I tried opening it myself, with too little knowledge and spending too much money on chemicals. The white flag was eventually drawn and a "professional" pool service was called in. They worked on it for 2 weeks with absolutely no change. They too drew the white flag and was never seen or heard from again. I was referred over to Classic Pool Services from a friend.
