He came out and looked at the project and agreed to replace the entire filter mechanism and repair the Polaris. This is where it becomes difficult. He did not show back up and would not answer calls nor respond to texts. Finally, after weeks, he answered and said he had been busy moving. We were patient and waited for him to get thru that. Fast forward, he comes out and sells us a "slightly used" filter because he had replaced it for a larger one for another customer. He sold us on its reliability and assured us he would maintain it serviced. He installed the new machine (tossed and left the old one aside), he worked on the Polaris and was paid what he charged. Again, he didn't come back. We called and texted to no avail because the Polaris is NOT fixed. Now, the filter he sold us has to have all of the panels replaced because they were not good to begin with. We hired someone new now and have spent the money AGAIN to do what he promised and did not deliver. I do not recommend this pool service at all.

I ran through a litany of technicians as ASP struggled to find reliable help, which is a common problem most businesses have. I have been contemplating dropping ASP for months now as their efforts to keep my pool clean on a bi-weekly schedule were increasingly easy as my wife and I shouldered the heavy lift by daily maintenance and adding chemicals as required. The final straw was over the last visit in which chemicals were not added when three tests confirmed that I was out of chlorine, and a lack of a prompt response. This was due to the company getting large enough that the owner can't keep up with customers texting him directly, which I had. So all in all, a simple misunderstanding, however we are leaving due to a lack of need for this service, not due to the service which I have always found satisfactory. I would/ will return to ASP should the pool care become more than I can provide.

We started looking for service providers and got 3 bids and hired So Texas Pools to do the leak test. They came out promptly and found 2 leaks. One was covered by insurance the other a crack in the pool was not. I mainly spoke with Chris and he went over the repairs and provided a quote so we knew the process they would employ to fix the leak. Their willingness to be open with us in taking the time to explain everything was refreshing. They did a solid job shutting down the leak. Our pool is about 20 years old and we asked for a quote to remove the old tile that was fading and coming off. He gave us a discount on the leak fix if we added the tile. To make things worse, he admitted they never noted in my account that I have a saltwater pool, even though that was the first thing I told them when I signed up in June. Check the auto fill due to overfilling-came right out to fix The only negative I have is when doing the quarterly LLSP I haven't seen a report for quality of items, chemicals added, updates on what they've done. However, the last visit with the female and male personnel (last week) were outstanding and was showing me everything in addition to addressing concerns. I appreciated them doing this and hope they get made aware that they did a great job! Overall experience with KZP has been great! No complaints and don't regret any decisions made by going with this company...true to word every step of the way! Yes, may not be cheaper than others but please review the "quality and warranties" when reviewing the contracts. Definitely do some research prior to signing, learn which equipment is one versus another, structuring of the pool (pipe installed) etc. Understand the reputations of companies, Ie, Houzz app, BBB, google reviews etc. We plan to renew warranty as we have had several things happened and want to be covered as we have experienced great service for getting items addressed and can only imagine the cost if not covered.

They had to return a Polaris 360 also in the same visit which I accommodated for two weeks. I'm running it now and hopefully it was worth the $80 to fix, $10 more than the quoted price. I'll be finding another pool service company and will not use them again nor do I advise you to do so. Cash first, service maybe.......
