We are happy with our huge pool bought and installed by this company. Concrete and stone coping was contracted out by me but they did the rest. They wouldn't set pool in hole until I paid the full amount and had to wait a couple weeks or so on equipment but it was all installed properly and we love it! read more

I tried to post on there FB page (wicked pool guys) but I guess they hide all the bad post because mine was deleted and I was blocked. I also tried to post on Grzly marketing page about wicked pool guys and he also deleted my post and blocked me. Another review sounds similar to mine about bad reviews being deleted. Says a lot about a company to hide bad reviews. As a "new" company they are going in the wrong direction. My neighbor has been having a pool put in for almost 2 months now already made 2 payment and still waiting on concrete. Always good to take screen shots! Pictures are as of today 8-29-24. Started this end of June. Effects me because I can't walk into my back yard from the side of my house because it's usually mud, my fence was torn down for weeks and my yard is a mess. See what kind of silly response this review gets. Maybe it will be deleted as well. I'll update review when complete.also added pictures of how my yard has been left and my fence post . This is a brand new home btw. They preach quality, we shall see the end game. Will update! Nope not a client but was thinking about it until I saw how y'all run your company. DAILY (unfortunately) UPDATE (3 Oct, 24) Although the business response sounded like they were working on remedying our situation, like I expected, I have had no response. My pool is sitting with no equipment to circulate the water, which is required to keep the calcium buildup and concrete dust accumulation from completely ruining our pool. Cathlyn Owens, the single approval authority for authorizing funds to get the equipment that we've already purchased, will not approve this purchase and will not answer any of my calls or call me back after MANY attempted calls to her. Her husband, who owns the company, is a Laissez-faire owner that will not communicate with anyone, including his own employees, even when his company is completely screwing people over. They both have my phone number and have NEVER reached out or called. Any responses to this review update will probably be from their marketing manager, Shawn Phillips, who is just trying to sound like they actually care when they really do not. UPDATE (Oct 2, 2024): In response to the reply I got for this review. First, I didn't just bring this to anyone's attention, I've emailed and called consistently for MONTHS now and talked with multiple people that have given me different excuses or just not responding at all (where I'm at now). This response to my review is pretty much the same response I've been given for months, to include the concrete that took forever to get completed, to this equipment issue, which I was trying to head off a long time ago. Second, I have no idea who you are, Shawn P., because I've never heard your name the many times I've called to try and get any resolution to the many issues we've had (aside from just this equipment issue), and the only name I've been given that has any approval authority it seems is Cathlyn, who is never in the office when we call, morning, afternoon, evening...and nobody ever knows when she'll be in or if it will even be that day or the next and it appears that she is also unreachable to all the other workers there, which is a huge issue, especially being the only one there with decision authority. So excuse me if I don't take your response seriously, because I've heard that load before from you all, many times. And if you're actually a manager there that has any authority and can resolve this issue, I'd be happy to receive your call...your staff definitely has my number. I'm posting this review for both Wicked Pool Guys and Lonestar Finerglass Pools (also known as Lonestar Pools of Texas), since the replies to Lonestar Pools reviews say that Lonestar is no longer in business and I've had correspondence with Wicked Pool Guys, who is also owned by Chris, who owns Lonestar Pools. The primary reason for my review right now is not receiving my pool equipment, making my pool unusable. The only person that can approve things, like buying the pool equipment that I've inquired about for months now, is not reachable and does not seem to be in the office any time I call. We cannot use our pool because they do not have the equipment in. I've been given a lot of different excuses as to why my equipment has not been in for months now, but everything is finally (after a long time) finished except the equipment. I was told they would purchase it locally since it is not in the shipments they get, but the purchase needs the signature of the COO? (Cathlyn), who does not respond to calls or emails. The owner (Chris Owens) does not respond to emails either. Nobody seems to be able to get me in touch with either of them, who sound like they're the only two that can approve these things. read more
