However there are some updates minor things that have occurred since we have been swimming: 1. A pipe cracked after the cold weather and even included the actual pipe for connecting the hoses to it. (Replaced entire components free of charge since having the LLSP coverage/1year warranty-highly recommend!!! 2. The vacuum was not suctioning well-replaced connection and took out extra weights for water tube for vacuum (last week) 3. Pool light flickering-came out to fix right away 4. Assisted with calcium build up-told me what to buy and showed me what to do 5. Check the auto fill due to overfilling-came right out to fix The only negative I have is when doing the quarterly LLSP I haven't seen a report for quality of items, chemicals added, updates on what they've done. However, the last visit with the female and male personnel (last week) were outstanding and was showing me everything in addition to addressing concerns. I appreciated them doing this and hope they get made aware that they did a great job! Overall experience with KZP has been great! No complaints and don't regret any decisions made by going with this company...true to word every step of the way! Yes, may not be cheaper than others but please review the "quality and warranties" when reviewing the contracts. Definitely do some research prior to signing, learn which equipment is one versus another, structuring of the pool (pipe installed) etc. Understand the reputations of companies, Ie, Houzz app, BBB, google reviews etc. We plan to renew warranty as we have had several things happened and want to be covered as we have experienced great service for getting items addressed and can only imagine the cost if not covered.

I also purchased a pool cover and one of the benefits supposedly was that they were a one stop shop for needs post build. Well I just tried to get an annual maintenance scheduled and apparently they don't do that and advised I needed to go directly to the manufacturer. And the LSPP program - I have no idea what I am paying for, so many exclusions and am at my wits end!

i don't know that I have ever written a negative review before, but this situation requires it…read more Over the past 30 years I've had several pool service companies. This one is, without any doubt, the WORST I've ever had. They started off great and got my pool back to blue after the last company let it just turn green. After a few weeks, however, they quit caring and my pool has been green for weeks (maybe even a couple of months). When I inquired about it, they claimed it was because of all of the plants around the pool. My backyard is landscaped but there's nothing about it that would cause it to turn green. It turned green, in my opinion, because they didn't want to spend the money necessary to keep it blue. Ultimately, I had to fire them because their pool tech started yelling at my housekeeper and got extremely aggressive. He even made veiled threats to me. I will get the money they required that I pay them in advance even if I have to sue them. My advice: DO NOT LET THEM ANYWHERE NEAR YOUR POOL. If I could give less than 1 star, I would give them a negative 5 star rating.

Jack and his team have no interest in maintaining pool chemistry or properly cleaning the pool…read more They don't rinse out the skimmer baskets or seat them properly in the well. They don't test the pool chemistry. I had zero free chlorine just 2 days after service. The pH was way too high as well as the CYA. The pool was very cloudy one time and they did nothing about it when they came out. I had to call them back to fix their sub-par work. When I confronted them about the dirty skimmer baskets, Jack denied responsibility rather than man up and fix it. Worst small contractor experience ever! This guy never had any intention of completing the services…read morehe quoted. I had to hire another contractor immediately after he abandoned the job today leaving the pool shell vulnerable to shifting after he drained the pool water on the ground next to the pool...mind you I had to spend 2 hours last night after getting home in order to figure out a way to get the water flowing to the drainage ditch 10 feet away after I came home to find the water pooling around the pool and on the neighboring wood fence flowing into their yard. I ilterally had to do his job for him. The ground was so soaked the excess water then flowed into neighbors yard damaging recently planted grass and fence. His actions were calculated and and his passive aggressive responses so coldly delivered you can tell he's done this to numerous customers before. His intention is to show up and collect full payment for negligence. He blamed the pool draining next to the pool on too short of a hose (every other contractor said they must be prepared to drain to street if they have to...never in the yard) and he blamed the lack of any improvement to the pool stains on a weak pressure washer. How do you accept a job without the tools or willingness to put in the required labor?! I can't let his happen to any other customer. Attaching a photo as a testament to his work ethic. We were in shock at what he tried to pass off as a cleaning. Mind you he spent less than half an hour superficially running the power washer over the surface. Despite this he even managed to damange sections of the plaster wall where its obvious he pointed the pressure washer at for too long!!!! We were told those dark areas were the best it would get with out an acid treatment. We immediately contacted other contractors that recognized the SCAM and this pic shows the difference b/w his work (yes the dark walls are what he claims he cleaned) and what the emergency hire did without an acid wash in less than 15 mins of work (the cleaner section in middle of pic) with just the first pass. Cabana Boys is a scam! Their game is to provide a quote, make an appearance and then hope the client doesn't know better... and if they recognize the service was never delivered, negotiate a refunded amount that unfairly compensates them for unfinished service. Not to mention the damages or liabilities they expose the clien to. Cabana Boys walked off the job after my wife (who luckily happened to be working from home) questioned the work leaving the pool vulnerable to damage. For full transparency: Contractor Quoted $1,200+ ($700 was to clean the pool, the balance was for work to be done to the pump system after the pool was cleaned). I paid the contractor in full upfront. He completed none of the work and only left us w/damages. Only offered to refund $760 after all of the above. I rejected his offer for me to pay him $450+ for no service plus damages but, true to his nature, he texts that he processed a $760 refund (despite my non-acceptance) AND lies about that too... he never refunded any amt to the card. When you hire a contractor, you expect: 1) completion of services, 2) job ownership and at a basic minimum 3) the ability and tools to actually perform the services quoted. Don't let Cabana Boys scam you out of your money, Don't let Cabana Boys expose you to damages they left us with and save yourself the stress and time waste Cabana Boys will put you through.
