switch Electric do some routine electrical maintenance for us. My conclusion is that they are friendly, prompt, competent, and thorough. The entire experience with them from setting up an appointment through the actual service and payment was great. No complaints; will use again without hesitation. read more

We had our electric panel updated, four can lights installed, and a ceiling fan installed. Brian and Dan were great to work with. They were quick, respectful, and answered all of my questions. They also were really patient with our dog and toddler. I will definitely use Switch Electric in the future and am happy to recommend them to others! read more

I Had an old generator that quit working. After determining that it needed a complete overhaul. I decided to get a quote for replacement and received a quote promptly. Switch electric had the generator in stock, while other companies said there was a 4 to 6 week wait time. Switch electric also kept me informed during the process from placing the order, scheduling the install date and then confirming the arrival. After the install they thoroughly trained on how to use the generator. They are very professional and helpful. I would highly recommend them for all your generator needs. read more

We had Switch out to do some work for us about a month ago and then decided to have them come back to more. Their crew is very professional and takes the time to communicate well with the homeowner. We highly recommend them to everyone in need of electrical work. read more

We have had several projects completed by Joe and his team at Switch Electric (including an entire house re-wire). The service has been great. They answered all our questions about the electrical work as it was being done (and are willing to answer questions that arise after the work is completed). I would use them again if the need arises. read more

I've had Switch do work at my house twice now, most recently to add some new circuits in my garage. The employees who did the estimate and the installation were all very responsive, showed up on time, and very professional. They explained the options available to me, and when I decided exactly what needed to be done, the actual work was top notch. They also helped me understand exactly what permits I needed and to apply for them. I'll gladly use them for any future electrical needs. read more

Bryan and team from switch electric were awesome. They wore a mask at all times, listened to my requests and suggested options and let me choose where I wanted the generator installed. And they worked quickly and efficiently. Very impressed by their professional work where they worked through the pouring rain too! Thanks guys! And to top it they were the mostly budget friendly quote among all the top companies I reached out too. read more

Great electricians and super customer service. Had them install an automatic generator at my lake house. They were excellent. Then had service done and they continue to be great! Would highly recommend and would use them again! read more

The guys who came over from Switch Electric LLC were the very best service providers I have ever worked with. They were prompt, courteous, professional, friendly, efficient and clean; they were perfect and the experience left me asking for more help from them as soon as possible. The new bathroom fan/fixture is so quiet, works and looks great and the team from Switch made the installation so easy. Thanks Switch! read more

Working with Aaron and Joseph was a pleasure, and I highly recommend them, and Switch Electric. We did thousands of dollars of work, ranging from adding lighting to the front of our house to installing wiring to charge our car to wiring the inside of our house. The work was deep and wide, but Aaron and Joseph were efficient and did everything really well. I appreciated the fact that they explained the details of the work and, when necessary, clearly outlined different options available. I got a serious education in electricity code and the electrical makings of my home. I liked the fact that scheduling could be done online, and that appointment reminders were sent via email, too. I was very happy with Switch overall and will use them again in the future. read more

Had a really positive experience with Switch Electric rewiring my 1927 home this week. They came recommended from my boss, after I received quotes from a couple of other companies that were absurdly high. Alex was the project manager for the work and we were super impressed with how well he communicated, and with his thoroughness and attention to detail. On several occasions he called us over to suggest an improved placement for switches/outlets or a better approach to the wiring in the room. The work was done on time and to a high quality and we were kept updated throughout. They were willing to work around us while we worked from home in the house. I will definitely call them back if we have future projects. read more

Switch is my go-to place for electrical help. My latest service was with Bryan E. He was thorough, courteous and communicative. It required creative problem solving and he with his 2 helpers got the job done. I'm not an easy customer. I have a weird house. They always take good care of me. They help me feel safe. You'll be in good hands with these guys. If anything doesn't work out exactly the way you hoped - they make it right. read more

What a great group of guys! From the estimate to the installation, everything was problem free. They were here on time, which says something when you live on an island! They did a great job cleaning up when done as well. When the power company showed up to reinstall the meter, he looked at the switch box they had installed and had nothing but praise for the job done. And he was an electrician for over 20 years! We still have to pass inspection and the guys will be back for the final hookup, test and orientation of my new whole home generator but I expect no problems. I got several bids before choosing Switch and I am glad I chose the right company. I would definitely recommend! read more

Switch installed a full PV system on my house. They are worth 5/5 stars on customer service alone. They were extremely helpful and professional. The workmanship was also top notch! I cannot recommend them enough to give you a solar system. read more

It is rare to hire a contractor that is this amazing. Tyler and his team come to the table in ways I am often surprised by. They are extremely knowledgeable, dedicated, timely, positive and thorough. In addition to being skilled in their labor they also are warm and engaging from a customer service standpoint. As a residential customer, I appreciate being educated when I hire a contractor so that I am completely in the loop. The sense of confidence that I have in this team is awesome. They are one of the very few contractors I would highly highly recommend. Thank you read more

Fantastic customer service, professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Joe our electrician, could not have been better! These guys are fantastic! They are quick to respond to calls/emails/questions. They installed multiple flood lights, added electricity with a light and outlets to our shed, added additional switches to existing lights, added outlets around the outside of our house, and replaced our very outdated chandeliers with new ones. Of the three quotes we got from the three companies, Switch Electric was very reasonably/competitively priced. We will definitely use them again as needed. read more

Jeremy and Johannes did an awesome job taking care of multiple jobs to add lighting to the exterior of our home and helped to quickly problem solve the difficulties that can pop up in an older home. Everyone did an excellent job explaining in layman terms all that needed to be done, so I understood the scope of work. Looking forward to working with them again adding a generator later this summer. read more

Had a great experience with Switch Electric. Their price was very fair and they were able to perform the work really fast. The crew that came out to do the work was very professional, checking and confirming with me every location for the outlets. We have switch electric installed a gable vent fan last year in our attic. I recently went up to our attic for some routine checks, just found out what a lousy work that the crew had done on mounting the fan. As showed in the pic - 1) The fan was mounted to the frame of our gable vent (1/2 inch trim) instead of the studs. How can you mount a heavy power fan with a high speed motor onto some non-structural frame? A stud mounting base should have been built around the gable vent for mounting. 2) The fan has four brackets, however, only two were used. Apparently, the crew couldn't figure out where to put the remaining two brackets. Again, a stud mounting base should have been built. 3) What makes it worse is that one of the two brackets were screwed to one of the gable vent vanes (the gable vent vanes are fixed to the vent fame with staples) This way of mounting the fan has imposed serious safety hazardous to our house. read more

Professional and clean work! I have never seen anyone like the guys from switch electric. Their work really shows by the pride they take on their work. Everything was done flawlessly. Within only a couple of hours they were able to install interlock switch and generator receptor to my main electrical system. Not to mention everything were hook up cleanly and in organized manner. They even took the time to cleanup the area that they work. No messy after work left over. Actually my floor was cleaner than it was before they started. Appreciate the work you guys put in! Keep up the good work! Will definitely come back in the future! I highly recommend these guys! read more

Switch was fast, fair and very communicative in regards to the electrical work done on our house. I highly recommend them.

I found Switch Electric from Angies List also. Did not buy a deal from AL but went with these guys because their estimates were much more in line than other local electrical firms servicing my area (off I-90 on Eastside). Kory, the journeyman electrician, arrived with another guy (an understudy) and installed a circuit extension for my coat closet. Did a much cleaner layout than other guys who had also bid on this job. Effficient work, no mess. I recommend these guys. read more
